Readers oasis in a bustling Georgetown.A must visit for book worms to buy books, just reading your own magazines or to just have a peaceful mind to study! Noble place that opens daily to students who wants to do their homeworks without any charges. You could enjoy sections of Chinese teas (refillable, btw) Very attentive, friendly staffs, polite.Note that this is an Asian bookstore that will need you to keep your shoes off and put in a shoe bag provided by the book store.Chairs and setting here will keep you sit properly without aching your back.I will definitely come back This is the Buddhism style of soaking wisdom. No WiFi here,to guarantee an offline experience with a plentiful of soul calmness.

Nice tranquil environment to do reading or writing. Has a nice mini zen garden. Serves Chinese tea and multi grain drinks. But doesn't serve food. Great for catching up over tea as well.

Great place and good environment for tea and book lovers, great talking with the customer service team that provide useful information for us to look for what we are looking for❤ Jing Si Tea Farm is situated on Sanyi Mountain facing the Taiwan Strait, in a perfect ecosystem that benefits from a regular fine mist of rain. The 26-hectare farm is cradled amid a forest spreading out over 230 hectares, a veritable oasis with the trees keeping the pollution of urban areas at bay. The farm is managed by a team of farmers who have devoted their lives to this organic venture, applying great skill and constant vigilance to assure that Jing Si Tea is grown and processed naturally. High on the mountain, without electricity or irrigation systems, they rely on grass cultivation: The growing grass retains rainwater and keeps the soil moist, nourishing the tea plants without the need for artificial fertilizers or herbicides. The farm doesn’t use pesticides either, but Mother Nature provides support with flocks of birds that help control the number of pests. Sanyi tea gardens are cultivated entirely by natural ecological organic farming methods, without spraying pesticides, chemical fertilizers and herbicides. Through the cultivation of organic farming methods, organic Jing Si tea is produced, which makes the tea soup taste more sweet and less bitter. Can't wait for the reopening of the renovated cafe in the shop, will be revisiting the shop again

tranquil- It's a place for the soul. Spiritual intake of Jing-Si tea and wisdom of Matter Cheng Yen. Many healthy products from Taiwan. That's why the staffs are so calm and the tea price is only 5 RM. Highly recommended

An outlet of the spiritual Jing Si group that's famous in Taiwan , Hong Kong, Singapore and of course Malaysia. Cosisting of a shop space selling lifestyle goods and books, and a cafe section that sells drinks at an extremely affordable price. The space is quiet and exudes a sense of peace and calm. I came at a time where they played their corporate video, and there was a segment of community singing where everyone around me went on their knees and placed their hands together in prayer. An eye opener.

Beautiful serene atmosphere 😍 amazing tea at a very good price. Nice shop with some interesting items. Gentle, kind and good service. Upon arrival, get the fabric bag to put your shoes in and you can sit down and order via a qr code. The interior design is simple, well thought out and beautiful

Quiet and serene place with great positive vibes. Friendly and kind people run this welcoming book store. They are available to help without being intrusive. Don't worry, they can converse in English. 😁 Hot and cold drinks and tea available. Lovely place to read. No distractions. Lots of books in Chinese about Buddhism. There are lots of quality items for sale that you can browse quietly. No obligation to buy. If you feel inclined to make a small donation, they are truly appreciative. Highly recommended to visit.

We accidentally stumbled into this shop while looking for a speciality tea shop. While the shop itself was founded based on a certain religion, the staff were not pushy at all but took their time to explain the religion as well as background of the different products. At 1.30, we then saw how the religion prays which was a short 5 minute thing. We ordered 3 different teas that were pretty decent. Around MYR11, with a little side to snack on

It’s a serene haven where you can enjoy a calming atmosphere while reading and drinking tea. There are a selection of books and food for purchase. No shoes allowed, they provide a small string bag to keep your shoe.

It’s a nice stop by place if you are around the corner and want to have a break from the hot sun. Calming atmosphere, the place is operated by Tzu Chi and offer drinks at RM11. When you entered, take the shoe bag and put shoes inside to browse around.

First visit and I'm at awe at the ambience and beverage quality. Everyone was focusing on their own tasks, definitely a winner for the people that are looking for a cafe without rowdy crowds. Mind that there's only 6 x2 pax tables 6 x4 pax tables and 2 x6pax tables In the building, hence you might need to ask for sharing or ask the staff on seating at times. Everything is clean, free books to browse on and NO NOISY MUSIC and PEOPLE. It's all about serenity and calm if you're paying a visit. So please respect what this cafe has to offer and enjoy your sip of serenity off the hustling and bustling in PG.

Great, quiet place to read book, study or work. Tea is available at an affordable price, lower than cafe prices. Place is very clean with their shoeless policy. Not recommended for chatting. There isn't any power plug for charging. Edit: there are plugs now but very limited

I absolutely adore the ambiance of this shop - it’s so zen and beautifully decorated with lots of natural wood and colors. And as icing on cake - the staff are so helpful and sweet. + No shoes allowed! Which is a plus and contributes to the cleanliness of this cafe.

I highly recommend this place to feel a complete Zen. You'll learn about this charity, and the quality of tea, oolong tea, is super! The cleanest toilet in town as well! Just everything is great!!!!!

If you're looking for a place to work in peace and quiet or to settle down, this is undoubtedly the best place to go. Their drinks are reasonably priced, the service is great and the interior is clean and almost dust-free.

This is a branch of a Taiwanese chain. Cafe wasn't extensive and book selection focused on Buddhism and wellness. Great selection of Taiwanese food products (especially for vegans or the health focused).

A great place to spend a quite moment with a taste of Organic Oolong tea and a reflection of Buddha teaching. Organic Oolong Tea - RM 5

Nice quiet place near the prestige Hotel. Good place to hide from the sweltering afternoon heat instead of the less interesting glasshouse of the prestige hotel. The teas are relatively affordable at about 8 ringgit.

So calm and peaceful just sitting inside the store. Highly recommended the tea set. All food and drinks were very nice with reasonable price.

🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
