Felt a bit discomfort at 1st, but after a whole night of rest, felt so much better, my vision became clear and sharp, much better than when I was wearing spectacles. I was thinking about doing eye lasik for quite sometimes, the chance came when my sister ask me to attend the seminar by Optimax. From eye examination to the surgery, all happened in just three months. The surgery just took 5-10 minutes per eye, a fast process in a cozy room with friendly voice guidance by Doctor Lee. It's already 6 months after the surgery, and my eye condition is good as for the periodical check up. It's so good that I am no longer need to wear glasses, and I can see clear thing even in the water. Glad to make this decision!

Had ASA done here at Optimax Penang. The procedure was generally painless, just some mild discomfort here and there due to pressure and very bright lights. After the surgery, the pain was minimal as i was given painkillers. Some burning sensation was present, but bearable. The staffs and doctors here are very friendly and helpful. The doctor was very professional and patient when explaining about the procedure. I was guided patiently throughout every step of the whole procedure. All in, it was a good experience here 👍🏼

Professional atmosphere, did LASIK here, doctor was very professional and confident when performing surgery, the team always help patients to feel comfortable and calm. But remember to study and ask questions as much as you can though, they don't always explain the whole situation clearly. Overall pretty good experience.

I have my 1st ever Lasik surgery here by Dr Edwin, gorgeous service and care taken by friendly nurse here, explained well with patience. The process is fast, stage 1 took 10s, stage 2 15s for the device in action.

My overall experience was very positive, relaxed and informative. The doctor is very knowledgeable and experienced. They will walk you through the process step by step and do proper examination before the lasik procedure. My vision improved tremendously and the result was almost immediate although I have a bit of sensitivity towards bright light which they told me is a common side effect which will subside within a few days. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Imagine waking up without having to reach out for your glasses/contact lenses?! Well, that happened to me this morning and it felt great. I had my 2 hour assessment last week. The entire staff are so efficient - the receptionist, Amy and the other specialist too… you can tell that all are very experienced. Although it felt long, it was thorough! I never experienced anything like this in the UK. Lots of tests and sound explanations and advice too. By the end of it I finally booked my treatment day. After almost 20 years of wearing contact lenses and glasses, I finally plucked up the courage to have the treatment… and to be quite frank, I don’t know why I waited this long. Yes, the thought of the procedure may sound scary, but it’s actually not that bad at all. It only takes about 16 seconds (on each eye) for the flap to be created and the laser is only 5 seconds - I was shocked as to how fast it all was. I had my Fento LASIK treatment yesterday - Dr Lee Seow Ying and her team were fantastic! So efficient and friendly. Dr Lee also has a soothing voice… she reassures you throughout the entire procedure. If you’re thinking about it… just go for the assessment and see how you feel. Then decide - all the best! I've done my ASA surgery yesterday and it was indeed a wonderful experience for a high power patient liked me. Thanks to Dr. Lee and team for being so professional and confident throughout the whole surgery. I was so nervous at first but Dr. Lee kept trying to calm me down and giving me lots of positive energy. The surgery was done perfectly. Good experience. Went there for LASIK eye surgery. The environment was calm, staff was polite and speak softly. The initial eye examination takes about 2-3hrs . everything was done professionally, the technical gave detail explanation regarding my eye condition and recommends type of procedure suitable for my eye. I proceed with Femtolasik procedure. It was almost painless. I was very nervous, the nurse talk to me to help calm my nerves. Overall the experience was good. Strongly recommended.

Had made glasses from those normal optician shops in shopping malls after doing their free testing. Came here to have a more thorough check up and was surprised after going through many of their devices that they concluded I didn't really needed any specs as my condition was very mild. I did my TESA Lasik last two weeks with Dr. Edwin. He was very professional and attend to every single of my questions. I've wanted to do lasik for the past year, did a lot of research, and finally did it yesterday. Today, my eyes felt slightly dry, cloudy, and irritated when I blink, but it is totally normal. Had just done femtolasik yesterday. Painless surgery. Minor discomfort on the first day but after that subsided, feels great without having to look for glasses anymore. Great experience. Staffs and Doctor was friendly and professional. Patiently explain the entire procedure to you.

My mom went there to do eye cataract. First visit going smooth. Second visit fixed appointment for eye cataract (one side eye) cost around 4k. Final appointment they give us at 4pm but my mom reached there 2.30pm and once she reached she already given the appointment card at counter. We are waited there until 4.20pm no staff came to us to assist my mom. And I walk to counter asked them why still haven’t call my mom yet, then only they are searching for my moms file. It takes another 20mins to get the the file. And we are waited another 20 mins for doctor to call my mom. My issue here, at least the staff working there should let us know that the doctor is busy it will take time to assist my mom. But they just do don’t care until I go and ask the counter then only rush to search for the file. It’s really disappointing for us to make an 60 above years old lady to wait for long hours in private hospital.

Terrible branch, usually go to the TTDI branch where everything is done professionally. This branch for eye checkup, appointment at 3pm, made me wait for 1 hour for my turn, what is the point of appointment then?? I got check up and Femto-LASIK completed in one week. Thank Optometrist Yeong You Long during my check up process explaining patiently about the treatment and Dr Lee for my operation, experienced, talk nicely. After operation, I even can drive myself next day of operation ! Also thank whoever manage whatsapp of optimax. I keep reschedule the appointment but they still replied me patiently. The things need to improve are they need explain clearly the procedure before operation (changing clothes etc; quite nervous when someone keep knocking your door, too much staffs in and out). There are too many people in optimax when they said have a seat first but there are no seat 😬 This must be addressed if there are elderly people and also current Covid situation. Anyway, overall experience is good. Thanks optimax team Penang.

I had ASA surgery yesterday evening in both my eyes as I was short sighted. I've worn glasses since I was 9 years old until now..almost 29 years of wearing thick glasses. And ASA surgery was the best decision ever as I no longer need my glasses..I still got blurry vision as today is the 2nd day after ASA surgery..but alhamdulillah..I’m seeing almost the same as I was in my glasses..the operation I had yesterday was not painful at all..I thought I will feel pain later at home..but luckily I could sleep comfortably last night..Dr Lee that performed my surgery was so kind and high skilled..same goes to the other staffs..I was so happy with my result.
