best italian caffè in town. the owner runs this charming, quirky and ultra cozy place, roasts his own coffee blend and prepares it with his self built espresso machine. the result is a coffee that, by all means, can compete with any bar in napoli or milano. italianita alla penang!

Really nice place to grab a coffee, especially when all the other shops in the area care more about taking as much money from there customers as possible. This place is between 8-12 for a coffee, but it's a really good quality coffee and a really nice atmosphere inside the cafe. It has a beautiful vintage decorum inside and a cute cat to boot. The art work is also top notch. The barista is very friendly also, and overall this is the place to go if you want to get a nice coffe in the area with a cool little place to chill out.

The most affordable cappuccino in the area. Rustic vibes with lots of postcards.

If you are looking for "Vietnamese" culture experience, here is the place. Well, when I say Vietnamese culture it doesn't mean that the place look like Vietnam, but the feeling where you can sit at the 5 feet way, taking a sip of coffee while enjoying the street view of people passing, car passing... It's kind of relax. And the coffee they serve is really at the very reasonable price comparing with other cafes in the town area. I will definitely visit again this place.

It's just a standard cup of coffee here. However, spending an hour here is very relaxing.

Best Coffee In Town (both taste & value!) Little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. Inside, there's a little postcard shop and tucked down the alley beside the cafe is some of Georgetown's interactive street art (including the brother & sister on swing piece). Seriously, this is A-grade coffee!! It doesn't get any better than this, and as you can see from the pics, it's great value too (RM6 for a hot latte vs RM10+ elsewhere). If you're a cat lover like me, you'd be pleased to know there's a resident grey cat who likes pats too!

Nice and fancy place. Coffee is good. Though overpriced. Just walk through the store inside the hall with the art. There are other coffee shops about 1/3 cheaper.

I came here because there's espresso in the cafe name so I was hoping that their espresso to be at least okay (it's hard to find good espresso these days). So I ordered double espresso. The espresso came very thin and over extracted. As you can see from the photo they use a big cup and the espresso is at least half of it, so my guess it's at least 150 ml or more, so it's way way too long for an espresso. The atmosphere and service is great though. The interior is very unique, instagram people will love it. Very recommended for a place to chill and enjoy the vibes, but too bad not for the espresso.

Such a nice little shop with a lot of vintage-retro kind of personality. We had just an espresso and it was very good and reasonably priced!

Perfect hidden spot in the Penang. You can find it in Victoria market too. They had Set up second stall at there. A lot of pop up stall, variety things that you can find out at there.

Found this gem while running from the rain. Owner was super nice and let me in despite being drenched. The coffee shop had a cozy, unpretentious ambience, littered with antiques that would make any Penangnite reminisce of their childhood. Espresso was full bodied and rich, with nice crema. All their milk drinks come with a single shot by default, so do ask for a double if you prefer stronger coffees. Overall, this is a true gem in the heart of Georgetown, and I’ll definitely be back!

Nice hole in the wall place. They do ask if you want your coffee sweet or not. Fairly cheap iced latte although the Heritage Bean is cheaper and has aircon and wifi. Still a decent iced latte. Recommended

Nice looking cafe with lots of greenery outside. Wanted to buy and try out their beans but were out of stock. Ordered the flat white just to try out but unfortunately the coffee based wasn't that strong and flavorful. Will probably try their other drink menu next time if around this area.

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. 🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
