Coffee Bean at Gurney Walk Penang: Only gave Senior discount on the cheapest item ordered instead of on the whole order. Both servers behind the counter were pretty rude as well. This is the first time I have encountered this policy and I have been a loyal customer frequenting the coffee chain. What exactly is your policy regarding Senior discount???

Please improvise in food quality and also in food taste. I ordered aglio olio spaghetti with extra spicy but guess the chef doesn’t even know how does the aglio olio taste like. The food was below moderate. Chicken and mushroom were salty and the spaghetti doesn’t even taste like how an aglio olio should be. Please improvise. Only positive is the atmosphere

One of the only CBTL in Penang that lets you get seated and take your orders and serve your orders at your table. Very good ambience and good service. Have been one of my regular place.

Love the ambience and clean environment. Not too packed so it’s good for friends/family who want a quiet time together. Food portion can be a bit small so be prepared to order more. Recommended 👍🏻

I had very bad experience. I had dine in for few time. 8 out of 10 times they do wrong my orders. I know human error will occur, but when almost everytime doing the wrong order is something very wrong. The management please looks into this matter. Especially your employee understanding on english or customer communication. I give 1 star for they replace my order.

Ordered ice chocolate with oat milk and waited for them to make my drink: noticed that the barista uses hot cow's milk to mix the chocolate before adding oats milk. I pointed it out but didn't want to make a big fuss/make them change bcoz of how busy it was but be aware of the shortcut in case you're strictly vegan/lactose intolerant Spacious outlet with nice indoors and outdoors seating. Came during peak CNY hours

Nice little place on Gurney Drive with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food and drinks are both excellent and once the reclamation work by the ocean is finished there will be a beautiful view.

Cozy and spacious located right next to Ascott Hotel. Indoor and outdoor seating available, parking along the road is available with parking apps needed.

For quick meet up or discussion, its an ideal place with good spacious seatings, indoor and outdoor. Not the mention the ease of getting parking in Gurney area which is quite notoriously difficult and for those who want to avoid parking in Malls along Gurney area. Best of all, its sea facing and this location is at the less busy stretch of Gurney Drive. Many coffee drinkers even bring along their pets as they relax at the outdoor section. Very suitable for kids since plenty of outdoor space, elevated and away from the main road too. Cheers.

Clean but it can get dark around the area at night. I gotta use my mobile phone flashlight to climb up the steps from the pedestrian curb to the cafe. Just caution not to miss your footing!

Nice staff, not crowded furniture bit old but comfortable. Fast WiFi too. Parking is available around the building or inside Gurney Tower. Sea breeze on a nice day. Nice for lepak with friends, business meetings or even a date. Wink wink.
