Unfortunately straits quay is turning into a place with a party-centric atmosphere, which is fine if your in town for the weekend but not so cool if you are living there. Bar's play music so loud, which is ok, but they are right next to each other so it's garbled noise. There have always been Bar's however it used to be weekends were crazy and weekdays were chilled out. That explains why the occupancy is low during the week. Not the place it once was

The building complex was aesthetically pleasing, with mahogany wood doors and corridors and the suite we stayed in was nice on the surface, however once we entered the two bathrooms we found they were infested with cockroaches. The manager was aware of this as there was a repellent plugged into the main bathroom, however it did not deter the roaches, as we were killing one to two per day. We ended up having to get get bug spray from the grocery store at the bottom of the complex. Both bathrooms were not clean, it look as though the shower had never been cleaned, as there was a significant build up of grime. The kettle was useless and wasn't a typical design so I could not have my tea in the morning. The pool was also dirty and had rust at the bottom, I was very surprised to see people swimming in there, hopefully they are well. It was interesting when I attempted to contact the manger via phone and text about the roach issue I could not get through, yet when I arrived at the complex and when I departed, strangely enough I got through to her. The advertised photos do not reflect the actual state of the property and we were extremely disappointed. Upon check out at 11:30am I went to the Porfolio office and the manager was not there, despite advertising that they are available until 10:00 pm. I had to leave the keys under the door

The Homestay in a marina & shopping setting. The best view for sunrise & sunset, walking & jogging, shopping & dining, & other amenities. However, limited to only one parking lot per unit. Otherwise, very convenient & highly recommended.

House design is old style and cleanliness must improve. Customer service bad and slow respond. Bad experience.

Great for short stays. Lively weekend crowd at the mall. Flea market, performance etc.

Good value accommodation. Conveniently located. Service agent, Ken deserves a mention for a great service. Some rooms sleeps 4 very comfortably. Rooms are a little worn around the edges but clean. Internet is adequate without breaking the sound barrier.

Rented an 2 bedroom apartment for a week. Very nice well designed place with beautiful views at the harbour. Upscale and one of the nicer apartments I have stayed in.

Peaceful and quiet. Can smell the sea and the air is fresh.

Nice spacious suites. However, not all suites are furnished the same so it's a bit hit and miss for cleanliness. There's a grocery store underneath and a seven 11 half a block away. About 10mins out of Georgetown so will need a taxi or a Grab.

Upscale service apartment with shopping mall. The attraction is the promenade where one can stroll along while enjoying the sea breeze and check out the luxury yatch at the port. Property manager is friendly.
