We were shopping at Gurney Paragon and decided to eat here. I have been passing by so many times and this is the first time I dine here after so many years. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The server recommend a few popular dishes and surprisingly good. I highly recommend the yellow fish and the bean curb cabbage soup. All in all, food is good as well as the service. they are usually busy during weekend dinner time, come early if you don't want to wait for a long time.

The last time I patronized this restaurant was 3 years back. The taste has not changed so is the service. Food was served fast although many tables were occupied. 10-15 min wait time. Overall , satisfied lunch. Note: non halal

Putien food is supposed to be dialect group Heng Hwa 's tradional food which emphasizes freshest of ingredients and their ancestral home' s proximity to the sea. While only the Singapore Kitchener Road outlet has a Michelin star, their Penang outlet doesn't disappoint. We ordered the set for four which came with the raw bitter melon slices which the honey is supposed to make it more palatable. We had a milky soap, seafood bee hoon,fresh slightly raw oyster omelette, red wine chicken, sweet and soar pork(cooked same style as good ones you find elsewhere) , spicy clams and mee sua which tasted a bit like Singaporean prawn noodle. If you are comfortable with paying premium prices(around half of what you would pay in their Singapore outlets), this is something you ought to try.

Taste is good. Server is polite but maybe lack of staff due to the crowd and public holiday. We made reservation so there is no wait time. Food serving time was fast. There were 5 adults and 2kids, the table isn't big enough to cater for what we ordered so there was a lot of rearranging happening throughout the course to make way for new dishes served. They should prepare for a few bigger tables.

Enjoy the food & services. The food is palatable. Worth for the price for a taste of michelline star dishes. Recommend the Loh Mein. It is hokkien style and worth for the try. Deep fry pork trotters and homemade tofu also nice. We enjoy it very much. The waiter serve us patiently and introduce us the menu. Definitely will come back and try more dishes. Occasionally I still come and enjoy the dishes that I never tried. Price increased recently but quality didnt drop. Hope the portion amount can be increased as well.

Premium Chinese restaurant serving Hokkien dishes. The interior is really grand compared to other Putien that I visited. Service is fast and friendly. As usual, the Putien signature dishes seldom disappointed their customers. The chef in Gurney Paragon was well prepared for their signature dishes like Lor Mee, Stir-Fried Yam, Heng Hua Bihun, Fried Oysters Omelet etc. You can find their signature dishes in the well designed Menu. But, not all the items are subject to availability, it is recommended to ask the waiter before placing your order. Price is on the high side, but with the great food quality and friendly services, it worth the price tag. Not to mentioned that their Singapore outlet already won the Michelin One Star for six continuous years.

The food was great except the chicken dish which was average. The service was excellent. They know how to accommodate their guest well. Food/value was very good. Definitely will go back for more.

It's a Michelin 1 🌟 restaurant. The food quality is there, but I'm not a huge fan of their food as the taste is on the lighter side. The seasoning is more bland. I will visit when I'm thinking of a healthier option.

Food taste is okay, but the portion is small. Service is good, but for the wet towel, there were two on the table and i returned at the beginning, and they still charged me the wet towel, with quantity of three… i just saw it afterward as during the bill payment as i was in rush. Not a big money but just don’t like this kind of feelings. For atmosphere, the environment is nice, just personally feel a bit hot and the air conditioning can be further improved.

Our first time visiting this Putien, food is excellent with good quality ingredients & good cooking skills. We especially love the Cabbage soup, roast salty pork leg, sweet & sour pork. The service is very good also. Worth the money. Will definitely come again.

Food has several sizes including XS, which is good for small eater may have the chance to try out different dishes. Service generally are good, food serve pretty fast. While i wear back my facemask (with new Malaysia gov SOP rule starting 1st Aug 2020) repling an urgent msg in a shop, a lady worker come over pressuring me leave my table because got other customers are waiting. 1st of all, i haven't finished my drink on the table. 2nd, I still notice quite a few unoccupied tables around in the shop. This is 1st time i experienced such rude service in F&B industry. Totally dissapointed with these kind of servicing attitude ! Pls be sensitive & improve. Thx.

PUTIEN offers Putian, Fujian cuisine hardly found in Malaysia. Each dish has its unique way of sourcing and preparation.
