The towels were too dirty. I somehow confused between towels for the bodies or feet. No toothbrush No body soap…YES! Only provided hand soap and shampoo The price ways too high compared with the quality. The room was clean. The air conditioner was new. The bed and pillows were perfect. The location was the best.

Medium sized rooms- thats ok, u get what u pay for. But the rooms had mould on the ceiling and a lot of mosquitoes Bathrooms require better ventilation. The shower area never dried, hence attracting more mosquitoes The front desk is super helpful As vegetarians they made veg fried rice just for us at breakfast. Though a few more veg items would be appreciated Overall keeping the mosquitoes issue aside, it was a pleasant stay

This establishment is the most disappointing nice hotel I have ever set foot in. The location is absolutely perfect for a few nights in Georgetown with all the amenities close by and in walking distance of the main attractions. The hotel itself is very well decorated and modern albeit the room we stayed in (Magenta) was fairly small but I expect it is the usual size for this price in Penang. Here comes the bad bit....the staff were absolutely terrible, unhelpful and pointless. Our room was never cleaned and we stayed for 4 nights. They did however make the beds up and replace the bathroom supplies on 2 out of 4 nights. Towels were only changed on request, despite us leaving them in the bathroom which according to their policy, meant that they would be replaced. This is not happen to our disappointment. The rooms are not sound proofed very well and whilst we stayed there to our shock and amazement a travelling circus including all the animals appeared to be staying in the rooms next to ours. Overall a nice place but the staff and management seriously let it down. Despite being a really nice looking hotel we would never stay here again.

It's my first time visiting this hotel based on good reviews by others in Google. Easy check in and check out. I stayed in the Cyan Street room and it was awesome. Comfortable bed and they provide the amenities. Parking on the side is available in basement parking but limited. I parked just right in front of the hotel and paid for the parking during the day via Penang smart parking. There are a lot of restaurants around this area. In conclusion it was an amazing stay.

“Overall 2/10” The negative sides - room is different from photos in link. Very much smaller and slightly diff concept from shown. (Cyan premier king room) 1)bad soundproof. Can hear neighbours sound, motor at streets passby, bar downstairs sound at midnight. Not much peace 2)room not clean. Towels , pillows and comforter yellowish white. Some with stains 3)bathroom got strong bad smell although they have done housekeeping before i check in. 4)first time experienced low budget hotel. Saw it recommended from xhs app, actual seems different. Wont try low budget hotel again. The positive sides 1) strategic location in town surrounded by eateries, few convenience store , walking distance 2) rm150 per night, cant complain much. Overall still ok , for those budget friendly 3) opened 3 years only. Building still new and modern.

The staff was friendly. Complimentary mineral water bottles and toiletries are provided as per request. However, the room cleaning service is pending for improvements. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a budget trip to Penang.

For Staff handling issue and check in I would said excellent as myself don't facing the issue and I made mistake booking 2 rooms for 2 days stay, I talk to the staff and they help me change to 1 room, so, I won't need to change room each day. For car parking space, some guest said, need to improve, but I won't said if you want a better parking space shouldn't choose this hotel as this is prime area and small hotel, shouldn't complaint on parking issue, as the space is limited and the hotel said, parking first come first serve basic For the room, small but just enough for a good sleep, as you not staying in the room for the whole day right ? Anyway the location is the best, in the heart of Georgetown, all food in nearby, and 7-11 store, also shopping mall, in walking distance For me, I will rate 4 star, as you just pay budget hotel price, and you get almost 3 stat hotel service.

The stay was pretty decent. The rooms are clean and comfortable for such a price. Better than what I expected. The only setback was the parking. It’s a basement parking lot but with very limited spots. I’m just grateful a nice security came and allowed us to park outside the box cause there wasn’t any parking. He’s really helpful. And the other setback was rooms aren’t that soundproof so you can hear people talking along the corridor, and steps on the upper floor.

Staff: 9/10 They are friendly, warm, helpful and cheerful. Thank you so much! Kudos and keep up these great attitudes! Location: 9/10 Walking distance to many famous eateries. My wife and I had a great morning walk everyday during our stay. Room: 6/10 We got a room with no window so it felt a bit stuffy and suffocating. Bathroom was not so clean, but acceptable. Bathroom size was okay. Room was not really soundproof and we were able to hear people walking and chatting at the corridor. Room was small, not even have sufficient space to pray (for Muslims). But worry not, there is a mosque next to the hotel. Interior came with basic design but it was reflective of the price we paid. Overall was not too bad. Vibe: 8/10 Loving the lobby, had some art exhibitions going on. Lovely.

Not a good situation, we arrived and checked our bed to find numerous yellow stains on our sheets and stains on our pillow as well as hair making it seem like the sheets had not been washed. We came back after we were told they’ve been changed only to find what seemed to be the same sheets as well as what looked like shoe marks on our pillow…We then we’re moved to another room where we found red stains and shoe marks on our that we’re on the bed sheets and looked like someone had stepped on our bed before we decided to leave after not wanting to wait a 4th time to get different sheets. The view out of our room was another building feet away. The staff was nice enough to give us a full refund but would not recommend staying after reading more reviews on cleanliness and having seen the same sheets on a bad review weeks prior where they had the same stain and claimed to get bed bugs from it… decided to move to another hotel not far close to midnight. I’ve never left a bad review for a place but this felt like it needed to be said to help others avoid the same situation

Pros: very central location, helpful staff Cons: Linens were very unclean. We checked in and saw yellow spots resembling urine stains all over the sheets and shoe prints on the pillowcase. Also saw huge strands of hair trapped between the mattress and the bedsheet. We asked to see whether housekeeping could come change the sheets. An hour or so later, sheets were made but unsure if changed because there were still yellow spots on the sheets. We asked to change rooms, and sheets still looked soiled. Large hairballs visible in the hallway as well. Reception was very apologetic and even offered to change the sheets themselves, but it seemed laundry wasn’t being done correctly or the laundry machine and/or sheets needs to be replaced. Checked google reviews and people have posted pictures of the same stains from months ago. Disappointed given the high rating of this hotel.

It was a nice stay. Staff were nice and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Amenities were all there. Everything worked. Good location as well. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The hotel location is fantastic. You can walk all around Georgetown. I stayed in the corner room at the end of the hall. It was quiet. The room is big but the interior design is very dark so it gives a cold vibe. I came across two tiny spiders crawling in the bathroom (at different times) so be careful.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent with a wide selection of food options, cafés, and bars in close proximity. However, the check-in procedure was quite lengthy and could benefit from some improvement. The room was comfortable for a few nights stay, clean, and well-appointed. The reception staff most responsive to my request and make sure that I have a comfortable stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the strategic location and well maintained room.

The location is so good that every where we want to go is a walking distance, right opposite our hotel got 24hrs mart so is convenient if u forget to bring your toiletries or u need to buy food. room is clean except that they don’t supply in room slipper. Check in and check out procedure is smooth.

One of those hotels where they try to fit as many rooms as possible to get more people to stay which results in a not so spacious room but is ok for the price. Other than that, the place is pretty clean. Working heater and good service. Something to note is that the shower smelled like smoke when I arrived. Better to prohibit smokers from smoking in showers. Lastly it will be very hard to find parking during the night hours.

Just lacking wardrobe but other facilities are there including safe, mini-fridge, hanger (open area), toiletries etc. breakfast not great but ok and adequate. Service excellent. Wifi fast connection. Safety good as well as need room card to access lift.

To find my room in this hotel is like a maze 😆. Room is ok but the cleanliness is not so clean. Got dirt stain at my bedsheets and the bathroom got yellowish stain at the floor and wall. However I must give a 👍 for early check in than the usual check-in hours...

Overall hotel stay is alright. The positives are the location of the hotel, superb wifi speed and the smart TVs installed in the room. And the air cond and the hot water facilities are great too. The negatives are that after being here thrice, I have seen the deterioration of cleanliness especially of the bed linen and coffee mugs and cutlery in the room. The staff at the reception ( day staff) were downright gruff and rude. Bath towels were not provided, when asked ,acted like she was doing a favor on us. And yet they did not arrive. Later, the night receptionist was courteous and helped us in the matter. Parking is limited and congested and there Is no one to help us there too.

Their service is totally bad. We booking from agoda/booking.com, there show room available. But when we going there to check in, they told us no room. Because not yet clean up. How come? Check out time 12pm, check in time 2pm. But when we going to check in, it's already 11.30pm. How come they room still not available? Okay fine. At the end, we get our room on 12.30am. Inside the room don't have towel. Fine! Get again from room service. After check out and going back to home, I found that my facial wash left at the room. Called to them, just direct told me don't have and the cleaner will already throw it when clean the room. They not even take some times to help me check. After 10 minutes call back as the customer service said she ask other person. But call back after 10min, I still get the same answer. Totally bad service. Not recommended at all.

Considering I booked the room super last minute and got it at a very reasonable price, I think that our room was very much worth it. It was clean, toilet is acceptable, room isn't too small, there was enough space for us to pray. Parking is very limited at the basement, but there are parking boxes right outside the hotel by the road. The location is great as it is within walking distance to quite a few attractions. The staff was very helpful and nice. The only downside is they do not provide iron to the room. Not even at the floor you're staying. The ironing station was located down at the lobby.

Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the room was bad. The floor was sticky, the curtain was smelly (a kind of smoke odor on the curtain), edge of the bathroom was all molded. The towel was stained and torn. Carpark: The hotel claimed that got free parking, but actually most of the time they will just say full and ask you to park at a nearby car park which costs a lot, overnight charged RM30/night or RM3/hr. Roadside cheaper carpark lots most of the time is full. Take note if you drive. Acoustic: bad, I can hear the next room talking. perks: The staff was quite friendly. Location is perks. Around with food, morning till night, street food till restaurant. Price is reasonable. You paid what you get, but the cleanliness was not up to standard. Could be improve more.

A great experience overall. Recently I made a direct booking with Mr Sathia from the front office over the phone. Due to holiday season in place, not only was I able to secure the booking, prices are fair. Overall I am impressed with the simplicity in design and cleanliness during the stay. The staff in general are friendly and helpful. The location alone warrants a return trip to this spot. Highly recommended!

Positive aspects: This place benefits from a great location that is conveniently situated. Additionally, the accommodation is budget-friendly, making it an affordable option. Negative aspects: However, there are a few downsides to consider. Firstly, the soundproofing is inadequate, which means that noise from outside can be disruptive. Secondly, the cleanliness is not up to par, with dust (it may be unnoticeable due to the room design which was dark in theme) and slightly dirty bed linen. Lastly, the pillows provided are too soft, which may not be comfortable for some guests.

I’ve stayed here more than once and I like it. It’s a modern hotel close to the centre where there’s a lot going on. I think the price is reasonable and if you contact the hotel directly they often have a better deal than using the apps. That being said, they should also give retuning customers some kind of added offer especially with the competition so tight in penang.

Hotel is almost fully booked and parking is a problem. Maybe it's the New Year eve but this hotel is situated in the heart of Georgetown so that could be the reason. There are a lot of famous eateries nearby within walking distance so it's worth the stay. The place is new and clean. Staff are very friendly. Only thing is rooms are not well designed and very small. Bathroom is clean, good water pressure, and nicely designed.

Nice hotel, highly recommended for business stay or tourist who like to tour around historical area. Room is clean with complete amenities. Top notch staff service and good value. Love the strategy convenient location, you can get the famous nasi kandar, soup kambing, lobak & fried KT with just less than 5mins walk.

This hotel is a budget hotel but is very new! The room Aircond is good, water pressure a bit low, the bed is comfortable but the pillow is too soft, feel body ache after sleep. The most cons is the sound proof problem, can hear the people next door to you and those who chit chat at corridor. Very close to all favorite local delicious food! And it is also very cheap! The front desk is helpful but just kinda unlikely to request for a late check out, however early check in is possible

Bed and bathroom are uncomfortably small and narrow. Room really dirty and dusty. Other than that like WiFi is ok.

A decent but reasonably priced hotel in Georgetown. Many tourist (heritage/art) attractions are within walking distance. A 24-hour minimart is nearby. The room is black and white, and it is also fairly excellent and clean. Suitable for not more than 2 people. One thing I don't like is that the bed is in the middle of the room, with a tiny space to get to the toilet/mini fridge. And it's not truly soundproof! They have fast wifi connection tho! To use the lift, you must have a room card.

This Loop hotel in George town is for me as businesswoman to deal with my clients. The hotel area is too bad but nice and the price per night is so comfortable. The unique thing is this hotel has their own gallery to show to their customers while enjoy a holiday or other business in the hotel. The breakfast are so luxurious meals for cheap payment.

  • 2/5 Fatin F. 2 years ago on Google
The room is so small. Parking entrance too cramped and limited parking only so we had to pay for coupon and park outside. The floor wasn’t being swept/clean if u move the bed for a bit. The pipe hose was leaking terribly and caused the water pressure to become slow. The only good thing is the reception.

The room was small with no chairs or sofa or cupboard, had to dump our luggage bag on the floor. There's only one small side table. Toilet was nice but the sink was too small that water will splashed around when washing your face. We had been to cheap hotels before but this was lack of so many basic furnitures. The place was very clean though. We had to wait a while before getting our room keys but they did apologise for that. Location was good everything was within walking distance so it was very convinient. Will we stay here again? Maybe, but next time we will get bigger and hopefully better room. Hopefully second chance is better.

Not very pleasant stay due to the noise caused by other guest opening and closing the room door multiple times and the floor layout of the hotel. Everything from the car park to the rooms are very small. It's the kind of lower budget style hotel with some decorations. Apart from that the good side of it was the air conditioning.

  • 2/5 Doris K. 1 year ago on Google
Shower is absolutely amazing. Check in was quick at 2:30 ish in the afternoon. Perfect location, close to major attractions. Room with twin bed is tiny and so is the hole of the toilet bowl. Smell of cigarette from whoever was here before never goes away.

  • 4/5 Lemo N. 10 months ago on Google
Room was great, not too big but enough, shower room was nice, but the Air Conditioner hir direct to bed, this is so bad for health. There's tv, mini fridge, safe deposit box, and a window. But the sofa is dirty, there's stain on bed plush. Male receptionist were helpful, different with the female receptionist. Housekeeper staff were nice.

Brand new refurbished and complete in 2022. Overall it’s look solid and clean. What I have been observing, The staff office their just keep the door open and their can chat/laugh loudly. Their need to put signage of please keep quiet in the lobby or corridor. Lots of adults behaving like kids. Especially in their own room. You can hear their blast the TV volume or talking loudly. Room space is decent.

We stayed here for 2 nights in their Magenta room. Cleanliness:- 5/5 Location:- 5/5 Value for Money:- 5/5 (The room was small in size but it was value for money) Age of the property/room:- 5/5 (newly renovated) The room was equipped with the following: - Queen bed - Small sofa - Air conditioner - Great wifi connectivity - Television - One window - One side table and one snacks table - Electric kettle and instant coffee mix - Mini Refrigerator - Safe box - Bathroom toiletries - Bath Towels - Hair dryer - 24 hours running hot water The only thing missing in the room was the cabinet storage for clothes but overall a great experience staying here. What else do you need? Go for it.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were all very nice and helpful. The only potential downside is that there is a mosque located in the building next door, which will wake you up early in the morning. However, if you don't mind an early wake-up call, this hotel is definitely worth considering for its overall price, quality, and service.

Super clean hotel, this is my first time staying here and I'll stay here in the future everytime I come to Penang. Premium services with acceptable prices. The rooms are 3 types, some are small (it depends on the type) But the most important thing is the hygiene 👍

A no frills accommodation with a great location. Bed and pillows were very comfy although the room size is a tad small but very good value for money. Do not miss taking a trishaw ride 200m north of the hotel entrance.

I would say the staff are really helpful. The rooms are good. Just too short in the bathroom. Beds are comfortable but Not the pillows. All stuff provided in the room even Netflix. Parking is a problem for a van but cars can park in the hotel var park. Parking systems in Penang are great where you can pay your parking fee on their app. Nearby they have a lot of eateries but mostly Chinese cuisine. Opposite the hotel is Muslim Chinese Cuisine shop. Breakfast is always full of customers so I did not have breakfast in the hotel but nearby Mamak shop.

I usually don’t like to complain, but here I have to. Parking very limited. I spent RM50 jus for parking at gated parking lot opposite the hotel. (Hotel+Parking) itself RM180. After this should find hotel with free parking. The staff said breakfast time 7.30-10.30. I went at 9.30 but got few breakfast only. I had coffee only. not a great breakfast.. Easy access to shops and restaurants. I’m not happy with tis stay. Anyhow, the room n bathroom clean. Nice Ambience
