This little Dim Sum restaurant serves reasonable varieties of Dim Sum. Crowded during peak hours and weekend, seatings and tables also available at upstair and outaide of the restaurant. Cha Keow Teow just an average.

This is the best place to find halal Chinese food, and a very good Chinese food. Their main attraction of course are the dim sums but the noodles are worth to try as well. Packed during weekends and holidays since it is a small joint.

Thrilled to discover a restaurant that serves halal Chinese food in Penang. While Penang is Malaysian territory, it's essential to ensure the halal status of the food, especially considering that many Chinese dishes often contain pork. Valet Penang is a great find for halal dimsum and a variety of other Chinese dishes. Don't miss trying their mauchi, available in both original and pandan flavors!

Urmm..the Dim Sum was overcooked (perhaps i came bit too late). Used to see long queues of people wanted to dine in. The Char Kuey Tiaw was meh. Only spicy but lack of other taste.

Choose your dim sum outside, then go to the cashier to pay and order drinks or extra food. They have 2 floor seating areas. Quiet many seats which is good. The sauces just above top left of the table. Toilets availble. A bit warm but I am seated next to the standing air conditioner, so I'm good. Overall food was awesome. Love it!

The chee cheong fun was the best that we ordered here. Laksa was a bit too fishy that we couldnt even finish it, and the dim sums got too much flour that its hard to taste the shrimp and chicken taste. Salted egg pao was good though. It’s good to find a halal dim sum in Penang, but the taste and the service can be improved to be better. Maybe I’ll come back to find out if it gets better while grabbing some chendul and souvenirs.

#Update 2023 Price dimsum & Pao 4.60rm/each. Come on early morning when store open 09.00am. I've Ordered salted egg Pao, It's good choice. For dimsum i don't know name. But the red one It's spicy and for long one It's make from radish. For drink i've Ordered ice Milo 5rm It's pricey, not worth it for taste.

Dim sum is good just have to know to pick the right one. Like the deep fried option very crunchy , chee chong fun is ok ok , CKT need a little kick and the lor ma gai is quite different from what I taste before . All around good food and atmosphere though free parking can be tough to find

dim sum were bad - felt like they were straight from frozen and not fully steamed. i expected a good quality dim sum like the ones in chinese restaurants but v disappointed instead. also ordered a char kuey teow but it was tasteless. service was ok as food was quickly served. the place was a bit hot even though there were fans.

The most interesting is the assistant was very well trained, service was very good, Humbly apologize for any mistake and very understanding. Food was quite delicious, plenty of choice. Price is reasonable. Halal obviously. Plenty of table and chair inside. No air conditioning but its cool enough. Parking available for car at beside. Its one way road. Open from 9 morning till dunno hahaha. Payment can be by QR and cash, no credit/debit card. Recommended.

I'm from Ipoh. We eat authentic dimsum since child. IMO, Siumai up to standard. The rest not too attractive to me. Char koey teow wok hei could be improved. Laksa soup less flavorful. Muo chee is way too lembik. Ordered tea, well it comes in glass rather than pot. Shop is compact. Same street with the Penang road cendol. Reasonable price. Continue improve the food taste ya owner... Improve one by one, don't try to sell too much items. Quality comes before quantity. Do try out Canning dim sum since they got more variety & taste really up to standard. Maybe owner can take them as reference. Will support 💪

Those dim sums in the steamer looked amazing! I wish I got some. I ordered char kway teow and 2 other noodle dishes. Unfortunately, they weren't as good as I expected. But it was a cute little restaurant popular with the locals!

Dim sum outside in bowls - very fresh and nice looking. Choose them, have them heated and eat inside. Cheap and efficient. To be honest I've had better dim sum, but nothing wrong with them. They were 'fine' No problems but not great either

Variety of dimsums and other Chinese style food. It's really a great place for halal dimsums. The dimsums are delicious, and all the home made sauces are really good. The char kuey teow is nice too. Also love the iced chrysanthemum tea.

They have a lot variety of steamed dimsum, there are also some fried dimsum, and bun. The store quite small so if you come during rush hour, probably you must waiting in line to choose the dimsum and to be seated. The taste was great, and it's halal so it was awesome. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they serve you as fast as they could. So, their service was quite good. The location was on the side street so if you go here by your own vehicle, it will be hard to find some parking lot.
