Though surrounded by 2 prominent malls- Gurney Plaza and Paragon, however they have very unprofessional and poor management. Residents not encouraged by the management to use the facilities, and residents with card only allow to use the facilities. And to apply for the card, residents normally have fo wait for months 😡.. and no gym ! Trust me, more and more foreign workers are living here already ! I am renting one of the units, the day I moved in i was stopped by guard and denied entry. Reason given is they suspected I am renting one of the units as service apartment or b&b. As B&B is NOT ALLOW here. The guard house team are very rude and not friendly, and always trying to bully or harsh to residents. They fine in cash for everything they think wrong, including feeding few poor pity stray cats near the car park ( HEARTLESS MANAGEMENT 😡), they clamp your visitors car if more than 1 hour and demand for money, owners despise tenants who are renting the place, politics and gossips, etc etc.... If you have other choice, please go but not here. It's not a community for you.

Maintenance is very bad and run down. Some of the security guards are good whereas some are downright rude. The swimming pool is dirty with murky water. Only convenient for shopping and work purposes if you stay here. And the management so strict yet never do a good job on the maintenance of the elevators and paint.

Small apartment with a super high rental fee. I rent a master bedroom and it's not even that big for that expensive rent. No swimming pool, no gym. Some of the guards are quite annoying. Last time, I was having a fever and taking a grab to drop me in as I just came back from a clinic. The guards stopped the car and asked me to walk in. They said that they only allow cars to drop you inside if it rains and you have many bags to carry. But some of them are good.

I have lived in the condo for an year n few months. Good thing's - beside 2 prominent malls gurney plaza and paragon, you get almost everything if you dont want to move Anywhere specially on rainy days. Transport options like taxi, free bus, uber/grab and english speaking crowd. You will hardly find a local Malay staying here. Most are Chinnese owners. Bad thing's - Old building, bad lifts and only few working on most days, most rooms are small around 900 to 1100 square feet, 3 bhks with 2 washroom, no gym, a recently fixed swimming pool and tennis court, worst is all staff from both the malls stay here and somehow i dont like it, anyone can rent the apartment and trust me anyone. Most balcony hve the exhaust sound from malls, the smell from restaurants and the smoke at times. I stayed at high floor. Overall you can get a decent apartment for around 1800 to 2200. Plz check beds and other things you like about hygiene. Make sure you deal with owner along with agents. Set your requirements and agreement right.

First time i arrived in this city. I'm falling in love with this place

The place we stayed is owned by the owner of a vege restaurant owner n they r nice and very helpful. Besides there r lots of electronics appliances n things that make us feels like home... Super recommended!! The apartment r very closed to gurney plaza but the gate that near gurney plaza closed at around 10pm, so we have to walk back to apartment through the front door which need to cross a dark valley. Hopefully there will be improvement next time we stay there.

Terrible maintenance. When something breaks down, all management does is put up a stupid sign, and that's the end of it. Nothing gets repaired. Management known to embezzle funds.

It used to be a lux condo but now it’s a old building with poor maintenance.

This is probably the worst place to stay in Penang for the following reasons: 1. It is very noisy on Fridays to Sundays. Loud music from Gurney Hotel at Gurney Plaza next door blasts loudly until midnight. Even with all the windows and doors shut, we can still hear the noise. 2. Poor maintenance. Lifts are always breaking down. 3. There is a strong sewerage stench in the lobby and individual units when the wind blows in a certain direction. 4. There is no refuse chamber on each floor. To dispose of your garbage you have to go downstairs to a common area in the open.

The security rules and regulations are just too strict. Not sure what made them to behave in this manner. Anyway, lack of parking for visitors. Should do something about it.
