A beautiful restaurant where you get complimentary breakfast of the Kimberly Hotel. The building dates back to the colonial times with high ceilings and swishing fans. The decoration is old signs, books and toys. It is a really pleasant place to start the day in.

This gem is just waiting to be uncovered. Ordered the Chicken Kunyit of which is flavorful and Fish Permanganate is tender and permanganate fruit added some crunch to it. The pumpkin soup is creamy but the sago is a little too sweet for my liking. The portion are pretty decent for set lunch. Service wise, on par with hotel level. Will come back again.

Dinner set was perfect and not very expensive but terrific quality and the waiter was very kind and the atmosphere was very antique as Auction Room implies ,... This lunch set and dinner set is quite useful choices. With normal restaurants prices, you get five star hotel services. Very satisfying,...

We were here trying the foods as the other reviews were all positive. We ordered grilled fish with pomegranate sauce and the Kunyit Chicken rice set. The price is only RM 20 each. Come with either soup of the day or dessert. Overall, we enjoyed the foods and the ambient here. You can try!

Each set per Rm20 +/-2. One main + one dessert/soup of the day. During our visit, the soup is pumpkin soup dessert is sago gula melaka. Both taste goods. Main is average. Chicken lagsana is bad. Fish is better. Can’t complain for this price and area. Environment clean and cozy. Free drinking water.

Nice ambience. Food ok as option of mix Asian. Sago dessert is tasty. The water served has a strong chlorine taste. Soup is a bit too liquid and if creamier would be better.

Very cozy atmosphere accompanied by very good service by staff members, the breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing with limited variety. However, the grilled fish and the desert I had at lunch are phenomenal.

Been here a few times and always pleased with the food. Set Lunch came with mushroom soup (my favourite!). Great flavours, tasteful presentation and ambience. Was here with 8 friends and Waiter Jamal serviced us efficiently. Will be back again.

The service was really great. Mr. Jamal accommodated our request to place our order before checking out so we can immediately head to the airport after having our breakfast.

Everything was great. They have a 2 and 3 course menu plan which are very reasonable and great value. Lots of selection with Asian and western food. Lovely service. Nice dining room. Really recommend.

The waiter, seems to be the one and only waitering, makes really good flat white. I came here twice for the flat white. Also very efficient and attentive. I had fish and chips for lunch and onion soup for dinner. Food is served quite promptly and presented well. Food and beverage are reasonably priced. The restaurant has a nice and quaint ambience too. Great place to hang out.

Really enjoy the staff service who is very friendly and attentive. The food is beyond expectation for the price I pay. We stayed for 2 nights so I would say for the breakfast choice- there is bread toast section, porridge section, food (watermelon) section, green salad,and the main course series (nasi lemak fried kunyit chicken and potato curry for day 1, and kuey tiaw with omelette ham baked beans for day 2)

As I walked up to the cafe, I could already hear the clinking of silverware and plates from inside. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and piping hot pastries filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. Once inside, I was greeted by the friendly smiles of the staff. I took a seat at a table and looked over the menu, taking in the cozy atmosphere of the space. After making my selections, I settled in to wait for my orders.Once I received my food, I was amazed at the flavorful and delicious dishes. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food made.The experience a truly unforgettable one. As I finished my meal, I couldn't help but feel satisfied and happy.

Incredible dinner. Soup and main of grilled chicken lemongrass with mushroom and tomato on spaghetti. Piping hot too! It was delicious and I am pleasantly full Cool aircon is refreshing after the heat outdoors. Nice jazz music. Service is excellent by the attentive gentleman. It feels like a lovely step back in time to the Colonial heritage of Georgetown.

Food was delicious, cheap and big portion. Best of all, the service was superb. The waiter was super friendly and respectful. Will definitely come here again.

We had Valentines dinner , the food was superb and the service was extraordinary especially omar who assist us with the booking and provide a good service, only the hardest part is their car park is limited.

Buffet breakfast Thought of having the breakfast set, but end up have the buffet breakfast after knowing that the price is similar with breakfast set. The buffet was RM18(nett) per pax. Only a few Ringgit more as compare with normal full meal (Food + Drink). It value for money. The buffet breakfast is simple and just nice. The food available contain(maybe subject to change): A.3 egg porridge (Egg, Salted Egg and preserved egg, chicken meat). The taste not bad especially topping with the mini ikan bilis(Anchovies). B.Fried Beehoon C. Egg D. Chicken ham E. Spring row F. Baked Bean G. Bread H. Orange jus, coffee, tea and plain water. Environment is comfortable and cosy. Nice coloniel decoration. Place is clean. The staff service is very good.

Food overall was very good. Great coffee.. Service was very good too. Chicken parma was good.. a bit dry..a bit more sauce would be very good.. definitely will be a repeater. The price was average.

This cafe housed in a heritage building has interesting cute decor. Set lunch are available at an affordable price, with a choice of Western or Chinese menu.

Nice ambiance for a restaurant that is part of a hotel. Food on the pricy side but can taste the quality ingredients. Had chicken pomodoro, nice as it is but I had better chicken pomodoro elsewhere. Seems to be missing umami. The mushroom soup is cooked fresh, not powdered but lacks the umph. Wife had the rice set and comes with a generous piece of chicken.

Nice internal deco. Prompt and attentive service from the waiters. Waited a while for the food, portion was slightly larger than the average. Parking was limited outside the restaurant so we parked behind the restaurant, looks like private parking behind the hotel.

Beautiful restaurant with affordable food that's well worth the price. Tried the mushroom chicken which was tender and rich in flavour. Soup of the day was pumpkin soup and it tasted better than I expected. Staff was super responsive. Great ambience and highly recommended to try.

The food is good especially the satay..the restaurant really depict some interesting fusion of malaysian local style of cuisine with western one... The service is great as well..worth the value.
