Joez Coconut offer coconut based dessert and also selling edible coconut product. It has coconut jelly, shake, santan, with dragon fruit and also avocado. The coconut shake is just ok in my opinion, not enough coconut milk taste in the drink, however, they do add boba pearl in the coconut shake thou. No parking in front of the shop, so need to park further up or behind.

So yummy and creamy, good for sweet tooth 😝😝 located by the main road near traffic light of District Police station, same side but further away from Times Square. Since it’s in a row of shop by main road, you may want to park your car by the side lanes and walk a few steps towards this Coconut shop. Popular items are the Coconut Vanilla shake (I opt out the black tapioca bubble balls) and Coconut Jelly!! Shake comes with double scoop vanilla icecream, one scoop blended and another scoop after blended. A glass costs rm5.

Very famous for their coconuts. Shop cleanliness can be improved as it looks dirty. Caucasians with weak stomach can avoid as you might get food poisoning. As a local, I enjoyed the coconut shake drinks. However the coconut taste is subtle, and they put a lot of vanilla ice cream (cheapest Nestle type) to make it creamy and thick therefore I wouldn't want to have it twice. Sweetness is overloaded with boba, and I ask them to remove boba because I dont think its suitable as what I wanted to taste is coconut (not vanilla or boba brown sugar flavor).

The coconut jelly and the avocado shake is good and refreshing. Great on a hot day. The price for the avocado shake is a bit expensive. Small shop with not many seats. Most people order take away. Parking not many nearby.

The boss is very friendly and service is good. Coconut jelly taste good, have the taste of coconut drink but a bit too soft to my liking. As for the coconut shake, does not have the taste of coconut, just a milky drink with one scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This review specifically for Gula Melaka Coconut Shake :) Honest opinion, the Drink is not worth the price. The quantity was too little, and they overloaded it with peanuts, like its too much. And the shake was very little. And the taste wasn't upto the expectation. Totally disappointed with this drink.

Couldn’t taste the original coconut powaaa. A little too sweet for me. Vanilla ice cream is a good mix but the boba is not complimenting the drink.

The coconut jelly is very interesting, and melts in your mouth. The coconut itself is also very young. Recommended! Personally I'd ask for the coconut shake to be less sweet

[cincai la] 1) overall - small store selling coconut related dessert, no parking at the store front, great choice of dessert during hot weather, some dessert selection are coconut shake, coconut jelly, coconut water, avocado, coconut shake with vanilla ice cream and other from Joez Coconut 2) coconut shake - sweet but would be nicer if more coconut water or santan were added, lack of a little coconut flavour

Penang (Malaysia) trip: absolutely delicious coconut shake and coconut jelly from @joezcoconut_penang! Such a refreshing treat on such a hot day 😊😊.

Disappointing, ordered the coconut shake - I think they forgot to add the coconut! Just tasted of milk. Persevered through half hoping it would get better, rest went in the bin. Not one to write negative reviews, hopefully will be treated as constructive criticism. Please add coconut flavour to your coconut shake!

Best coconut shake & coconut jelly in Penang. Thumbs up for the excellent service and fast delivery. I have already ordered two times through Whatsapp, one for company teambuilding and another one for my family picnic.

The coconut jelly is very good but the coconut juice just normal as not using the pandan coconut and not cold enough. Would be best place if just plan to get coconut jelly. Limited sitting place like just 2 table beside the roadside if plan for dine in

Anything dealing with coconut requires hard efforts. Apart from the usual tender coconut, these guys went into "jellyfying" it and "shaking" it..... very very nice indeed. Simple and small shop...... and yes, it is filled with a lot of coconuts. Joez..... rocks every coconut. I always enjoy the coconut jelly

I think this place is just nice for thirst quenching. The coconut jelly tasted okay, but I was expecting some natural coconut juice flavored jelly, but what they sell here didn't taste that natural. I think it was around RM5. Then we tried the recommended gula melaka coconut shake. I have tasted better and more natural-tasting coconut shake (for example at Brew73 in Bintulu). This one, it wasn't bad, but I personally don't like the vanilla ice cream on top which covered the coconut milk taste itself. This gula apong version also came with nuts, extra gula melaka syrup, and.. I didn't figure what was added last on top. Looked like some corn cream but I didn't taste any corn, surprisingly I tasted some sesame. If you wanna try the coconut shake, just go for the normal one I guess that tasted better. There's only one table with four stools outside the stall, we ate standing. I think parking might be another issue. We rode around on a bike there, so we just parked nearby and came down for a quick drink.

👍 A friend highly recommended me to visit this restaurant when I travel to Penang. No regrets making my way there as the food is amazing and the pricing is also very reasonable. Don’t mind to visit this place again real soon.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
