Do not eat here. Food is alright, but service is terrible. I have absolutely no idea how this place was rated 4.3 stars when we found it in Google Maps. Didn't want to seat us because "table too big for 2 people". We offered to eat fast and share a table if needed. They then made the wrong food. Did not even mention it. That's fine, we just ate it. Part way through was told they didn't have something we ordered, which is fine, just order something else right? Wrong. The male waiter was utterly confused that we wanted to order something else to replace the dish they didn't have. We found out that puts the item "at the end of the line" so even after we were done eating, the food hadn't arrived. We asked to cancel it and they said no. We were told that it was OUR fault and our mistake for "ordering last". I asked the manager and she said "wait another 10 minutes". Not once did they say sorry and they kept insisting it was our fault for ordering it. We just asked for the bill, which came INSTANTLY, paid for the item we never received and left.

Nice time to come at lunch, comfortable and lesser customer. Set lunch with reasonable prices and portion. Ordered Sake Steak lunch set, personally feel acceptable, not too good and not too bad. Service is very good.

Really good food. Had a birthday celebration with school friends. Enjoy the dinner very much. Friendly lady boss Mary

All the waitress was not dress up anime maid like last time already. Okay that's fine. The food taste was not extraordinary but the price was slightly higher than other Japanese restaurants. 1st time in my life having miso ramen with tauge which is kinda weird for me. The ramen served with cracked bowl & i personally don't like this kind of service. Besides the waitress & lady owner so urge to keep asked us what we want to order and keep the empty bowl once you finished your meal.

One of the most authentic japanese restaurant in Penang with reasonable prices... You can tell by seeing so many Japanese customers repeatedly dining here.. Waitresses wearing maid uniform, but do not expect it to be like Maid Cafe in Japan. Highly recommended if you want to have some really good Japanese food.

Waited 1 hour for my food, and asked waiter, waiter just said they forgot, we still double confirm with them the order when the first dish was out. Wasted my time to wait for so long.

First time visit this restaurant.. Sorry to tell you that the ramen is nightmare, ramen with tau geh?? WTH....... Tasteless miso ramen.. Overall so so. was expect this restaurant have many years history. But really failed me.. First and last visit..

Nice and authentic Japanese food. Ramen soup is special which I never taste it somewhere else. They have special kid meal too. Worth the try

One of the best Japanese restaurant in Penang u should try! I love their sake don where their vinegar rice has a flower fragrance in it which make the dish more flavourful. The staffs with maid costume are so friendly and cute!

Remain as one of my favourite Japanese restaurant in town with waitress dressing up as maid. They even hire a Japanese sensei for yakitori. BBQ chicken skin and chicken ball is awesome!! Must try!!

This will be our first and last time dining in this restaurant. Waited 30min but haven't got our food, while there was no other customers. After 1 main course was served, we waited another 15min but havent got another food. Sushi rice was not fully cooked, taste just so so.. there are so many Japanese restaurants in Penang and this restaurant is definitely not our choice.

Bad experience, food was skipped and serve to others first. Waited for 40 minutes for the food for 2 pax as picture. Waitress giving bad feedback and attitude.

Overall bad experience. The servers will serve you free attitude and is very incompetent. Their kitchen has no idea what they are doing, sending out orders in random and taking their own sweet time. WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN
