I have access to the Straits Quay Suites as several of my friends and shops owner are living there. Is 5 floors of luxury Suites just above the 2 floors shopping mall. They are spacious and full of services. 3 areas provide each one swimming pool and gymnasiums, at the top roof of the 3 buildings.

It's my 3rd time here. Good if you have a group of 4 or more. Pretty well equipped for extended stay. Things are a little dated and it shows. The place is relatively clean. The excess lift is badly in need of a service or upgrade. Same o problem from 3 yrs ago. It's convenient with eateries and 2 supermarkets below and tesco within walking distance. Night time drinking areas around the mariner. Great value for money.

Very disappointed by the service. When we arrived the room was not ready and they suggest us to move to another apartment more distanced and of poorer quality. It took them 1,5 day to accomodate us in the apartment, but in fact it was NOT READY! The AC was not working, the in-rooom temperature was 28 C! The next day they changed the AC block and the temperature dropped down. But there are 2 ugly Indian style beds (one in the bedroom and the other in the leaving room) and no dining table and chairs. Upon our request they gave us 2 metallic chairs and 1 small table, I guess they took it from a streer cafe! The owen rack is dirty and after 2 days of our stay they still have not cleaned it. 30% of lights are not working as well, they have replaced the bulbs, but it did not help. Practically no cutlery and crackery in the kitchen. Strongly unrecommended to stay there!

Location is great and views are beautiful. But restaurants and bars are too loud. Live bands are terrible and play late into the night. Really make it difficult to enjoy the night

The place is clean, spacious and well lit. But the place was listed as having ocean view, but our place was facing another building! The bathrooms pipe were leaking, made it uncomfortable to pee. One of it even leaked so much that it soaked the rag in the bathroom, so yucky. The bath tub also have the difficulty to drain water, as we need a fork to pull out the stopper. The roller bed's mattress a bit too thin, therefore the bed frame can be felt once u sleep on it. The upside of this accomodation are the great washing machine plus with detergent also comfy lepaking place at the living room.

Rooms were pretty good and nice but the overall design of the place is rather complicated for me. Parking and access to doors/floors were difficult to navigate but overall if you want a decent stay in striaghts quay is ok I guess

Rented an apartment. Well equipped. No hot water kettle instead given a coffee maker. Location is good, near George Town. Sam's grocery and cafe at ground level is nice and convenient.

If you’re looking or wanting some peace from human..this is a great place for relaxation or solitude.

Everything at your fingertips. Fabulous lunch and dinner sets at various eateries. Always either a market or fountain court activities

I loved it here. The pool is nice. Facilities is five stars. Sam groceria is just downstairs making it so much easier for grocery shopping as we have one toddler with us. Will definitely come back.

Its my first experience staying at here.. Really nice, cozy, clean and of course the price is reasonable.. Suitable place for someone who are searching a new experience..

Was a pretty good stay but the bath tub was clogged bed was fine and the room had lots of space.Kitchen was ok and the balcony was fine but the pool was ok, not to deep amd not to shallow.But the pool temperature was a little bit cold
