Nice food and nice coffee. They have a very long bar. Food menu have only limited choice.

We stayed at the Airbnb across the street so this was our morning coffee stop every day. Cool space, dramatically designed with nice lighting. Coffee was very good. We didn’t do anything fancy, omakase, etc., just takeaway lattes. Very serious, professional service.

The omakase coffee you need to try. Worth the price of RM 38 and the experience. Barista Myca was very good. Now for the aurora lover, RM 28, it's nice but charging way too much for coffee with tonic and orange . You can get much better coffee elsewhere for cheaper. The place is nice and should try it out once

Very secretive and interesting cafe. Hidden upstairs above a restaurant and next to a haird studio. STAIRS Specialty Coffee serves only drinks and dessert from a barista counter. No dining tables, everyone sit facing the barista on high chairs. If you are here, try the signature and specials. No point ordering the normal ones that you can get anywhere. A bit pricy but ... you decide.

Unique experience of お任せ coffee concept. The dimly lit ambience is great that makes you feel like you’re in a a bar, but having coffee. The barista was quite professional and we truly enjoyed the process of the specialty coffee being made and explained in detail in front of us. We probably wouldn’t return for the omakase again as it’s fine experiencing for once, but would be happy to bring along our friends if we had the chance.

Coffee, non cofee and cakes are on the menu. They have recently added pizzas. Dimly lit ambience indoors. This brand has several outlets in Penang and you can sign up as member.

Spicy chicken deluxe pizza is an absolute no no. **Please consider this a warning.** Biting on the capsicum pieces makes me feel like I’m kneeling on the ground, licking grass that was freshly sprayed with pesticide/insecticide. Not sure what happened to those poor capsicums in the kitchen that made it taste like it was soaked for days in alcohol and chemical. Pumpkin soup was alright tho.

Omakase experience. You guys should try it! I am a coffee lover but this is next level experience. Place is quite big. They have a lot of drink choices! Parking place nearby is quite a lot. I came on Saturday. This is really an unique experience.

+1 ambiance is nice. +1 service is good, they try their best to be nice although the speed of preparing drinks is quite slow. +1 the coffee taste good and acceptable. Overall if looking for this ambiance to enjoy coffee maybe can try. Didn’t see the cheaper Omakase option while I was here, the rest of the menu is on the high side. Drinks price is even more expensive than Australia.

Great place to have coffee. Unique omakase coffee to order and great variety of coffees in cold and hot versions to your liking. Membership available with wonderful package for coffee lovers at RM2.00 per cup per day. Bravo to the setup.

Very nice coffee and friendly staff.. tried the Awakening Drink and it was amazing. Also if you are someone who likes to prepare their own brew, the shop has many types of beans to pick from.. highly recommend 👍

This cafe has a variety of specialty coffee and tea beverage menu prepared by their knowledgeable baristas. I personally loved the double shaker pour over coffee! For non-coffee lovers, the cafe has among others, chocolate and tea on their menu.

Cozy and chill environment, limited seat... As the seat is just around the bar area. Among this 3 drinks I recommended - Ultimate(Espresso and milk, how can it went wrong right) , the taste is more acceptable and nice. Aurora and Yuzu Matcha also not bad but not everyone will like their taste. A place that I will went back if I wanna have a place to chit chat with friends or have a coffee or matcha.. 😁

First and foremost coffee menu is very confusing. This is forgiving. But the amount charged (31 for SO) I would expect a better coffee. But no you could easily grab better coffee elsewhere in Penang. Secondly, which is what I hated the most, the interior is nice but not friendly for customers. They had a built in spiral stairways for customers sitting above. Worst part is they actually expect those customers sitting above to carry their own drinks climbing up the stairs. We bought two drinks together with my friend. When I requested to have separate trays for the drinks the barista reluctant to give me as per requested. Put in a scenario of holding two cups of hot drinks climbing up the NARROW spiral stairs with a tray on hand and you can hardly see the steps ahead. How absurd.

Loveable cozy atmosphere and special crafted coffees, immerses you with the sense of a secret bar hidden in midst of Penang. Ordered the Glazed Espresso, served in ice cubed espresso with cold milk to pour over, ideal for me who prefers a stronger taste for coffee. Takes a short while for the espresso to start melting before you can taste it properly. Best to book a reservation in advanced since seats are limited.
