Tastes great!

It is a very nice cafe with good selection of pastries. The way it is presented and on the look of the pastries, arouse the appetite. Very relax vibe inside here. We seat at 1st floor. It was dominated by white color. We like it. One caveat, price is not on low side.

I was very excited to try this place out and today I finally had the chance to do it. The pan au chocolate was very light and butter as it should be, the chocolate and banana croissant was delicious and with lots of filling and the mango tart was absolutely delicious probably my favourite. The pistachio croissant was a bit disappointing to be honest. The pastry was pretty good but the filling wasn't much and it didn't have much pistachio flavour. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was nice, cozy and clean. Unfortunately they don't accept card or contactless payments but only cash or bank transfer true a qr code

La Vie en Rose Pâtisserie is a great stop in Penang for pastries. I grabbed an orange & chocolate croissant and banana & chocolate croissant for my long flights and both pastries were delicious. The banana & chocolate was my favorite. I loved that it had a big chunk of banana in it and it tasted like chocolate. There were so many things to try - I would have come back if I had more time.

Good pastry variety! Cinnamon roll has a very well balanced cinnamon cream, not overpowering. Chocolate caramel stick is super tasty!

I passed by this little place on my first day and marked it on my map to return to. The matcha latte was a perfect sweetness and the plan croissant a wonderful accompaniment. The pastry counter had my mouth watering! So many delicious options and I would have loved to explore them more if I wasn’t leaving. Good music. Nice staff.

Croissants was fresh and we'll baked. Tried the chocolate and almond. Both were great. Also tried two tarts, the mango and chocolate. Both had great flavours , just a personal preference is that I would have loved a darker bake on the tart shells. Will be back for sure

Tasteful little place, the pastries were impressive and well made. However they are absolutely huge in portions, they look like the ones in Paris but 3 times bigger. Its a pro/con depending on how u look at it, the size makes it quite sweet to finish the whole thing. Hopefully they could make ones with less sweet options and eclairs too ! The coffee was good, peppermint tea was surprising as it had sweetener inside

Been a few times here. Mixed berries danish is a must. Love the pastries here, hit just the right spot. Coffee is nice too. Will revisit as we have been before.

Falling in love since the first time we came! Good desserts with a very nice coffee with the best atmosphere along the red rose. Always be my first place to visit when I revisit George Town!

The pastries were amazing. Super delicious. After choosing what we want on the counter they put it in the microwave to warm it up. Then it tastes even better. The backers start at 3:30 am to make the freshest pastries. The chef is a french man. He and his wife are traveling around the world to get inspired for new recipes. That's the reason why the pastries are so delicious. The best pastries come from the best recipes :). I definitely recommend this pastry 🍰

This place so cozy and clean, has a very diverse pastry menu. the taste of the pastry is very delicious and crispy. the latte coffee is also very good. a must visit when you are in Penang

Excellente boulangerie/ pâtisserie française ! Je recommande +++ En tant que française en voyage depuis deux mois, j'avais besoin de retrouver le goût des croissants et des pains au chocolat et je n'ai pas été déçu ! Ça m'a fait un bien fou c'était incroyable !
