Curry mee 🍜 Food wise: Great fragrance of curry, it has a wide variety of ingredients, pork blood, tau pok, cuttlefish, pork skin, prawns, and bean sprouts. All of the ingredients were very fresh, sweet, and firm prawns, smooth and soft pork blood that does not have blood stench, chewy and juicy pork skin and cuttlefish, and crunchy bean sprouts. The taste of the noodles was just pure delicious, it was cooked to perfection, containing yellow noodles and bee hoon, it brings the savoury, spicy, and creaminess of the soup into one's mouth. So good! ✨ Ambience wise: Nice eatery! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! 💵 Price wise: 5 RM

Overrated...! Very tasteless and salty Koey teow th'ng for the Penang standard...even worse than good Koey teow soup in Klang valley... Penang Hokkien mee/Har mee also tasteless, prawn was overcooked and hard...Chee Chong fun also very average...mediocre at most. Why this place so high rated? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Surprised that food was lousy after seeing high score review...Maybe only tourists rate it...yeah, touristy spot, so cannot help. In the same area, Kimberly street and Carnavon street night hawker Koey teow soup much much better. For chee chong fun, Red garden stall one was much better.

The prawn paste chee cheong fun is the best I tried so far, the curry mee, and pork noodles and thier Marinated duck with glass intestines are also worth a try, but be ready to stand around to look for seats during breakfast or is always crowded.

In the early morning, Georgetown is quiet. Most shops are closed. Just take the Penang Hokkien prawn Mee. Not an excellent choice but acceptable. I do not like the yellow mee texture and taste. The portion is big and the soup base is average.

Located just behind Chowrasta Market. Coffee Shop with delicious stalls like Koay Teow Th'ng, Hockkien Mee (HKM), Wantan Mee (WM), Chee Cheong Fun (CCF), Curry Mee, and Char Koay Teow. We had the notable ones like the HKM, WM, and CCF. Drinks are Milk Tea and Evaporated Milk Coffee (Kopi Si). RATING - BAD, FAIR, GOOD & EXCELLENT FOOD : Non-Halal LOCATION : Beside Market CHOICE : Good TASTE : Good AVG.VALUE: RM4-6

This is a local coffeeshop with many stalls selling food for breakfast. The curry mee and prawn noodles have very flavour-rich punch. Food sold out before 9:45am.

The best curry noodle 🍜 ever had in Penang. There are 6 stalls in this cafe in which open in early morning that the place is near to morning market. It is quite crowded after 8am as a lot of people comes to have their breakfast in the cafe. Besides, you must try their coffee ☕️ (kopi) is also make you day. 😉 Recommended.

I'm a regular for >2 decades. Best koay teow soup in Penang so far. Prefer it served in vermicelli/beehoon instead. Original owner retired recently but the taste remains the same. Curry mee is also good, especially it's chilli paste. May close on some days unexpectedly.

One of the best breakfast local street foods in Georgetown however the cleanliness of the cafe needs to improve. Wan tan noodle, chee cheong fun, curry mee and koay teow tng are 5 stars My favourite corner to dine is at the back lane of the kopitiam - open air and breezy. Too bad sometimes you have smokers in the crowd

The price level is lower than tourist district e.g. chili's street. The kueh Pie Tee is impressive and curry Mee is quite spicy.

Often visit kopitiam @chowrasta market, delicious black sauce wan tan mee (strongly recommended), curry mee ,( need to go early) , xiao fen lai choo cheong fan, duck meat koay teow teng .... are there for many many years ....

This kopitiam has famous curry mee(famous for its chilli paste) and koay teow soup. Breakfast hour very busy. The curry mee boss seemed a bit arrogant because he didn't give any response when I ordered, well maybe he's just toooo busy preparing the food. But very weird when the curry mee was brought to me there was no chilli paste at all. So what I had was just an ordinary curry mee with nothing surprising. 3/5 Koay teow soup is normal. 3/5 The wantan mee and char koay teow are great, I came back for them many times👍 5/5

Good Penang white curry noodle. Go early morning before market crowd sets in. Reasonable price and good value for your money. Coffee is also good. The place is like an old coffee shop with lots of other food stalls operating inside this shop.

Worth to give it a try while walking around Chowrasta market, not special but still ok.

Delicious and worth your money the curry mee. However didn't quite like the kopitiam rule of charging 50cent for not ordering any drinks. Kopi-O not so great.

Best chee Cheong fun if you prefer for savoury style. Curry mee, prawn mee and kuey teow t’heng are also favourites - must stop whenever we visit Penang.

The curry mee and kway teow thng (ktt) was quite nice especially the latter- good environment and spaced out. The ktt makes for a nice light hearty breakfast. Delicious soupy broth and the sellers are polite and customer oriented unlike some other hawkers we have encountered. I also enjoyed the dry version (instant noodles instead of kway teow) which was seasoned nicely with garlic fragrance. Their fishballs seem freshly handmade and are slightly different from the usual round bouncy commercial ones. Come early for breakfast (before 8am) and have a walkabout the market after your meal.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
