Gave me 3.2myr to 1SGD so about a 9% difference from current rates. Unfriendly too. Would not recommend... Unsure about the positive reviews. These are some of the worst exchange rates I have seen.

Among all the shop that I ask, they have the best rate... Thai baht 8.11 on 23 Jul.... However they don't have small note, all is thousands note...

Google and all other information says this place is open at 10AM. We come at 10:05 and not open, and lady next door says it will open at 11:00… so we do a little shopping and come back. It is now 11:25, and still no one here. Lady contacted the guy and said he was coming in 5 minutes. That was 20 minutes ago. I understand cultural differences, but this is very inconsiderate, especially for people traveling with children.

Rate better than other places for baht. But the staff was less friendly but okay as long as i got the money.

Last 15th July 2022, I went to this money changer shop to change my ringgit money to dollar bills the lady keep giving me a dirty dollars full of inks on the corners of the money and that time I was in a hurry so the last bills she gave me I thought it was already clean but she gave me a torn money and the other one has ink written on the money, what makes me angry it was two 20 dollar bills that I couldn’t change when I came back to Thailand. I’m going back there to give this dollars back to change it.

The woman there can not count. She gave me RM 2,00 less and then the discussion started, that I put the RM 2,00 in my pocket. I said that I want to get my money no matter if it's RM 1,00 RM 2,00 or RM 50,00. After an hour the guy gave me the ringgit and said that he does not want to argue for RM 2,00 ... and that after an hour. NEVER AGAIN.

The exchange rate for baht to ringgit was better than by other places around. The stuff wasn’t friendly, take and give money, without any hello and thank you. It’s fine, as the work was done properly and you can see current rates on the board.

Excellent exchange rates, clear English speaking and efficient with time. I transferred money both to MYR and from MYR here from Thai baht. Rates were very close to what Google says. I'm not sure how they make any real money. Everything was quick and easy. I will be using this place exclusively when I next visit Georgetown. An easy 5 stars.

Unbeatable rates! Changed Bath to Ringgit, inside the mall rate at 12.51, here 12.92. I then checked with my online app (Revolut), it was better. First time I see a physical change shop that beats an online app!

They are not honest they charge me over 10 euros for my change, I did not pay attention because the first time was alright. Inside the mall there is another Money Changer that is ok. But Munawarah Money Changer are scammers, don’t trust them.

Very good rates from euro to ringgit. Best i've seen in the city. Better exchange your money here if you're going to Langkawi as they have only coordinated rip-off exchanges there.

Rate is not as good as others claimed. Also they are extremely and overly strict on the physical condition of the notes. Those that seem perfectly alright to me also they rejected. I will not waste time going there anymore.

(Exchanged JPY to MYR) Good rate but not the best in Penang. Some more it's very very very troublesome to get exchange for above MYR3000. Were asked to fill in a form regarding name, workplace, salary and etc. The staff asked many times as they couldn't read the handwriting clearly. Other places just take passport photocopy for exchange above MYR3000. Of course I understand the rules, yet they could handle with proper attitude and be professional. Georgetown area has better rate than here. More competitive there.

I wouldn't recommend this shop.. - The rate of they offered was different with the actual exchange.. - They are faking Google review. They would force you to give a 5-star Google review before giving you the money (after getting your money in their hand)...
