One of the older Buddhist temple on the Penang island. It is a very popular place for local to place a remembrance board to remember dearly departed family members and relatives. This is a somber place and quiet. You can see many families come to pay respect to their dearly departed family members. This is not really a tourist spot unless you want to witness the local culture of remembering their dearly departed family members.

Peaceful temple grounds with lots of plants carefully taken care of by the sangha. Worth a visit if you like Chinese calligraphy, there are numerous couplets on the walls of the temple.
