👍👍 The best cake house I have visited. Wouldn’t know this if wasn’t recommended by our hotel owner. Hidden inside an alley and run by a family. They serve some of the finest cakes and the cempedak crumble is a must try. Anyone who love cakes and desserts shouldn’t leave this cafe out in your list. People often mention cake, cakes, cempedak, cafe, good, nice, durian, cheese, taste, friendly,

BEST CAKE HOUSE IN THE WORLD, PERIOD. The cake is so damn delicious, so good that you'll regret ever buying cakes from anywhere else before. The owner is so friendly, the vibe of the cafe itself is great and the whole time there is a new experience for you to treasure. It's a hidden gem in Penang. My personal favourite; Cempedak Cheesecake. 10/10 highly recommended. Edit: Just found out that the cakes in the cafe might be infused with rum and red wine. Muslims, do take note ya!

Probably all the reviews set a very high expectations for us. When I searched for cake on Google I saw this with great review, so we came for try. I looking forward try their mango cheesecake but told it was sold out. Had to try their chempedak cheese cake that they highly recommend Unfortunately I ordered chempedak cake which are quite dry, texture and taste is so so..the more I eat the more disgust I feel but I didn’t tell them😓 sorry to said I don't enjoy it Service: When I walked in, 1 lady staff is quite friendly and serve me. Environment: I can't accept having a cat next to me when I'm “dining indoors” (Eventho I have a pet, I’ll respect it and not bring it indoors for dining)

Such a hidden gem! We got the mango cheesecake and passionfruit orange cake. They are both so good and the portion is huge! Will be back to try more. Can also play with the owners' cats. The owner boss is also very nice and we can see her passion in managing this cafe.

Been coming to this place for years, especially when I'm looking for a variety of cakes. They sell cakes both by the slice and as whole cakes. My favourite is still the cempedak cheesecake, with durian coming a close second. Their pesto pasta is nice too. On a separate note, I also found the design of the floor tiles interesting.

Lovely shop. Located in a street which not really busy. Got parking space. Price wise affordable with the size of the cake. Bought Cempedak Cheese, so sweet on my personal opinion but my friends love it. Durian Fresh Cream so good. Love it so so much! The durian paste and fresh cream such a perfect combo. When enter the cafe, the strong smell of cempedak filled up the space. Love it!

Found this cake shop and really attracted by the photo of cakes shared by others. I was wondered if it was a cake shop as it is very nyonya style when looking at the door and sign board. The first thing I noticed when entering the shop is the variety of different cakes displayed on the glass panel. It took me a while to look and decide the cake, luckily the staff able to provide recommendation based on my preference. Able to order their chocolate moist cake and matcha latte. The cake was dripped with warm chocolate sauce and it was sweet for me but insanely delicious, and it really matched with matcha latte. Highly recommend to all the dessert lovers to try their cakes.

Also known as Nely's Passion Heart cafe in the heart of Georgetown. Famous for their homemade cakes as well as jawa mee recommended by friend. Jawa mee has 2 versions to choose, with prawn crackers or fried enoki. Equally satisfying portion wise and delicious. Finish off with cempedak cheese cake that's lip-smacking and not overly sweet. Will be back for durian cheese cake. Cat lovers might have the chance to meet the tubby resident cat, Pineapple. Limited seating, lesser foot traffic in evening/night, so it's better option if you want to enjoy chit chat over a nice meal/cake.

A wide variety of cakes available. We ordered their Durian Cake, Cempedak Crumble and Strawberry Cheesecake. Loved their Durian cake because there were real creamy durian inside the came so it was super good! Their cempedak crumble had some cempedak pieces too. However the only complaint with the Cempedak crumble is that it was a little dry when it comes to the crumble part.

A very cosy cafe. The cakes are one of the best in Penang. They’re very generous with their slices. The cream is also very thick. I personally like the Peanut Butter Banana cake. I highly recommend trying this. I’m not a big fan of banana but this cake is something else. The cafe is also pretty quiet. Not sure if it has always been like this, or it has yet to go viral.

Tried the cempedak cake as promoted by other reviewer. It's good but I don't think I will crave for more. The tiramisu is too sweet to my liking. And queue is not meaningful because as long you informed the lady behind the counter 1st, you will be served 1st even though there are others in front of the queue.

Top cake house in my list. Homey environment. Highly recommend their yam coconut, durian mudpie, pomelo cheesecake and cempedak cheesecake. They have other cheesecake with unique flavours such as kaya pandan and pulut inti, which are equally good. Couldn't emphasize enough how good is their cakes. Just stop by and try. Price wise quite wallet friendly, as compared to many others.

Ordered Rum & Raisin Cheese (RRC) and Cempedak Crumble (CC). RRC: The chocolate mousse & sponge and raisin are all soaked with strong rum 🥃, the raisin is plump and juicy! You won't feel boring biting into crushed almond. CC: Apparently it's an innovation from the original cempedak cake which tranformed into a pastry👍 Feel so satified with cempedak pulp in every bite! 😍 Definitely a good alternative to C* House! Painted in vibrant yellow colour, it's easily identified though hidden in an alley. 😎

As you can see from my pics, I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety of cakes using local (cempedak and durian) and imported fruits (plum and apple). I ordered the plum cake and cempedak crumble - it tasted as good as it looked. This place is different from the usual hipster cafes, they serve old school cakes with REAL HUGE fruit chunks which grandma will approve of!

Their Cempedak Cheese Cake is the best! The cheese was not too overwhelm and not too sweet. Only taste the sweetness from the cempedak. You can tell that their cake are homemade and only use high quality ingredients. I’ll definitely repeat! Their Lemon Cheese Cake (5/5) also was so delicious. Everything is well balanced, the cheese the sweetness, and the lemon. Love it! I tried their Pamelo Cheese Cake (4/5) before though I could still taste the bitterness a little so I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like it.

Overall the taste of Lemon Meringue ok. Just the biscuit consider thick and hard to bite😅 I like sour, so add the meringue, the combination perfect. The service is good and the shop keep coming of different race clients and different countries.

Randomly search in Google Maps and found this nice cake shop. Located at the alley and you won’t be expect there will be a cafe there. Cake is good and it was full house during my last visit. Can drop by to take away if you are nearby. #cake #dessert #cafe #coffee #penang #georgetown

We had a great time here celebrating Mother’s Day . The service here is super good . The staff are friendly and helpful . We ordered 4 slices of cakes and 4 beverage and only cost us Rm90 over which we think that is reasonable. We wanted to try their nasi lemak but they have sold out at 1pm . Then we wanted to order mee Jawa but have to wait for more than 30 mins .. so we didn’t manage to try it . But we are glad the staff informed us earlier the food will be served late due to high order . We love all their cakes . It is so tasty and not very sweet . The texture is soft and fluffy . This place is really small and is always crowded and is air conditioned. This restaurant is clean too . Overall rating 9/10 .

Nice cosy cafe for cake 🍰 very wide selection of cake and all cake are delicious 😋 the price is reasonable. Their cempedak Crumble is nice, Highly Recommended 👍 but need to wait during peak hours. Parking spaces is easy to find. Surely will visit again to try other cake. Need to find seat and order ourselves at counter. Free refill water provided.

We got cempedak cheese, carrot cake and chocolate mint cake. I find the flavours quite special compared to the others and highly recommend the cempedak cheese. However, I would prefer the chocolate mint to not be heated up ad all the chocolate melted and does not incorporate with the cake well. Atmosphere was great though.

A nice cosy cafe for cakes and drinks. Discovered this place online and it just have chill vibes and a nice selection of cakes. The cake portion is generous and very nice. Love the Mango Cheesecake. It doesn't feel gelat and it feels more Cheese than cream. And they have a cute cat named QQ

Love this place and the cakes taste very awesome. The cake I love the most carrot cake, a lot of ingredients are in it. The people there are very friendly and take their time to introduce you about their things. I'm also enjoy the cat playing with me.🤣

Price is reasonable, but the taste anneh anneh loh, nothing to shoutout. If u r craving for fresh durian flesh cake, don’t try it here cos they use something like durian kuih and the taste, texture, smell indeed like durian kuih. Cheese cake doesnt have strong flavor…. Overall this is just a decent cake house in my opinion.

Tried Hummingbird and Americano. Coffee is okay but the cake is quite interesting. The Hummingbird Cake feels like a variation from the Carrot cake, less spice version I guess. Main flavor of my cake includes, banana, apple, cinnamon and butter. The butter cream melt quite quickly though, would be better if it was thicken in its consistency. Went there after 2 months for Russian Cheesecake and Lemon xx (sorry forgotten the name :p), the Russian cheese was too sweet for me but the Lemon one is surprisingly good.

They have variety of cakes and all look nice. The cakes we ordered are all delicious. Especially the mango cheesecake, my fav thus far. Will definitely come again.

Highly recommended for the coffee, cake and java mee. It's the best I have ever tasted and indulged. The hazelnut and caramel latte are just superb. Pandan and gula melaka cake is marvellous. A generous serving of Java mee with lots of ingredients such as prawn crackers, one hard boiled egg, fried bean curd and thick gravy top-up with grinded chilies and lime makes you asking for more.

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. 🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
