What a fantastic little espresso bar. We're on the hunt for great filter and/or black espresso coffee on our travels (@cup_by_cup_travels), and we are so glad we came across this place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff which is always a bonus. We purchased beans and were offered a free coffee with each bag purchased. Neither of which disappointed, both were great. If you love black coffee, definitely put this place on your list.

The churros was gooey The ice chocolate took forever to arrive yet taste really sour. The staff ask us to choose for sweet/bitter. We chose sweet but it taste so sour. We reached out to the staff about this and they said it was because of the fermented bean that has the sour aftertaste. We only take a few sip it was so sour that we cannot take it anymore and requested them to take it to the kitchen. The staff then only offered to add sugar for us. We say no because the beverage is so sour that we dk how much sugar they gonna add to cover the sour taste. We literally took only a few sip of the drinks. The staff didn’t even offer for a change and rm16 is gone. We used to always order the same 2 item, we did told them it doesn’t taste like how it it before yet they didn’t say anything except adding sugar?????? I’ve tasted sour aftertaste chocolate before but this is like the bean was expired yet it was taken out to serve. This will be the last visit

Cute cafe with cozy atmosphere! Churros were crispy and nice (we had salted caramel sauce), and it wasn’t oily at all. Had Chai latte and caramel latte, and the coffee was so so.

Nestled in away in a small lane slightly hidden amongst the greenery. A boutique barista roasting his own beans and constantly perfecting his brew. The cakes are to die for and I totally forget to take a pic of the key lime pie before taking a bite. The staff are so friendly and up for a chat on anything coffee. Being a self confessed Melbourne coffee snob, highly recommend giving this place a try. Enjoy life 😀

Great coffee and espresso, if ur a coffee fan its really worth dropping by. They have a selection of beans if u buy they give u a espresso based drink for free. Their desserts are a hit too, their key lime pie is delicious as well as their churros. Everything is made in house

In an unassuming location, this cafe has kind and knowledgeable staff/baristas. I tried their dirty latte as per their recommendation, paired with a tasting of their special floral tea sourced directly from a tea leaf farmer. They kindly provided a city guide they made themselves to help me with wander Georgetown. Highly recommended

Nice little coffee shop tucked away beside the temple alongside shops and stalls selling items for temple visitors. Easy to miss behind the screen off foliage shading the front seating area. A range of coffees carefully made - espresso and pour over. The cafe is larger than it looks initially, having a back room as well.

Tucked away near the iconic Guan Yin Temple, this café is in a strategic location, though parking can be a hassle. I was served by an Indian boy who was very kind and detailed in explaining the menu, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s always great when staff take the time to provide such a personal touch. As for the churros, they have a harder, crunchier texture compared to traditional Spanish churros. While some might prefer a softer, more doughy bite, the crispier version offers a unique twist. Personally, I think adding a thick hot chocolate option would elevate the experience, giving it that extra kick of authenticity. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for something different beyond the usual coffee and cake options.

Small cute little cafe. Baristas took great pride in their coffee and were very friendly. Lovely little place for a coffee break. Bonus: the resident (sleeping) cats outside the store gives the cafe an extra special charm.

Heritage building turned coffee shop, the shop is very small and seating is very limited. Pricing and service is fair enough. I enjoyed their churros, crispy outside, and soft inside. The Tropical Punch and Grilled Lemonade is unique and pretty good. I do not like Orange is the New Black as I feel like the coffee taste is too astringent and bitter. They have a minimum one order per person rule which I don't like, but still understandable.

Nice little place tucked away in a lane behind the Goddess of Mercy temple. Pretty small cafe with just a few tables. But if you're lucky to get a seat then just sit back enjoy a superlative cuppa with friendly service and chilled vibes. We tried the cold dirty latte which was outstanding. The coffee was strong, not overpowering, and that right amount of muscle made it a glass of pure joy. We were also given a complimentary coffee bloom extract to sip on. A new for us and pretty enjoyable. We also tried the churros and the key lime pie. The churros, for which we selected the salted caramel dip and cinnamon, were a good match for the coffee. Of the lot we found the key lime pie the weakest. Not bad, just not that great. For the love of my coffee I'm coming back here ☕ 😍👌
