A stay that wants to be treated as "your own home", but behave like a budget hotel. The parking is the first inconvenience you'll notice: if you're going for the parking prepared for you, you are gonna have to make a 14 turns to spiral up to the parking floor. Ofcourse they provide you second option in a quite-a-walking-distance away commercial parking, which you have to pay for it UP TO RM25 per entry. Everything in the room is priced, the management even provides a exhausting list of furniture and their price, in case u break it. I don't mind paying if things are broken, but the price is ridiculously high for the poor quality furniture. I understand the list may serve as a deterrence, but haven't you collected deposit a day before? And the deposit refund is so late. I feel like a criminal even before committing one. The price list is not the only exhaustive one, they have tons of house rules. Check in time is unusually late(3pm) check out is unusually early (11am). We have tons of rules to follow, but the service you provide is minimal. Even the main functions you're suppose to provide isn't perfect. Your sofa & beds are not properly cleaned (it itches my family's skin), your towels stink, your bathroom sewage is not good (stinks as well). Do keep in mind your price is not a budget hotel price, so please match your value.

I booked this through agoda. After payment made they request for deposit RM200 by bank transfer. I told this property management I can’t do local bank transfer as I’m foreigner. They advised I could pay deposit by cash where leave the money inside the mailbox, but cannot return my deposit by cash after check-out. They insist me to provide bank detail or card detail if I want my deposit back. This is not right! You can collect the money but cannot return back the money? The reason they give me was need to wait for housekeeper to finish housekeeping and they don’t do cash return. If you are foreigner my advise is don’t book your accommodation here. They not even mentioned they required deposit by bank transfer on agoda app. I have to cancel my booking and only get 50% refund of the price I paid. Very helpless! I feel disappointed and don’t trust this company at all.

Went on a holiday, have to drive all the way up to level 9 parking (I din't know parking can be up so high! ). And there's a total of 4 lift, 2 for resident only, 2 for visitor only, the lift is always full, have to wait for few rounds just to get into the lift.

Rooms are spacious, and it is near the centre of George Town. I did not actually use most of the services, but carpark is also quite big and if u go to the guy outside the hotel and tell your hotel room number, you can get free parking! Overall great hotel and another thing done right by Marriott!

Had a decent experience overall as there were many beds, even provided enough towels. However, unfortunately the building itself was a pain to deal with, so to list it out:- Pros - 4 big beds well air-conditioned - strategic location in town - gym and pool is open as well as other basic amenities Cons - Need to go up almost 10+ spiral floors for parking, be careful if youre easily nauseous - Need to pay deposit of 200 ringgit (but they return it quickly after)

Winding car park for the homestay. But the place we stayed was pretty and very comfortable. Clean, and location very accessible to many other locations. Definitely recommend to stay as honestly!

Nothing to shout about. Too pricey for the unit, 2 queens, 2 single . Rate 5 star, room 2/3 star only. Room is small n congested, limited space. Parking is horrible, check out time too early, check in time too late. Customers being short changed. Can get much much better bargain elsewhere

Location is fantastic, minutes to everything, and the views are great. The only thing I want to highlight is that the windows are very, very, very dangerous. People with babies and young kids need to be very careful as there are no window ledges at all and young children can slip through the open window spaces (which pop open right over the steep drop downwards)

Jamie homestay is the most convenient place since it's nearby to all the hawker food. I like the cleanliness & facilities. Ciayu Jamie!

The room was big with excellent view.. just the management bad. We accidently parked car on lot 59 instead of 56 on level 9 and they dint give us any 12 hours notice but summoned us Rm200 straight away which is high rate.

You want customers to your hotel, but you don't want the customers familys to wait. I mean there are no place to wait, all place are take over by (Time) valet Parking where us to wait. B4 I do VIP Pick-up, I need to come earlier 5-10min not VIP waiting for me. If we come there n wait at there, the Time workers come n mention that is their lot . So we need to get out from the area.

Rooms are big. The view from the higher floors is excellent, mine was from the 29th - an extra star for that! Wait-time for lifts during peak hours and holidays can be 6-8 minutes -plan for it. Sounds from adjacent rooms can be a bother especially if your neighbors are noisy. Location is good, almost in the center of Georgetown. Lots of good food options nearby including food courts and gourmets restaurants. There are also a couple of bakeries on the ground level. Parking is not the next as you have to drive up a circular ramp to the 4th floor. If you have to do that 3-4 times a day, it can get to you.

Good location room is super clean. Room for improvement The residents community are more concerned limited the amount of 5 people in the swimming pool at one time, 19 January 2022 World Health Organisation wrote an article covering Covid-19 and Swimming Pool anf the following are the results. Fact: Water or swimming does not transmit the COVID-19 virus The COVID-19 virus does not transmit through water while swimming. However, the virus spreads between people when someone has close contact with an infected person. WHAT YOU CAN DO: Avoid crowds and maintain at least a 1-metre distance from others, even when you are swimming or at swimming areas. Wear a mask when you’re not in the water and you can’t stay distant. Clean your hands frequently, cover a cough or sneeze with a tissue or bent elbow, and stay home if you’re unwell. 50ft x15 ft. Swim pools can fit in a maximum number of 20 people separated by 3 sections. What the Residents community should be concerned more are the hazards from 1)Slippery Floor, 2)Gandola, 3)Expose live wire from the Gandola, 4)Injury from hitting from the Gandola, 5) No Barricade at the Gondala, 6) Expose of metal wire as a electrical conductor and exposing to the water. Those are the common areas of concern that the Residents Community should reconsider of taking action, Rather than being a #karen or #kaklong on ways not letting holidays maker from entering the pool area.

Beggars can't be choosers in Penang as they have banned most Airbnbs. Two lifts for homestayers is very inconvenient however ok facilities. Gym leaves much to be desired.

Strategic location, many eateries within walking distance, just walk a bit further, but good to help digestion to eat more, haha. Room clean and OK. But... Not worth RM 200+

Room cleanness : excelent. Everything works perfectly. Price quite acceptable for 2 room apartment full furnished. Check-in process quite effective even though without meet-up. Best recommended place to stay when traveling to penang

Fantastic views and wonderful location with a bus stop right in front of the building. It is also in walking distance to tourist sites in Georgetown. There are also 24-hrs guards at the front desk. Lifts are fast and enough for the whole building. It's really comfortable living here.

  • 5/5 Bhavya M. 7 months ago on Google
We booked this place via AirBnb. Great view and amazing location. Neat rooms. They also have a swimming pool in the building. There's a security guy at the reception area usually and the building is only card accessible so safety is good.

Do not book this place. We booked this place via Agoda, paid in full and was requested to bank transfer 200 to them prior to our arrival as a deposit. While they claim it is refundable, it is unreasonable to expect tourists to do global bank transfer to a malaysian account as a deposit (after we have already paid in full via agoda). They also whatsapp via a number that does not align with the name of the property. There are plenty of legitimate hotels in Penang that are able to hold deposits on cards like a normal hotel do.

We book a two bedroom. Able to sleep 10 person. Location good. Room's are clean. Only problem is car park you need to go up and round the ramp at least 10 floor. Only given one parking space.

Twice staying here and always enjoy the stay. Located downtown and easy to find food nearby. Oh yes, great view too from the room, you can see the sea and the hills at the other side

Quite a strategically located condominium. Facilities is quite nice and complete eg: the pool and the gym surprisingly is quite nice and even have an incline chest press/shoulder press combo. Only cons is the lobby is a bit stuffy and hot and the drive up the residents parking is quite tedious

Not a good place to stay there is a pup around which make lots of noise till late morning The view is not bad but there is other Airbnb with better view also the unite was super small and I have been told it’s for 3 person it was so simple 6 min drive to Gurney plaza

If you visit Penang, this apartment is nice, affordable and pretty complete for the amenities and equipment served. I stay here for many times. Their pool and facilities also good, even though I never use it. The place is near food market, there are several food market called hawker food around the apartment.

The room looks OK in the advert but in reality very poorly maintained. Don't even have a shower curtain sp water splashed everywhere in the bathroom. Pokey little studio with 4 narrow mattress is not what u call comfort. The owner didn't even provide water or coffee sachets which to me is minimum requirement for Airbnb. The pits is the towel they provide which stunk of stale sweat. Horrible place. Will most definitely not stay there again or recommend anyone

Room was clean and longish with 4 matteress laid out as bed. View was great facing the sea. Driving up to the narrow driveway to the carpark was not pleasant. Smallish carpark.

For an appartement in a big city this was price/Quality wise a very good choice. It wasn't the most chic, it wasn't the fanciest one we've visited, but it was clean, the view was amazing, the rooms were nice, the kitchen had everything we needed. Allround a very good choice for everyone who wants to visit Penang. (It was a little hard to find because we didn't know where exactly we needed to be, but the instructions the appartement owners gave us was spot on.) (When you come with a car a little expertise is needed because you need to drive up a spiral to reach the parking lot. Not an issue for experienced drivers.)

Location very stratergy!! So close to anywhere.. The place also very good finde the owner of apartment.. They rent their room Fee is around 200rm for 2 beds and 250 for 2 room 2 bed Remember this is apartmen not hotel Dont expect everyday people come to clean it 1 weakness... The gym sucks haha.. Very limited equipment

Stayed here during non peak days so we managed to get a good bargain for the 3-room condo with 2 parking lots. Fantastic view from the 32nd floor and the place was well equipped with basic amenities, kitchen, fridge, washing machine, etc. Comes with WiFi too

I love this place. The location is central, quite close to Komtar. The facilities are very good and clean. Nice eateries on the ground floor. My only complaint is the spiral ramps to the upper level parkings for residents. Ours was on level 10!

Best condo I've stayed in penang. Gym and pools are very good and well maintained. Entire place is clean and always have security. Staff here are always doing their job properly even during this pandemic. Good bakery store downstair for fantastic soft breads too! Nearest convenience store need to walk about 5 to 10 minutes. Rooms are very spacious! Great view too

It's basically a studio apartment with a nice view. The bathroom was dark and dingy. When showering the water will suddenly go cold then very hot. It's actually a very small place.

  • 3/5 Azaliah J. 2 years ago on Google
The place has a nice view. My only complain is that there were only 2 elevators for the visitors. During my stay there one of the elevator was out of service and it took them so long to fix it. I was staying at the 20+ floor so it took us sooo long (around 15 mins) just to get in one since other visitors were using that same one elevator too. Ofc we couldn't cram the elevator bcs of SOP.

  • 5/5 Azni Mohd A. 2 years ago on Google
A really cosy place and quite close to the famous Penang Road and Little India. It's got all the amenities that you need for a couple of days. The only issue is the elevator. Since you have only specific lifts that can be used for guests, there are times when you'll have to wait for a few hours just to get to your floor especially during checking out period. BTW checking out is before 11.00 am.

  • 4/5 Nabilah F. 2 years ago on Google
I hate the parking space, the spiral is too small and to have to park at level 10 almost makes me cry. But other than that it's great, and full of privacy

  • 5/5 Xi Zhen T. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms smell lovely! Large and spacious, there is even a washing machine in our apartment. Location is good, with many choices of food nearby. Watching sunrise from our bedroom is the icing on the cake.

  • 4/5 Low Poh Y. 1 year ago on Google
Night view is good. But day view is better. I rented a studio. Sound proofing is not good because I can hear the noise from the unit beside me. The parking driveway is terrible to be honest. Narrow and windy. There are 4 lifts provided but only two lifts are allowed to be used by homestay guests. The location is very good so I will still choose this place next time.

  • 3/5 Allen T. 1 year ago on Google
View is unobstructed and unbeatable. Swimming pool and facility at level 11 is great. Parking at high level floors is frustrating due to tight spiral-up ramp design. 2 elevators for homestay and 1 elevator for residence can be crowded serving 33 floors.
