The flavour of their rice is also very good, however a little on the greasy side, but nevertheless, it is still filled with goodness! Alongside this, you have a plate of bean sprouts marinated with oyster sauce. This may sound simple, but it is packed with flavour, believe me. And then their soup - the broth is also so sensational. Ultimately, very delicious! Give it a go everybody!

Good chicken outlet for variety of chicken dishes- Hainanese, Roast, Soya Sauce or even Masala chicken. Served with white or chicken rice or even noodles. There’s a variety of set meals with drinks which are economical. Also local delights such as Adam fish, Rojak n Kueh paiti- all quite yummy! Portions are reasonable and prices are average. Seatings were fairly comfortable n there was no need to wait for tables. Staff were efficient n service was quite fast. A good place for a fast meal.

This time we ordered their set for three... we selected Honey Roasted Chicken, Steamed Chicken, Fish Balls, Okra, Pie Tee, Kerabu Mangoes and Rice. It was as expected, the soup and rice were steaming hot and delicious. Never fail to fill our stomach when we desire a good chicken rice. Good for children, family and friends.

The lady at the entrance told me to try yhe barbecue chicken with rice, which I think it's the staple food here (hence the name), and I was pleased with the food and the drinks quality. They pat attention to small details, like the cutlery in the chicken shaped basket, and that I really liked. The only problem is the soup... I did not try it, but it didn't add to the experience. The price? 19 RM (less than $5). Not bad.

Gorgeous meal, I ordered the chicken curry set for 1 and mum ordered the wantan noodles. She ruined her diet as she couldn't resist, haha. We went on a weekday around 5pm and the food came to us so quickly, all nice, hot, fresh, the premise was also clean. Friendly staff. Keep it up guys.

Went there with my family back in September. Food was quite nice except for the dessert & wonton soup. Quite busy with dinner rush but food was served in a timely manner. One thing that was quite annoying was the ordering system doesn’t show you the dish on the menu if they have sold out. I only managed to get that clarified by one of the waiter as there were a couple of dishes we wanted to order but could not find it after we scanned the QR code to order.

Great food & great service. Very pleasantly surprised when we visited for lunch recently. We had two choices from the lunch menu which were both enjoyable. This may be a large restaurant chain, but our experience was memorable for all the right reasons. Really delicious food was also complemented by very pleasant service staff. We have been going to this outlet for the past 10 years. Having visited many restaurants on the planet, this outlet has remained consistent in terms of authenticity of food & quantity served. The only thing which has slipped is the portion of chicken in the curry. Hotels should learn the art of serving consistently good food….all of the time.

Workers are trained to ignore customers especially by foreign workers to local customers. They may prioritize foreign customers than local customers. Of all the TCRS outlets in Penang, to me TCRS Gurney Plaza outlet serve the best. The roasted chicken is tender and well cooked. Gado-gado portion is nice, vegetables are fresh and the gravy is so tasty. Assam fish also tasty. Chicken rice also fluffy. Worth the money. The staff also friendly.
