👍👍 The Hainan Western Food is one of the best on the island. Excellent fries and fresh coleslaw. Portion okay as well. The char Koay Teow is okay. It does have the wok hei but lack cockels (sihamm), pork crackling and a flavourful frying sauce. My extra spicy wasn't spicy. Drinks is ok. Barley is decen... People often mention good, char,

On Tuesday I ate a prawn fritter and immediately tasted the prawns were off but swallowed the first bite before I could spit it out. I've been in bed for two days since with severe diahorea and am just recovering. This is a very strong warning not to buy food from this vendor and avoid food poisoning. Star minus needed for this type of operator.

Averaged food and drinks but prices are on the high side. We tried their chicken (tomyam & normal) satays, spicy chicken chop, char hor fun, char siew dumpling, pineapple fried rice and ee mee. Drinks are pressed lime juice and preserved lime and plum (932). The notable food is the Char Hor Fun and drinks are normal only. Pricey food and drinks, we tried one good tasty stall only. The Chu Char and Spaghetti stall was closed.

Due to lack of parking, I've never eat here but out of curiosity make me wanted to try the nasi melayu n oh boy I must say it's worthy n no regrets. She has variety of dishes to crave ur taste. The price is very reasonable. All her dishes is tasty especially the curry. If u can take spicy, ask for additional sambal by the side. Very good too

Tasted the iced Milk Tea (Teh Peng) quite sour... Informed the lady boss and she agreed to replace the drinks at no cost. I can say, thank you for the service. But i think you need to replace the whole jar of pre brewed Tea please... The second cup is the same...

Came for dinner, tried the 大炒/chu char. Food taste okay with good price. Down part is the ventilation, quite hot in the evening. #restaurant #dinner #cook #food #penang #georgetown

Came at night. Got great Choo char (seafood prep on go), century egg broth or porridge, char koay teow, satay. Place jam packed during peak hour, food reasonably priced. come early.

So many food stalls here. All kind of Chinese, and Indian cuisines inside the corner. Very strategic place to eat and enjoy the city of Penang especially in George Town

Their Belacan Fried Chicken is certainly in my "must-eat" list whenever I travel back to Penang. The chicken cutlets are marinated to perfection, deep fried in a big wok, locking all the juices inside while crisping up the outer crust.

Good variety of food here... Tried the fried rice, the fish head porridge, and most importantly the prawn fritters, delicious! .... Typical kopitiam vibes n can be a bit smoky from the frying n cooking from the stalls

Lunch time selections for hawker far are average but at dinner time they have choo char (restaurant cooking) It's quite good. I reached at 5.15pm and there's only one table eating there. There will be a crowd on weekends if you go at normal dinner time. We ordered 3 dishes with rice and the cost is RM38/-. Try the mutton satay. It's tender and good but priced at RM2.40 per stick. The gravy though is a little over salted. Cucur udang stall opens at 3pm so if you're there try it. It's the best I've ever eaten.

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. There quite a few empty tables around but we were assigned to a long table underneath a staircase. The area is really tight. The wooden stool is not stable and there is no bac...

🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...

👍 Hawker style 'kopitiam' style set up serving various kind of local food under one roof. A good hangout place for tourists, friends and families to have meals and admiring the view. ⭐⭐⭐3/5 for food taste. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5/5 for view. Beer available. Parkings can be a headache, otherwise fair. Well l...
