I
was
looking
for
a
quiet
place
to
do
my
work
because
my
parents'
place
was
too
noisy
due
to
ongoing
renovations
by
the
neighbors.
My
sister
suggested
this
cafe
because
she
came
here
to
study
for
her
uni
exam
years
ago,
and
it
was
nice.
Since
it's
within
walking
distance,
I
thought
why
not,
let's
support
a
local
cafe.
It's
located
on
the
sixth
floor
of
Gurney
Paragon
Mall.
Upon
entering,
I
noticed
a
sign
stating
there
is
a
90-minute
dining
time
limit.
I
didn't
think
much
of
it
and
proceeded
to
order
my
coffee.
After
finding
a
comfortable
place
to
settle
down,
I
realized
all
the
power
outlets
were
labeled
with
"Do
not
use"
tape.
Understandably,
electricity
bills
can
be
expensive
for
businesses,
so
I
shrugged
it
off
since
my
laptop
was
fully
charged
and
could
last
a
long
while.
About
two
hours
in,
I
decided
to
order
another
drink
since
I
planned
to
stay
longer.
I
was
told
that
I
had
overstayed
my
welcome
and
could
only
stay
for
another
15
minutes,
even
if
I
chose
to
order
another
drink.
It
seemed
like
the
time
limit
was
a
strict
rule
regardless
of
the
time
of
day.
I
would
have
understood
if
it
were
a
weekend
or
if
there
were
other
customers
around,
but
it
was
a
weekday
afternoon,
and
I
was
the
only
customer.
What
a
buzzkill!
I
thanked
the
barista
and
quickly
packed
my
stuff
and
left
discontented.
Like
others
have
reviewed
here,
the
coffee
was
neither
good
nor
bad.
The
ambiance
was
meh,
the
air
conditioning
was
warm,
and
the
place
felt
dated.
I
can't
comment
on
the
food
because
I
didn't
have
any
(and
I
was
relieved
I
didn't
order
anything,
honestly).
The
barista
wasn't
particularly
nice
or
unpleasant;
she
was
just
doing
her
job.
I
don't
recommend
coming
here
unless
you
literally
have
nowhere
else
to
go.
There
is
no
selling
point.
If
you're
looking
for
a
place
to
work
or
study
for
long
hours,
there
is
a
co-working
space
with
free-flowing
coffee
a
10-minute
walk
away
from
here.
It's
a
bit
expensive
for
entry,
but
I
went
there
after
this
disappointment,
and
it
was
honestly
worth
it.
If
you're
looking
to
cafe-hopping,
or
finding
a
place
to
read,
or
hanging
out
with
friends,
there
are
better
places
in
the
surrounding
area,
and
I
can
promise
you
that.
