One of our top three dim sum place in the island. Ordering is simple. You get your choice of table, then head over to the counter where the fresh array of dim sum dishes awaits you. Select what you like, and they will place it on your tray. Head back to your table, dig in, relax and enjoy. Its not only the food that is good, its the overall ambience and service combined that makes it a pleasurable experience everytime we dine here - especially the cool and windy sea breeze from nearby.

The dimsum was very fresh, and most of them were excellent. The Pao was amazing. The service was prompt. If you have to wait, they'll inform you when a table is available. Parking was easy, at the lot right next to the restaurant. The restaurant is also very open and cool. Perfect breakfast spot. Price is a little on the high side.

Nice fresh dimsum. The Salted Egg Yolk Pau is especially good. Siu Mai, and other steamed items are delectable. The Fish Ball is full of flavour, and of the correct texture. Char Siew Soh is mediocre. And the Egg Tarts are not particularly something to rave about - the filling is too hard, and the crust should have been richer and flakier. The ambience is typical of Malaysian Chinese restaurants. Loud. The place is not air-conditioned, so it can be rather humid. Parking is easy, just beside the restaurant.

Dim Sum is pretty decent. Parking is easy enough at the parking lot right next to the restaurant. Ambiance is cool and open air. Order the steamed dim sum straight from the steaming station (they'll give you an order card for the bill later) the fried/baked stuff can be ordered from the counter next to it.

I had one of the amazing dim sum here. All of the food served was fresh and delicious while the service was good. I went around lunch time,12.30pm but most of the dim sum were finished. Advisable to go early morning to try everything and avoid a long queue.

It has been a very nice culinary experience! Dim Sum are very good and there are many types, more than I can eat in just one section. I will definitely come back to try the rest! Ying Yong Hor Fun was very nice too.

Siew Mai with Fish Roe Indian curry Siew Mai Steam BBQ Pork Bun Baked Bacon roll Prawn Rice Flour Roll Steam Golden Lava Bun Deep Fried Carrot Cake Prawn Dumpling Stuffed Phoenix Dumpling Egg Tart 富二代 Fu Er Dai 📍7, Jln Sultan Ahmad Shah, George Town, 10050 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia 🍜 Food wise: Delicious but like most dim sum, might feel greasy very fast too and the bacon rolls were pretty salty. But maybe that was why they had such wonderful tea and hot water refilling station! In general, all items were really fresh, flavour was above average, what needs to be tender were tender, what needs to be soft were soft and all were served hot! One's favorites here will be the golden lava bun and the prawn rice flour roll! Love the softness of the flour, the delicious sauce, and the tasty garnishes. The lava bun was not too messy, not too sweet and flavour was good! ✨ Ambience wise: Great place! Very cooling and there are self serviced hot water refills, so order the tea and enjoy those delights! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! 💵 Price wise: Roughly the price below Siew Mai with Fish Roe: 5.10 RM Indian curry Siew Mai: 6.10 RM Steam BBQ Pork Bun: 2.50 RM Baked Bacon roll: 7.50 RM Prawn Rice Flour Roll: 6.50 RM Steam Golden Lava Bun: 7.70 RM Deep Fried Carrot Cake: 5.10 RM Prawn Dumpling: 7.70 RM Stuffed Phoenix Dumpling: 9.90 RM Egg Tart: 2.80 RM

Dim sum is not but bad dishes are always out of stock easily and got to wait for the next round. Suggest to come during non peak hr if you want to have a piece of everything.

One of the best dim sum places around. Quite delicious. Been to many before but this place really stands out. It’s fast service. Parking spots can be a little slow because it’s many people inside. But should be no worries, never had a time where they don’t have a parking spot.

Good food with spacious eating area. A wide variety of food selection. Remember to walk up to the "food station" to order the dim sum while the rest can be ordered through the waiter/waitress.

This dim sum spot is 1 of the famous ones in PG. It's extremely crowded during the weekends. I usually visit on weekdays to skip the crowd & queue. They have quite a huge variation of dim sum with some unique choices of their own. Used 2 be 1 of my favourite but after eating it for quite some time, it doesn't taste that special anymore. But it's still good. Service is also very systematic.

The food was good. Choices are limited. Go early as there were a few items that were already sold out. It’s different from Hong Kong style Dim Sum. Here’s a small difference, the hot sauce is a bit sweet and there was no yellow mustard. So as long as you don’t expect it to be the same, the food is good.

Nice food, fast, friendly and attentive staff. Cozy environment as well. Kids approved. They have baby chairs too. Tried their special noodle, quite delicious

This place served many dim sums with prawns❤️ Good choice for prawn lovers to come here for breakfast or lunch as they open from early morning to 2pm. They have a personal carpark, and there're some parking boxes beside the cemetery. Go there early, or else you'll have to line up for your seats. My personal favourite from this dim sum restaurant is their red bean bun. You should get one if you're also a red bean bun lover as me😄

Much variety to satisfy your taste. Really love all the food and drinks. Fried peanut ball is the best I ever had all my life, crunchy outside and sweet tender peanut fillings.

Went there for lunch during my last trip there but quite a number of items sold out...simple food/ dim sum, good open air atmosphere and acceptable service...

Very high standard of baked and deep fried items. Egg tart could have improvement with slightly sweeter and less solid filling.

I love Fu Er Dai's food even though it's a bit pricey. The food is fresh and flavourful so it's worth it.

It's one of many popular dim sum places with nice crowds in Penang. Foodise is reasonably tasty, not at the "wow " level, though Steam Chicken feet, Fried Reddish cake are the best today. But the Steam Shirmp wasn't great. I was told the price has increased slightly. However, there is still a value for money chioce.

The place come with own big carpark, shelter for queue, and the waiting time is fast. Once enter we headed to the food station to choose all the dishes that we want. The food taste are awesome, should be the best dimsum I had eaten till now.

Recommended by local. Very fresh dim sum and reasonable price. Easy to find the parking. Need to queue for seating but it is quite systematic. They also offer fried noodles other than dim sum. Great place for weekend dim sum breakfast 🥞

Dim sum which literally means "touch heart" in Cantonese is one of the best ways to start the day off. A large selection of savory steamed dumplings, fried pastries, steamed buns, congee and steamed noodles means there will be something for everyone. The prawn dumplings were tasty and the prawns were still springy and retained their sweetness. The Phoenix Claws (fancy name for chicken feet) were very tender without falling apart when picked up with chopsticks. The fried yam pastry and radish cakes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just the right balance to still allow a dip into the chili sauce. The deep fried sesame coated dumplings had a decent amount of lotus paste without going overboard. I loved the opened-air settings, and I was early enough that it didn't feel hot yet, and it was not so crowded. However, by the time I left, most tables were taken. My advice is to go early to enjoy the morning-breeze and stress-free parking right next to it prior to the arrival of the crowds.

I think there are better dim sum around, did not really enjoy the food. There are ample parking space beside the restaurant. Their serving per piece is relatively bigger than norm, hence doesn't look as appetizing.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
