πŸ‘πŸ‘ A beautiful spot in Georgetown! We were lucky that the park had been decorated for a festival and it was beautiful, colourful and absolutely stunning! Great place to get some shade or watch the locals play basketball on a court next door People often mention park, Nice, festival, area, space,

There is not a single bench there. But a green lung in this UNESCO core heritage site means more than anything else. Lawn was well trimmed. Trees provided some good canopy to cool the heat. Nice.

This used to be a small Malay kampong in the early days of George Town. There were many in this area, unfortunately most of them have disappeared. Then years ago it was a small green area where in the late afternoon / evening a small (thieves) market was held. The new park is a much better use of this space. Just to sit and watch the world go by. Could do with more spaces like this in George Town.

This is a garden in the busy town of Georgetown. It is UNESCO heritage site, most of the time it becomes the one of the venue for the Georgetown festival or events. Tall trees provide good shade even during the afternoon. Nice landscaping. Lawn was well trimmed. Recently there are mid autumn festival decorations at the park. Paid street parking available next to the park. It's walking distance to various Georgetown famous and iconic places of attraction like the khoo kongsi, mural arts and etc..

Armenian Park is a charming public park located in the heart of George Town, Penang, nestled between Acheen Street and Armenian Street, with the Penang Youth Centre bordering it on one side. This serene park offers a refreshing green space amidst the bustling inner city of George Town, replacing the former Acheen Street Flea Market that once occupied the area. The historical roots of this location trace back to the mid-19th century when it was known as Kampung Che Long, a Malay village. In Armenian Park, a magical sight, Lanterns aglow, like stars at night. Come, gather 'neath the moon's sweet grace, A wondrous full moon, lighting up the space. With colors vibrant, they paint the air, Guiding your way, a luminous affair. In this park's embrace, let your heart swoon, As we celebrate the rising full moon's tune. Join the festivities, let joy take flight, In Armenian Park, beneath the moon's soft light. A festival of lanterns, a vibrant display, Come visit soon, don't let it slip away!

This park is a delightful haven, seamlessly blending nature with recreational amenities. The lush greenery and well-maintained landscapes offer a serene escape from urban hustle. Well-designed walking trails provide a scenic journey, complemented by strategically placed benches for relaxation. The playgrounds cater to children's varied age groups, ensuring a family-friendly environment. Picnic spots with ample seating and picturesque views make it an ideal spot for gatherings. However, maintaining cleanliness could be more stringent, and occasional crowded weekends may affect the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, it's a wonderful park that caters to diverse preferences, offering a tranquil retreat for nature lovers and a vibrant space for families.

This park has many cats. It's great to visit at almost any time of day. The cats usually are absent during the hot hours of the afternoon. Apart from that they're quite active, friendly, but mostly looking for food since there are frequent feeders. Aside from the cats, I guess it's a good place for a walk, a date, casual skating, snacking, and just enjoying the greeneries. It would be better if there are some public workout equipment and installations.

Simple park. Small but there is a walking/jogging path with some bridges. Popular with families with kids. Lots of kids on the playground on afternoons. They use various decors according to the season/holiday. Aside from the playground and the decor, there's really nothing much here. For nature lovers who want more, the botanic garden is the closest big nature park.

Your go-to lepak place 24/7. Go there morning, you have people doing events. Go there at night, you see people chilling. Loved the place a lot.

Great place to relax but avoid 8 am because of the employee leafblowing every day. Better earlier when it is still cool and quiet or after 6pm.

Came across this wonderful park on our way back to hotel. It was decorated nicely for the upcoming Lunar new year. Clean and great surroundings, I loved the calm ambience. We spent half an hour to walk around and taking photos. It's a beautiful spot to chill if you come by the area.

Hardly a "park" so much as a small space with grass, some benches, and a basketball court. Not ideal for exercise since there's barely any shade, but it's OK for relaxing in the evening when the sun is going down
