Thick Soup and quality ingredients. Overpriced but worth it Cozy wooden stools and steel tables. Good air ventilation. Tried tomyam and plain soup. Long time (1hr) to serve on table although not peak hour and only few customer at that period. Better eat some light snacks before wait for queue. Will recommend friends to go again.

This seems to be a very local place. Patronized mostly by locals, it sells mainly noodles with two soup base - clear fish soup or spicy tomyam. Customers order at the front desk. After selecting the soup base, you choose the noodles then the side dishes like Swatow fish ball, pork meat pork, fu chuk, prawns, fried fish meat, vegetables, etc. Bear in mind that every side dish add on will add to the final price of the noodles. Be prepared for the noodles to end up more than Rm15 easily. The tomyam noodles we had was yummy & the spiciness of the soup base was up to our taste. The lobak was excellent and seems to be a must order dish here. The meat fillings were very fresh. Overall 4/5 strictly for the food.

Not a big fan for the soup. I feel is a bit overrated. I tried better fish head noodle in kl. But the fish skin is great.

I ordered a rice noodle in tom yum soup (or broth) with meat balls, crab sticks and something like fish cake for topping. The broth is superb spicy for me, it's kinda sweet and thick, cannot taste the fish but to me it was good. I also ordered fried squid (not calamary) as a side dish and it was so good, even better than the noodle bowl. I quite like this place

Nice, thick tomyum soup (tomato taste is rather strong) if you love spicy stuff. You get to customize your bowl of noodles and ingredients. Recommended to try! (But the place is very very very warm 😂)

Malaysian Chinese tomyum, the taste more towards sweet. Variety of ingredient for you to choose. Lobak are fresh and nice!

I came here because two different friends recommended this place. But it really isn't worth it to try. It's tasteless (We ordered the bee hoon soup not the tomyam) The portion is big ya true, but the price is so expensive. We paid rm46 for two (noodles + mushroom + fish pcs) And also drinks and side dish (total rm61) Plus, the guy who takes the order is so rude. I don't speak BM and I don't speak Chinese, so I asked how to order and he started yelling like crazy.

Very delicious and flavorful noodles broth. We prefer this clear soup version than to the spicy TomYum. Top up with miscellaneous extra ingredients but expect to pay about RM20/ big bowl. A small bowl is suffice for one though. Fried batter squid is yummy too.

We heard that this place is famous for their fish head noodle so we came for lunch since we were visiting nearby jetties. You choose the fish toppings which are mostly fried (alternative to fried fish head), the type of noodle and the soup base. We ordered one rice noodle in clear soup and one instant noodle in tom yum base. Same fried fish head toppings for both. I recommend the rice noodle in clear soup because it allows you to taste the natural flavour of the fish (topping). I absolutely not recommend the tom yum. It didn't seem like Thai tom yum but some sort of Korean instant spicy noodles flavour. It was way too overpowering that I couldn't taste anything other than the spiciness. It ruined the entire dish. The fried fish head topping was ok. Nothing that I would rave about.

One of my favourite noodle in Tom Yam soup available on the island. The tomyam is typical local Chinese style, if you know what I mean. Plain soup ("cheng thng") noodles available as well. Good portions and they serve fresh fish. Would often stop by and grab a takeaway to go home and eat as the place can be a little warm.

This is an exceptional famous place for tomyam and fish bihun/ vermicelli. Their tomyam is really spicy and can make you tear. Anyway, you can always ask for a less spicy version. The side dish is a must-try too if you have additional tummy-space. But, I do feel the meal is rather inconsistent. (Not the colour of the soup)

Oh wow! Really unsuspecting place to have these delicious soups and tomyam fish noodles. Starts from RM 10 and you can add anything on their photo list. It was our first visit so we didn't know how to order. 1. Actually we just had to choose a base soup - plain or tomyam. 2. Choose noodles/none. 3. Add veg/mushrooms, optional. 4. Add fish balls, meat balls, egg, etc. Optional. The plain soup was so good! The tomyam was one of the best I've had in years. Lobak and fried sotong was ok.

Best bee hoon soup ( clear soup ) in Penang as far as I am concerned. Choose own ingredients. Popular include fried fish , fish balls, minced pork and different types of mushrooms. Very very reasonable price !

Love their tomyum soup so much, it's spicy and soup is thick, very delicious and the fried sliced fish also good 💯 you can customize your own noodles and ingredients. Clear soup also delicious. Price is reasonable. Hard to find parking because it located beside the main road.

Recommended. Soup is thick and tasty. Tomyam is sweet type and just nice. Fish meat is fresh.

If you're a fan of tomyam, you won't want to miss this place - one of the best tomyam in town! You can customize your tomyam with your preferred ingredients. You can also get nice karipap and other snacks.

Spicy and sour tom yum. Good thing here is a wide varieties of ingredients for u to add on, and the snacks sold taste nice as well. Cons is a few chickens allowed to walk freely around the eating place which could b a disturbance to the customers.

Tried the clear and tom yum fish head bee hoon soup and they were okay. Clear soup is kinda bland. Tom yum soup is thick but not smooth. Kinda powdery. Fresh fish is RM 9, whereas fried fish is RM 11.

The Food! Oh my gosh.. the food.. the Tom Yum is a must try. MUST try. So thick to the point almost creamy.. how in the world.. I do not know. The fried sotong (squid) is crunchy and yet.. soft. The Tom Yum here ruins my expectations for future Tom Yums..

Have tried this shop few times. Food is nice, drinks not quite if you try to find no sugar added drinks. Quite alot of tables for customers and mostly open air location. It is quite crowded place during lunch hours as near by banks and offices. Very hard to find proper parking spaces.

Tomyam noodles was really satisfying ( thick, spicy hot n rich) with plenty of ingredients like slices of fried fish, meatballs, fishballs and fish cake. Meal for 3 including a plate of fried mantis prawns came to RM 66. Any downsides? Young man taking orders appears disinterested. Place looks shabby. Crossing the main road is dangerous. Long story short: come here for the food, not the ambience.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
