One of the best nasi kandar I ever eaten in Penang so far. My grandma was from Penang so my standard is high and I find their gravy tastes exactly like how a good kuah campur curry should taste. To me this place is better than line clear. Also learned that they close at 4-4:30pm for rest daily. Service is ok, place is normal like a mamak place. If you are not a heavy eater please ask for less rice to avoid wasting food. This picture is with half rice portion and ‘kuah banjir’. It is seriously sedap and highly recommended! 👍

Get the - mutton curry - Omelette - Fried Chicken - Fried fish - squid curry - cabbage vegetables On a decent sized mound of rice with an extremely generous portion of multiple gravies only the man knows what the right proportion is. Never mind the grungy table or the questionable hygiene of the plates. Trust me these guys are so good, even the health inspector eats here, even if deep in his logical mind he may wanna fail these guys. And immerse yourself in the culture of food that Nasi Kandar represents - the migration of cuisine from India and fusion with local ingredients and creating its own unique flavour profile that is second to none.

We arrived at 6.45pm and this place was bustling. Patrons were queuing for food till the service road. Service was quick and had plenty of options. I had the mutton curry, fried chicken livers, and gizzards and omelette. The rice was drenched in all types of curries before serving. The plate looked menacingly messy, but every spoonful was a flavour bomb. The sauces and the dishes complimented each other very well. Wash the food down with a glass of ice lemon tea, and you will not regret it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This was once my go to nasi kandar place in Penang. I remembered that their mix of curries hit that perfect sweet spot with their punchy aromatics and its well balanced taste combining savoury, sweetness and that appetising tang. Today I was lucky to get a parking spot and the queue was shorter than normal so I decided to have a taste of the nasi kandar again. I ordered mine with ayam goreng, telur bawang, bendi, daging and kambing. Kuah campur is a must and the jockey readily oblige to my request. Immediately I can tell that their curries remained faithful to the taste I had in the yesteryears. The champion here truly lies in its kuah. The ayam goreng here was a little dry but that was how it was prepared all the while. If you enjoy a juicy and tender ayam goreng, this dish may not appeal to you. The daging and kambing both weren't too chewy and the tastes weren't too bad albeit not the best I had. The other areas of improvement are the conditions of the shop. It was rather poorly ventilated and it can get very stuffy dining in. Needless to say you'll reek of nasi kandar as you leave the eatery. Overall I was pleased with the classic nasi kandar tastes that was offered here and while the dishes may not be the best in town, the curries and kuah were great.

Nothing special about the food, and difficult to park.

This is Indian Muslim and looks to be a very popular place. The only drawback is parking, so either take a GRAB or motorcycle. When you order get a little of all the sauces, and then have many choices of eggs: fried, boiled, and salty. Worth a visit and very local.

I'm lucky for this time because no long queue during my visit. I try my usual menu for nasi kandar fried chicken, mix gravy, salted egg, lady finder and papadom. Love the hot rice when is serve. For the mix gravy is a pure mamak style but not spicy. Fast service but depends on time and situation. Limited parking space so becareful when u park around this location. Price is reasonable. Overall it's ok for me.

Tasty food but not much of choices. Price is ok. But the shop only accept cash, literally cash, no QR or Transfer etc.

Looks an ordinary restaurant but the food says otherwise. It's very tasty, although the food variation is not a lot but not a big issue. Nasi kandar fan should give this place a try

One of the best nasi kandar in Penang. I prefer eating here as it is located near the 1st bridge. So no need to drive deep into Georgetown and face the traffic. Food is exceptional. Service was good but they accept cash only. Parking is limited. Might be hard to find one especially during peak hours and holidays.

Everythings is great - the food, flavors, and services. but the payment method? Stuck in the past., Cash only in this day and age? Come on! Not everyone carries cash anymore. and its a hassle to walk to an ATM just to pay for the meal. If there is nothing to hide, why not move forward with technology? its 2025-time to adapt!

I was there during puasa which is fasting month and the Q is at 7 meters but can see they serve very fast with good manner.
