We had such an amazing experience at Noordin Mews, a pet friendly hotel! Our cat loves it and feels at home. The rooms are clean, great location & homey breakfast. ❤️

Came with my dog and had a really great stay. All the staff were super friendly towards my family and my dog and were very accommodating. They gave us pet friendly places to eat and visit and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Good location to several touristic places as well. I would recommend coming here especially with a dog/cat!

very good location, walk district to everywhere....night street food market, day markets, tourism spots, museums, shopping malls, supermarkets, convenience stores, nice restaurants..... the Asian breakfast is the best... we have 4 days breakfast in suprises. And very respectable for the hotel, selected neighborhood bakery for small gift every night on our beds. All staffs are excellent and very helpful. they can speak English, mandarin, and Cantonese... and maybe more language.

My family stayed here in Oct 2023 and we love the place! It is literally like a little oasis in the heart of George Town. All staff we met were super friendly and supportive. The eating places they recommended were also great. Swimming pool was not big but my kids had much fun. The hotel rooms and facilities were very well maintained and clean. Breakfast was pleasant too. The only flaw I think was that our rooms were just beside the pool area and some guest were smoking there. The smell directly came inside the room and didn't go away easily. It would have been nicer if there was a designated smoking area which stood away from the rooms.

Five star customer service from the onset of reservation before you arrive and after you have left. Beautiful and quaint settings. Many small touches that surprises us during our stay. Pillows are soft, ample of space in room, and room is very clean & aromatic. Breakfast is good. Not much garden area for pet, but pet is allowed to go everywhere except a small area in the dining. The room is not very soundproof. There are only 2 spots for free parking on first come, first serve basis. Otherwise, you will have to park on the street rm0.80 per hour if you could find any vacancy (most of the time is fine if you don't mind short distance walk). Location is great, not on the main road which is less hectic & easier to park. Rm476 per nite with breakfast is probably on the high side for what it offers.

Lovely little hotel located in a handy position amongst the shop houses of Georgetown. Very comfortable rooms with a quaint decor and a lovely pool. The breakfast is brilliant and the staff are excellent- friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our 6 nights here.

A sweet oasis in Georgetown! Close to everything you need to do and see in Penang. Staff are so knowledgeable and give great recommendations and are super friendly. The receptionist that checked us in (sorry, name escapes me) was an amazing, friendly, good hearted person, and went above and beyond to help us. We'll be back! thanks to all for a great stay! We had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a cozy room situated by the inviting pool, making it a perfect spot to relax. The breakfast was delightful. We appreciated the option to order food via grab and dine in their restaurant area. The little surprises left in our room each evening added a special touch to our stay. Overall, it felt more like a home than a hotel. Highly recommended!

We (2 adults & child 11 yrs) spent 3 wonderful nights in Noordin Mews in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very beautiful and an oasis of calm & relaxation once you step inside from the hot Penang streets. The staff in reception are fabulous, fully of information and recommendations. Breakfast is lovely, something different each morning and the turn down service at night a nice touch. Our son loved the pool. Overall a gem and I'd highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here! So many little touches and services that made us feel special. The decor is stunning and the breakfasts each morning were delicious. Our favourite part was the little touches of history in the rooms and the traditional Malaysian sweets we came home to on our freshly made bed! Thanks for an amazing stay!

We stayed here from the 7th to the 12th May 2023. We needed a pet friendly hotel. Noordin St is a working class neighborhood and the Mews is a boutique heritage hotel there. We had a great stay, there's a fairly good breakfast, they have 1 local offering but could not make a vegetarian option...that was my main grouse. Cleanliness 5 🌟 Pet friendliness 5 🌟 Desk staff 5 🌟 One drawback is limited parking. On one night, we returned late and had difficulty as the main door was locked...luckily someone came to empty the garbage and we were rescued. Glad to have found a pet friendly hotel. Would go back again for sure.

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The place and rooms are full of charm and authenticity. Service is personal, people are kind and the stay is full of small details being taken care of and leading to small moments of joy. Breakfast very good (they understand how europeans do breakfast). Swimming pool very welcome during hot afternoons. Hawker court 2 streets away. Absolute gem, would come again without doubt.

we booked this hotel on our trip trough Malaysia ast last en 7th hotel. I must say that this heritage hotel is a real boutique hotel!! They treat you as the best feeling a client can have in a hotel! The ladies at the reception never hesitated to overload you with the best tips in their city. the daily breakfast was enough to change the 5 days and even a daily chinese dish of the day wa surprising. Little surprises every day in the room to please you. If I could rate this hotel with 11 on 10 I did it with all my heart. The complete hotel staff was the friendliest we had in our trip!!! Unfortunately because urgent family issue we needed to leave earlier and we regret.. don’t miss this jewel and go!

Breakfast was unique to each day. Room was clean and uniquely decorated for the vibe they were carrying. Service by staff, Nicholas, Dino and everyone else was excellent. They are helpful, friendly and professional. Went above and beyond with meeting my expectations. Pool and surrounding areas are kept super neat and hygienic. Smelled great all day round. Worth a try and absolutely will recommend!

It is a beautiful hotel, the staff is very nice, polite and helpful. We were staying with our two small daughters and they felt like little princesses. They loved finding little, sweet presents on their pillows in the evening. Breakfast is very good and the pool is great.

Spent 2 nights with my family and my little furball in Noordin Mews. We stayed in the Sultan Suite and had the most amazing stay! The hotel is situated in a very convenient and strategic location. There is the popular Lebuh Presgrave hawker centre about 3 mins walk from the hotel. I carried my little furball as we sat there to sample the delicious local food like char koay teow, curry noodles. So much of good food there! Jasmine and Cheng at the reception are such amazing ladies! They are so attentive and are so hospitable. The building is my absolute favourite! So many aspects of the architecture were well preserved and restored to the best possible. Most importantly, the hotel was so so clean and the toiletries provided were top quality! The service such as the turn down service was a wonderful personal touch. They placed little packs of local cookies after making our beds for the night. Also, my little furball was treated with so much care and attention. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! Looking forward to return!

Very welcoming and pleasant staff. Room was clean and equipped with Netflix and coffee machine. Nice pool for dipping and small dining area for food and drinks. Very thoughtful gifts such as the dog gift bag with treats, wipes and poo bags. Thank you for the thoughtful Christmas gift! We were also offered afternoon tea and room cleaning service everyday. Breakfast was excellent and we were given 4-5 choices everyday. Comes with fruits, juice and coffee/tea. Only wished there were more power points preferable next to bed for charging of phones, watches and other devices. Overall it was still excellent service from the hotel and staff.

The property is revamped into a nice stay. The rooms are spacious, decorated with traditional paintings and furniture. The best thing about this place is their staff. Very helpful and polite. They help with suggestions for sight seeing. One of the most comfortable stays we had in recent days. Kid and pet friendly place. They provide only breakfast, no lunch and dinner. But their are nice Chinese food stalls nearby.

The warmth and genuine courtesy of the staff set it apart from others. It compensate the terrible lack of parking space. Highly recommended if you wish to stay in Georgetown, the heart of UNESCO world heritage site.

Had such a pleasant stay! The entire team was extremely hospitable not only to us but also to our dog!! The room and the entire property was clean and well maintained. Location was great too, within minutes to some of the city’s attractions. Although there are no assigned parking, the hotel has 2 reserved lots on a first come first serve basis , failing which there are plenty of paid parking by the road. Definitely will return!

Heritage building turned into a quaint boutique hotel. Service from staff was excellent especially from Belinda and Edric. They were very friendly and very helpful. We brought our dog with us as this is a dog friendly hotel. She was greeted with a treat from the staff. That was a lovely gesture. We had some refreshments and fruits when we arrived. That was a nice touch. Location : comfortably near good food 🍲 Ambience : very beautifully decorated room and clean. I really loved it. We didn't use the aircond much because the fan was surprisingly strong and airy.

A real rustic hotel which brings you back to the olden days.Excellent hospitality from the staffs and I love that from now onwards my cat Magic Tuxedo can follow us on our trip to Penang.

Quaint & charming. Cool boutique vibes. Peaceful relaxing courtyard - great place to chill. Nice clean refreshing pool. Excellent breakfast offerings - super tasty and generous. Uncomfortable bedding. Limited TV stations. Tight toilet. Insufficient pressure and hot water. Ground floor rooms lack privacy.

Their service is excellent. Beat a 5 star hotel. Their room is clean and comfortable. My family and I love it so much and will sure come again. Their staff is well trained. Their breakfast is also good. They also serve healthy dog food, and my little dog loves it

Spent 2 nights with my family and our pet dog. The hospitality was second to none. On par if not better than some luxury hotels around. Hygiene was top notch and staff were respectful of your space. Right at the centre of Georgetown and you get to experience the history being in the property. Definitely our soon-to-be regular place to stay when we are back in town. Kudos to Belinda and team.

From the moment we stepped through the door every member of staff treated us with so much care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble and they allowed us to check in early and got us set up with an amazing breakfast after a long journey to Penang. The service is just the start of what is so special about Noordin Mews, the location is perfect in a quiet street just a short few minutes into a bustling area and the hotel itself is spotlessly clean and decorated with perfect taste. The pool is a real bonus in the heat of Penang and we used it every day! Final touches that make this place a 5 star is in the details such as placing a local treat of some kind on your pillow every evening and lighting a scented candle in your room when you return in the evenings - cannot wait to stay again!

Travelling with dogs can be stressful and it showed as soon as I arrived. However the NM family was welcoming and considerate to my needs and helped me through a stressful situation. The impeccable service continued throughout my stay. Truly a class above a 5* hotel if you're looking for a personal touch. Keep up the good work! Peebo and I will be back soon. NOTE TO ALL DOG OWNERS: Please be considerate and clean up after your dog in public areas and in the rooms as well. It will be a pity if our dogs get banned from the NM becos of misbehaving dog lovers.

Overal experience 5/10 Came with my cats Given room just infront of swimming pool I asked for their best room -prolly i should have ask the most secluded room to get some privacy Its really noisy n irritating with the sounds of people chatting outside (room not soubd proof) ,sounds of staff doing plating n cutlery from their cafe as my room just infront of the swimming pool n cafe, cant get away from the Dog’s bark.Price for one night for their basic room is almost four to five stars hotelrate but toothbrush n toohpaste is not readily available and daily room makeup bed also not a routine unless u asked for both-initially when i ask to replace the bedding the staff seems hesistant as if its not routine, but they do vacuum the room if asked. Not many plug point only at the mirror so quite a hassle if u tech savvy…non near the bed. Internet wifi available but keeps disconnect bothers me while watching netflix and u have to keep reenter the password to reconnect . Celcome line almost nil and digi line at subpar level. Water heater not readily available in room but u have to ask from their kitchen but they provide coffee machine in the room. The good side: very welcoming staff upon arrival.(was given location by gmaps but gmaps shows pin location behind the hotel which makes me circling around the town wasting 1 hours to find the hotel) Help carry my pets. Provide welcome drinks n welcome treats for my pets. Location is good near town n easily foodgrab foodpanda n hotel brings the nonya baba heritage style breakfast too short just 2 hours from 8am to 10 am, not many choice just alacarte. Swimming pool good as open till 10 pm. Act the hotel is nice but maybe need upgrde the service and not too compact not to my taste as no privacy.i suggest hotel make it compulsary for dog owners to keep their dog on harness at all times as some of the dog wonder around even smell guest and try fo enter other guest room, what if they bite, who will b responsible for the treatment better be safe than sorry im okay with dogs just dont cross other guest boundary i nvr bring my cats outside of the room as i dont want it to bother other guess so i would hope other guest to respect my boundaries No room dining provide. I just wish the amenities and service upgraded to 4-5 starts level as the charge per nite is higher than 3 stars level. They only serve breakfast and the said there is team time but never provide, prolly have to inform them. I may repeat stay if no others pet friendly hotel available.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my furkid and we were fortunate enough to be the only occupants on the first night. My pet got to roam around the garden and common area freely. Staff are very warm, professional and friendly. They keep entertaining and playing with my girl, Jessie. Noordin Mews has become her 2nd home. Room is clean and housekeeping is quick and tidy. A pet welcome pack is included in the room if you are bringing a pet. Housekeeping also offers turndown services every night. Special thank you to Mei, Eve and Anong for making our trip a memorable one. Hope to return soon. Best wishes!

It was like coming home! We are returning customers and will continue being so. Amazing property and location, pet friendly but best of all are their staff. Belinda and her team at Nordin Mews are truly customer centric. Warm, kind and always ready to help!

This is a boutique hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Amazing location😁. One of the few hotels in entire Penang with pet friendly policy and great customer service. They also serve a delicious breakfast. Cannot miss it! 😀 👍👌

Really pet friendly. Hotel is beautiful and cozy. Got a nice garden for dogs to do their "business". Swimming pool is off limits for dogs but they are free to roam everywhere else. Would definitely come back again!

Stayed here in August 2022 - absolutely 5 star treatment with really friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast service every morning was excellent and we even got little treats from the evening turn down service. Great location too.

A class hotel with a clean and comfy environment. The hotel staffs are all friendly and helpful for all you need. Having a very present stay with the family here and highly recommended for others if you would like to try a stay in a heritage hotel without giving away too much on confortability.
