😠 When you travel on a low budget you are ready to sleep in some sloppy, ugly, dirty places. Sure Love Lane Inn is sloppy, ugly and dirty, which was not such a problem for us, but am giving it just the lowest score as the guy who runs the place made us feel as we were a nuisance during our stay. Last... People often mention street, night, bars, Penang,

When you travel on a low budget you are ready to sleep in some sloppy, ugly, dirty places. Sure Love Lane Inn is sloppy, ugly and dirty, which was not such a problem for us, but am giving it just the lowest score as the guy who runs the place made us feel as we were a nuisance during our stay. Last day he even threatened us over an over again to charge an extra night as we did our check out at 12:03 instead of 12:00. Not 5 minutes later, not 10 minutes later. 3 minutes exactly. Avoid at all costs.

Lively street with several bars and cafes. Some good street art at the start of the street. Definately try out holy guacamole for Mexican food.

at night many tourists come here. enjoying music, relax and drinking beer. and if you drive a vehicle it's better not to go here, it's a bit dangerous, the road is narrow because the average bar visitor drinks beer outside the bar because the bar owner provides tables and chairs at the street.

There are a lot of bars and restaurants to explore around Penang. I was walking around the street and the variety of choices were beyond me. I didn’t get a chance to come back at night as it was far from where I was staying but I was here when I was looking for something to eat during lunch time.

Tourist place. Food is ok but nothing's special. And some places required minimum a drink to have table to eat.

One of the must see destination on the Penang island. Not as much places as in Thailand but anyway. Looks the same in some kind. Mike’s place has a live rock band performance.

Unfortunately, most of the little hostel/hotels are gone, closed down. Gone are the days sitting outside, enjoying a drink and a chat with world travelers.

Not much to this place but it does have decent restaurants and bars with reasonable prices especially for budget travels.

A stretch of bars in old shophouse building, very lively during night time. Opposite is night market which have plenty of food stalls open daily 6pm onwards.

The main central point for tourist. Fully surrounded with lots of bars, street food, hostels, and other 24hrs open stores. One should come here for atleast few nights to spend and walk around the area nearby . Enjoy the old Penang structure (mostly hostel area rebuild in old building). Enjoy the street art on walls of Penang. You will love to come here. Hmm🤔 Ya Bus no. 401 or 401E from Airport can drop you to the nearby area of this street. Thanx 🙏🏻

Nice little neighborhood geared towards backpackers and a few expats. On the "manufactured authenticity" side of fun. Lots of old, nice buildings nearby.

Extremely unpleasant exp. The owner chains the front door at 11:30 pm. Either u r in or out he says. Refused to open it for me n shouted insults at me. Telling me to go to a police station or find a refugee camp. There are great places around for quite less. Rm20 for air con and clean white sheets n friendly staff just further up the lane

👍👍 Beneath the golden hues of twilight's embrace, I wander the Esplanade, a tranquil space. Amidst the laughter of locals and tourists near, Nature's symphony and history's whispers I hear. The gentle breeze dances through ancient trees, Whispering tales carried on the evening breeze. As I stroll past...
