I like this place due to its aesthetic. Got sephora, winter warmer, godiva, 4fingers, bath and body works, cotton on ☺️ there are always booth and their center. The old mansion is just lovely.

Despite trying to position itself as an upmarket mall with prestigious brands amongst its retail outlets, there seems to be a lack of crowd even during weekends. This could be due to its close proximity to Gurney Plaza - which definitely is one of the most popular mall in Penang. Nevertheless, Paragon has a nice layout and easy to walk about. Not much of a crowd when you browse so its still pleasant to spend some time here. Parking is quite narrow though.

A big mall located the beach. It has everything you need, a TGV cinema etc. The shops ranges from high end to mid range shops which is good to cater every need from different walks of life. ATM was not an easy find though. Only found 1 near the Christmas tree. Architectural design of this mall is also great.

A next level of luxurious Mall located at Gurney drive sea front. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it surrounds St. Joseph’s Novitiate, a 1925 chapel which is a World heritage institution. The Mall is a 9-storey building integrated with luxurious residential complex and executive offices' tower. Latest trends in fashion can be shopped here. There is a grocery super market called Jaya Grocery located in the LG floor. Cinema facility, parking facility and lots of food restaurants available here making it a perfect place for an outing.

This mall look a little dead despite it's glamour name. Many stores are closed. Washroom is clean tho.

High-end stores on the first floor. When we came by, there was a thailand festival going on just outside the mall in the back. They have some great stores such as Nitori or MLB. Also, some nice views from the top floor looking out.

It is an amazing huge and modern shopping mall! You can find anything you want from all around the world!! It’s very westernized. There are many foods place also on the upper floor! You can eat cheap local meals! On the other hand you can enjoy great drinks on the cool bar! It is really cool mall so you can enjoy and find favorite shops!!

We visited this mall on Gurney Drive and enjoyed its upmarket feel. It's nice to walk around here to window shop and there are some nice restaurants too such as Putien and Haidilao.

I would avoid this mall simply because its very difficult to use its lift to take my mother in law in her wheelchair. It took us exactly 34 minutes to get a lift from level 7 to our car park.

Update: The celebrations, they keep coming. Barely have the Christmas carols been sung and the decorations for Chinese New Year are beginning to adorn the big hall and many shops. And they look good. We had some icecream at Baskin Robbins (pretty good!!). The service at the Vinstella shop was outstanding and the staff member on duty was extremely patient and wore it with a smile. We found the Kapten Batik showroom classy, but a tad expensive. Older review: Nice mall. More upmarket than its neighbour, Gurney Plaza. Has some really good global brands as well as local biggies. The food-court has been refurbished recently and looks neat and clean. TGV Cinemas are also a much better bet than the cinema at the neighbour's. We like the Succulents shop, Bath and Body Works, Decathlon, the new Nitori showroom, and the massive H&M. The Moody Cow cake shop here is wonderful with a lot of character and Napoleon for company. Bonjour Garden in the basement is also a great coffee shop. We visited the Brussels Beer Cafe a few times. Good collection of beers, but service levels need to pick up. Will make it a better watering hole. Jaya Grocer, also in the basement of the sprawling mall is a great value add. It is very well stocked though pricier than Lotus's. Could improve on the bread collection. The Christmas decorations up currently add to the festive feel of the season.

Luxury mall. Limited halal eateries. More shop lots are coming soon . Nice ambience, btw. Love the outer design of the building.

Lovely place to go shopping. It has basically every shop you can think of. From restaurants, food courts, utility stores, electronic devices distributors, clothing stores, shoe shops, you name it! One of the biggest malls too.

There aren’t many outdoor parking lots here but you will certainly find an abundance of parking space in the indoor multi-storey and basement parking so bad weather will not be an issue. There are events on the ground floor every now and then. The mall is constructed in a way that there are some natural lighting and good air ventilation inside to refresh the customers. Food-wise, there are a lot of cafe and restaurants outside and even a food court on the higher level as well as on the basement level. This mall emits a high-end aura for those who like to walk around in a luxury world of their own after a busy day. We love the TGV cinema here and have visited it quite a number of times. The staffs are friendly and the movie halls are always clean and neat. Overall, it is definitely worth giving this place at least a visit if you get the chance.

High-end mall with lots of mid-to-luxury retailers. The Mall has a number of architecture and lighting deco features that make for good photos. Parking is no problem as it has its own parking floors.

A nice upmarket shopping mall with many outlets including a number of international brands such as H&M and Decathlon. There is an impressive IMAX equipped multiplex on the top floor. There are also plenty of F&B outlets such as Putien and Haidilao. Good place to spend the day.

One of the few malls along Gurney Drive, the mall was built around a heritage building of St Joseph Novitiate. This mall is occupied with much tenants such as Jaya Grocer, BookXcess, TGV Cinemas, Sushi Zanmai, Flip Burger, Daiso, Nitori etc. The environment inside is quiet with not much customers on weekdays, but on weekends it can get quite crowded. The air conditioning it seems to be very low, it was quite warm.

There are a variety of shops in the mall that caters to everyone’s needs (from expensive brand to the more affordable ones). We enjoyed shopping at H&M, Decathlon, Jaya Grocer and Book Excess. And dined at Hai Di Lao and Auntie Anne. The upscale shops are located at the lower levels and it seems the environment become more quiet and there are more vacant lots as we move up the levels. Parking is affordable.

The mall got to edit its opening hours on the web. Arrived at 7.55pm, Wednesday and majority of its shops are shut or half shut not allowing customers in. Only a few on the lowest floor like Jaya Grocer, Pharmacy and Daiso are still open. Would have gone to another mall if we were aware earlier. We had limited time to hunt for gifts. We ended up leaving empty handed.

We held hands, we talked and talked, we shared ice cream and we shared Belgian frappucino. Time went fast with her in Paragon, I wish I could do this all over again with her. I wish I could hold her hands again, and push her hair back behind her ears. Gurney Paragon is a place where we became closer, and it was a place where we departed from each other. It's a special place, and I will think of her whenever I visit this place.

One of the best shopping malls in Penang. It had a variety of shops, like Nitori, H&M, Daiso, Auntie Anne etc. The ambiance was tranquil and was never overcrowded. It's at the Guerney Drive and easily accessible.

A slightly more upmarket mall with upscale products. Not many restaurants compared to Gurney Plaza or Quennsbay Mall. Not so kids friendly & elderly people friendly. Decalthon & Nitori has opened as big tenant here recently. The uniqueness of this mall they still mainthe Heritage front of the original colonial building, giving it a nostalgia looking mall.

I was shopping on a Sat morning before the crowd came in. Felt like having the whole mall to myself. Clean. Went to process my prepaid Sim cards at a Yes 4G shop and shopped at Caring Pharmacy at the basement. The mall was always very clean. Nice to shop in such an environment post-Covid.

For all the pretentious brands here like Victoria's Secrets, it was truly a bad sacrifice of the historic College General by the corrupt Catholic Church. The root of all evil is the love of mammon. The greenery continues to be lost to more senseless development by the corrupt State..

Good place. I came here for the ANTA Basketball Clinic Programme. Nearby here have many restaurants. I ate lunch in "justfood" foodcourt. There's plenty of food stores also available in Gurney Plaza. The Decathlon pretty interesting and high-tech self checkout. There's built-in RFID inside the barcodes. So you can just out in the self checkout basket and it will automatically add it. Check it out!

Lovely place. Rakyat penang selalu datang sini kalau nak Window shopping or habiskan masa. Anak muda selalu lepak sini. Ada wayang kt paragon walk (top floor). Almost all type of shops is here food to furniture, u name it. Currently they are holding a heritage some kind of event at the ground floor. BookXcess is also here but is quite difficult tu find as it is situated on the building but totally worth it. Paragon mall is huge so u gonna spend some time over here. Next to paragon mall is paragon plaza.

A small restaurant serving good quality coffee at a reasonable price. Current restrictions (Aug 2021) prevent dining in but the menu looks very interesting and I look forward to trying this place. I can recommend the home made sausages.

Definitely it would be most Classy with five star Mall ever in Penang City with looking elegant of Heritage site and grandeur ambiences of top level brand's available with colossal options..

Stop wasting time to go shopping like this 50% of the shop are close no people. Looking for a Vietnamese restaurant can't even find it. So we ask the information counter she told us level 5 beside food court. Can't even see one. Go gurney plaza 10 x times more things to see and not so boring. Don't know who's the person who design the gurney paragon so messy not easy to find shops. One of the top 10 messy shopping mall.

Location ideal. At Gurney Drive ~ tourist spot. May not have so many shops as Gurney Plaza, it has enough outlets for consumers to walk around and shop.

  • 5/5 Teo Jing Y. 8 months ago on Google
Another shopping paradise other than Queenbays Mall or Gurney Plaza. The area of this shopping mall can't be considered as large, but there are many floors, which is a norm in Penang island. The parking space is slanted. Just that the entrance into inner parking lot is a bit confusing as the signboard showing direction is too small written. There is Just Food corner inside for those who want to save budget on meals. The Book Xcess is worth a visit.

Decent mall with a good variety of shops yet not too huge. Great for a quick shopping session and if you know what you’re looking for. Went there at evening time and footfall was quite low. Had shops like Mr DIY, cotton on, H&M, Typo. The higher floors were quite vacant though.. My personal favourite was Succulent Shop located at L4. Had a good variety of healthy succulents along with other plants. Succulents looked stunning as seen in photos uploaded

Gurney Paragon is one of my family's go-to places for some good shopping, good eating, Starbucks, 😁😁, and most importantly, for the festive Christmas decor that they have this year. Plus, we frequently get our groceries at Jaya.

  • 4/5 Hema D. 1 year ago on Google
The place for all the exclusive brands. They have a TGV upstairs (L8) and the courtyard is linked to the Straits & Oriental Museum. It's far more quiet than Gurney Plaza so it's perfect for window shopping - minus the crowd. There is a Jaya Grocer downstairs - most of the time you'd be able to find imported goods and groceries at great prices here. You can also find the only Godiva (sans dine-in) in the North of Malaysia here.
