Stayed here for 3 nights to discover George Town and were slightly disappointed. The pictures looked better than the real thing. The main issue we faced was cleanliness with stains from sticky liquids/sauces on multiple surfaces or on the side of the bedised table for example. Even when we mentioned this to the reception and the cleaners came, the stains were still there. On the second day when we reiterated the problem the cleaners kindly asked what wasn’t clean but then tried to say that this wasn’t dirty but just traces of the spray that they used, which we know not to be true because when we cleaned the stains, the tissue was brown. They then cleaned the room pretty thoroughly and it was ok. The hotel is ok but pretty basic and the value is ok. We appreciate that they were willing to do their best but hope they will not have to be reminded by other guests since cleanliness is the basic. That said, bedsheets were clean. There is no breakfast on location but the hotel is walking distance from many nice restaurants in the little back roads. Staff was kind and courteous.

Have stayed here for two of my work trips now, just excellent service from the front desk and staff members there, rooms are clean and location is strategic, with car parking for hotel guests. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

We had a room on the 5th floor, amazing room, clean, everything fresh, towels and all sanitary and shower stuff is changed every day. As real 3 star hotel, they provide shower gel, shampoo, comb, teeth brushing set, cotton buds, shower cap, water, coffee, tea and sugar, kettle, hairdryer. Water heater works amazing, very nice hot shower. TV is working, all good. The windows look out at the city. Rooms are quiet, I didn't hear anything. Yet it's true, wifi in the room is almost non existent, but in the 5th floor area (there is a table and sitting area where you can work) the internet is fast and great. The location is good but not perfect. If it's your first time in Penang you probably want to explore city center, well, it's rather a long walk to all street art locations and not the most convenient one. But! Still very doable and there is a big mall with movie theater, a few coffee shops and restaurants around including a few from Michelin guide. Overall it's one of the best 3star simple hotels we stayed in Asia, and I would definitely stay again. Hopefully wifi will be better next time in the rooms :)

Had a good time at this very well located hotel. Everything was comfy and clean. The personal is excellent! (We accidentally forgot some of our belongings, the very friendly concierge took care of it immediately and sent it via postal the very next morning.) The WiFi is fine for browsing the web, but unfortunately not reliable enough for video calls. Enjoy!

Despite the name, the hotel actually had terrible wifi service. Attempting to hold online meetings resulted in frequent network drops and disconnections. The shower also had low water pressure and was not satisfying. Other than that, the service and location were good and the rooms were well furnished. The bicycle museum on the top floor was also interesting to visit.

Room was comfortable for the price we paid. WiFi isn't very fast as there is still some 'lag' while watching Netflix. Water dispenser was not sighted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a 3 pin plug point for those EV owners to use to charge the car.

It's a nice place to stay at. Good places to eat nearby. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Just two areas that might bother some people - first, there's no floor or desk lamps. So the lights are always bright. Second, the walls are really thin. You can hear what's going on in the adjacent rooms and outside in the corridor.

Not the best, but good enough location. A bit outside of the main attractions, but at the same time, a less crowded area around the hotel. Cozy rooms with very good housekeeping. May be a bit noisy, if your neighbor is loud.

A great 3 star hotel with its location is the nearest hotel ever to Deen Maju Nasi Kandar. You can just walk for less than 3 minutes and you're there. Plus, the TV has Netflix and YouTube on it so that's a plus. It's cleanliness is spot on but with some minor kinks in it. The shower not so great as it has medium water pressure. Staffs are friendly and ready to assist you anytime.

The staffs at this property are all great, good attitude, helpful and excellent service.

They put me in a room with window but there view is just a piece of wall so I ask them to change to another room for me with view facing outside.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a great stay! Rooms were spotless and the TV came with Netflix to watch too. WiFi worked well and the bed was super comfy :) The staff were all kind, helpful and friendly, and the hotel allowed us to use two bicycles which made getting around even quicker and easier! The hotel is located in a great place, an easy bike ride or walk away from most of the tourist destinations. The hotel also has southeast Asia’s biggest bicycle museum inside, and hotel guests get to visit for free. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful experience staying in Wifi Boutique Hotel. The staff is super friendly. Room is clean. The Deen Maju Nasi Kandar is nearby for a satisfying lunch. A bicycle museum is on the 6th floor.
