The dishes here are a real treat 😋. You will definitely love the food here where everything is made in house. The service was very pleasant and friendly. If you ever visit Penang this is a must try cafe, I can almost guarantee you will like it. The flavours are very unique compared to other cafes in Penang. Food is excellent. We ordered chicken with mushroom sauce and fish fillet burger. The portion is adequate. The price is a little bit on the more expensive spectrum, but most cafes in this part of town would have similar pricing. Waiting time was not too slow. It took about 20 minutes, even though we were the only in the cafe. Service is good. The waiter is friendly. The environment was clean and cozy. Washroom is clean, dry, does not smell. Accepts cash and e-wallet only.

This restaurant definitely worth a visit. Juicy chicken breast, fresh and tasty fish fillet without any 'mud' taste. Most of their ingredients are homemade, even tartar sauce until burger bread, amazing!

Came in with the review. Justified. Great food & friendly staffs. Booked earlier just in case. Parking would be a bit hard to get but great place to dine. Tried the peri peri chicken breast & leg .. with extra hot- felt like eating Indian spices. The spaghetti & fettuccine were delicious too. Parents tried the fish & chips - it was diff looking at first but taste so fresh. Good portions. 👍 recommended. Settings are less so maybe book ahead

Cozy dining experience, owner spent time to talk and recommend food based on our preferences. Food overall was delicious, because it was flavorful and not overly salty or seasoned. The special one I had was pepper corn gravy chicken, was really new taste to me and I would come back for more. Highly recommended.

Came here for our quick dinner-out. For me, it was the first time and the dishes were sumptuous. The tastes were so delicious and the spicy on the Chicken Peri-Peri was outstanding along with the Spaghetti. Recommended for all the western dish foodies to give a try here. 🍴🍝

Cozy environment during lunch time, friendly staff, nice food and coffee. Reasonable price compare to similar level of cafe. Friends enjoyed, food is nice for spaghetti. The guy running this place is super. I ordered the Dark and Stormy, a ginger ale expresso special drink. He then gave me a sample of their ginger ale so I could try and decide whether the taste is to my liking before he made the drink for me. So thoughtful. Excellent service. The drink was excellent and so was the prawn and chips. The Black Market is definitely a place to visit.

Dark and stormy was a ginger beer with espresso. My wife liked it so much because she liked ginger taste. Taste of bitterness, sour and sweet in one special drink. WOW. 5 stars Buffalo wings (chicken wings) 4 pcs was very delicious if take along the beer. Very unique Taste, a bit spicy and sweet. WOW. 5 stars Beef burger was just normal standard. Nothing special. Although it was well marinated but lack of he kick. 3 stars Signature fish and chips also nothing special. It was well done and prepared nicely but still somehow lack of the kick. Chips was indeed very nice. 3 stars Drunken clam was creative but unfortunately the shell was broken and gave us problrm in picking up the shells rather than focus on the food. 2 stars

I don’t always give 5 stars, but when I do, it means the restaurant is really good from every aspect: taste, serving time, beverage, attitude, environment. Friendly owner is the key 😊 will definitely come back again! Wish to try the apple fries and spaghetti next time.
