The place is small yet beautiful, very cosy and warm. They have plenty of books where you can spent your days reading. It was very relaxing sitting at the table located in the sky well. Bright spot and it was air-conditioned so you won't feel hot. The drink is tasty, strong taste but not too thick. Great experience there.

Very nice and cozy place to sit, draw and relax after a long stroll in the old town. We tried fresh tea and they are very fresh and nice. Found my favorite new drink today called ‘932’ soda which is lime Penang plum, so fresh so good! The place is very lovely❤️

A dreamy book cafe - perfect for a rainy day reading. It’s my favourite cafe by far in Penang, esp. the quaint ambiance. The tranquil surrounding - it is the best place for a book lover to embrace reading for pleasure while having coffee, tea, and dessert. Books are for sale if one is interested to get them back home. Like their lemon poppy seed cookie and cake, the rest were alright with limited items to offer.

A wonderful coffee shop. Beautiful design, each hall is unique in its own way. Delicious coffee and desserts. Besides coffee, you can find hundreds of different books here.

Great ambience. Every nook got books and leisure seats. Their latte is splendid! Their beans blend is soo aromatic and light.

Lovely place at Nook book cafe! Accidentally bump into this place while walking around Penang. I would say that this cafe is quite quiet and cozy for you to hangout or read, with minimal noise and distractions. They have like a corner for you to read or if you want to purchase the books. Simple and cozy ambiance. Matcha 🍵 was good as well! :)

What a tranquil restful place to hang out. As the name suggests you can fine every nook and cranny to curl up and get lost inside a book. There are quiet, hideaway corners that you have have to yourself entirely. The seats are designed to lean back and read not sit up and work, except for one long table, so while it's quiet and has lotsa plug points, it may not be very comfortable to work on a computer for too long

A lovely gem hidden in Georgetown. Nice cozy place. Tons of books to read for free here. A good place to hang around with friends or just to catch up on your reading. The coffee however... Is just so so. Wouldn't come here for the coffee though. Maybe it's there one that I ordered - mocha. Don't serve anything else except coffee, tea n some cakes.

Like the name suggests, it really does offer seclusion from real life with a good selection of books to chose from. Can easily get lost in a book and away from the hustle and bustle of real life. Even though choices of book are aplenty, can't say the same for their menu. They serve coffee, pastries which don't really stand out but sort of compliments the whole reading experience. A great place to spend some quiet quality time with yourself.

A great getaway place in the heart of Georgetown. This cafe is so peceful and ideal for cafe work. Saw many people with laptop. Many plug sockets for power as well. All the book is readable and quite updated. (I picked up Isaac Asimov's 2nd Foundation:New Edition) The drink itself is above average and the price is reasonable. (quite cheap actually) I ordered Coffee Latte and it's only RM10. I will definitely visit this cafe again.

Cozy little cafe located in Georgetown, the interiors are intimate and dim. Food is above average and the service is great. Nice place to take shots for the gram.

A place for book lovers. You can browse rare collection of books and there's a section where you can buy it. A nice and quiet environment for a book cafe. We love it.

I visited every day during my week in George Town. The coffee is exquisite, especially the Bean of the Day over ice. Very ambient, comfortable, and quiet place to enjoy a book, get out of the heat, and drink the best coffee on the island.

A very relaxing and cozy cafe for book and coffee lovers. Highly recommended spot if you're in Penang who wish to wind down a little after a long day, or even just to seek some comfort from the hot outdoor weather. Their Lattes is the way to go if you're after something with milk.

Good piccolo latte, interesting café with a library concept. Clean, comfortable, nice background music, very friendly service. Nice selection of books and magazines. Hidden gem.

I would highly recommend this place for those who would like to sip on good coffee and eat delicious cheesecake while immerse themselves in a good book. Or just would like to work or study in a quiet place. It maybe a bit difficult to find this place since it is away from the main road and the signboard is not obvious but this is a walking distance from the main road.

Quaint little cafe tucked away right in the middle of Georgetown. I’m not usually the cafe-going kind but my friend (who is) dragged me along during one of her recent trips here and I had a surprisingly pleasant time exploring all the little nooks and crannies (see what I did there) of the place. It doesn’t hurt that they serve some decent hot chocolate, cakes and brookies. Won’t mind coming back here again if I have some time to kill. Also, I found out that you can actually purchase the books on their shelves.

Chill ambience in the ever busy streets pf Georgetown that I spend some good hours immersed reading one their books in selection. Their creamy iced chocolate were magnificent with a hint of nuttiness - one of the best iced chocs I’ve ever had. Definitely gonna come for more.

One of my favourite cafe in Penang, the owner is extremely nice and the vibe is amazing, very peaceful and I love all the books. The prices are also very reasonable for this type of establishment and if you get a tea, it comes with refills of water! Went twice already and would go there again

Random find on our last day in Penang. Love the quaint vibes. Thank you for having books for people to read- it’s so rare to read physical books these days. Had the ice matcha latte and banana bread which were great! People there are friendly too 😊

🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
