Definetely the highest priced aquatic plant items shop in Penang.... The customer service will depend on their mood unfortunately ( I regret saying this). When your order is huge and you are picking loads of stuff...its all smiles from the team. But when you are back for a repeat visit...and you are just picking up an item or two ..they seem to not have the time of the day for you😅😅. This was a real disappointment. Happened a few times during our visits.😅😅 A smart business operator will always give a good service irrespective of how much his customer is giving him business on that particular day..this is basic economic sense. The plant quality and collection unfortunately will also really depend on your luck and your timing of visit, i presume,...meaning if they probably just got their delivery from their aquatic farm...it's an all green and healthy jungle...or else its a mulch fest...we have witnessed both. All in all a mixed experience to put it mildly. An over rated establishment is my personal opinion. Parking is also a real hassel...so watch out for the MPPP officers if you are planning for a quick dash in & dash out visit when you cant seem to find a parking lot. I will vote for Ace Aquatic Story...which is a much more pleasant establishment and a magical experience for sure💖...truly a little gem for the aquatic fauna and flora lovers in the Penang area. The Aqua cult's team used to be good a few years back when they newly opened up their shop....but the professionalism has deteriorated quite considerably of late...i sincerely hope they will take this review (should they read it) with positivity in their minds and improve upon their services in the near future.. Looking forward to a better experience visiting them again some time. But for now...its just one ⭐....😅

They have the most amazing selection of plants, fish, shrimp, rocks and driftwood for aquascaping, that I have seen under one roof anywhere, and I have lived in many countries. The also have mini-globe "biosphere" terrariums that are nice gifts, and which never need watering because each is a closed system. Pricey but they are works of living art!

I am a buyer from lelong. First purchase I was told that the crayfishes are unavailable only after I've placed my order. Tried to contact them for infos but they always took a long time to reply. Sometimes don't even reply! I think they might be busy so I guess it's okay so I gave them another chance. I msg them, they didn't bother to reply but instead they reply my friend's msg and I only received my reply one day after. What the hell? So I think since they replied my friend, I will do my purchase order with his.
