If
I
were
you,
I
would
avoid...
The
hotel
is
nicely
located
opposite
a
park
but
the
front
road
is
quite
busy
so
not
great
for
light
sleepers.
Also,
not
exactly
in
the
heart
of
the
town.
The
rooms
are
very
nice,
given
the
colonial
style
but
everything
is
super
worn,
from
furniture
to
tiles,
towels
&
linen.
I
personally
did
not
mind
but
if
you’re
into
more
lavish
things,
it’s
a
no
go..
However,
what
was
truly
annoying
is
the
service
and
overall
experience.
I
arrived
late
as
my
visit
to
Georgetown
was
a
last-minute
decision,
I
asked
whether
there
was
a
room
available
for
two
nights.
The
receptionist
requested
a
passport
and
amount
of
money
and
that
was
it,
I
checked
in.
Then
next
day,
I
wake
up
by
loud
bangs
on
my
door
yelling
“room
service”,
I
opened
all
puzzled
and
was
told
by
a
different
employee
that
it
was
past
the
check-out
time
so
I
immediately
had
to
leave
the
room
and
pay
(!).
I
explained
that
I
had
the
room
for
2
nights
and
that
his
colleague
had
already
collected
the
payment
upon
check-in
but
he
told
me
what
I
paid
was
only
the
city
tax
(what?)
and
I
had
to
pay
the
rest,
cash
only
of
course,
and
was
charged
late
check
out
(!).
His
explanation
for
all
this
mess
was
that
the
other
receptionist
does
not
speak
good
english.
Mistakes
can
happen
but
how
they’re
handled
is
what
makes
a
difference.
As
it
was
not
the
customer’s
fault,
we
could
equally
assume
responsibility
-maybe
at
least
waive
the
late
check
out
fee
as
a
gesture
for
an
apology-
but
oh
no,
I
was
basically
kicked
out
for
a
mistake
that
was
not
mine
:)
With
that
many
lovely
accommodation
options
in
Georgetown,
I
would
not
be
surprised
if
they
go
out
of
business
in
no
time
