A hidden gem… literally! No signage to direct you. A small Norm word on top of the white color building. No clear sign to entry as well. Took us a while to figure out how the swivel door entrance works. Huge earthy tone colour deco, super high ceiling. Gravel path added rustic feel to the dinning area. Superb coffee, my latte was made just right! Perfect balance of acidity, aroma and milk. Highly recommended! Food wise, simply menu to please everyone. My ricotta cheese toast with cherry tomatoes was such a pleasing meal, both visually and taste wise. Limited free parking lots. Plenty on the streets.

Ambient: 4, nice environment but very crowded during visit. Service: 3, very crowded during visit, no staff to attend to incoming customers. Wait time: 3, drink is served quickly but food is a little slow. Taste: 4, decent portion, unique taste. Price: 3, a little high considering the experience.

One fine place to chit chat and enjoy good food. They serve various main courses, desserts and drinks. Their menu is rather distinctive, a common dish could be presented in a quirky way. Chicken Karaage Burger, Smoked Salmon, and Pulled Pork are highly recommended. Dessert wise their brownie was pleasing. Commodious, decorated with plants and pebbles. Hipster no doubt.

The term hidden gem is a term used quite frequently. However, in this case, it's literally a hidden place. I must have walked by few times not realizing there's a shop here. The sign is small. And the door doesn't give a cafe vibe. If you are confronted with this pain door, don't panic. You are in the right place. Just open it. It's even worse if you are really because there's no bustle and it looks unoccupied. But after navigating into the cafe, I find the environment quite relaxing. Most likely also because I was early and not many customers. It was quiet. Music was soft. Waiters were attentive and helpful. Tables well spaced for this kind of themed cafe. Colour and decor soft to the eyes Sadly because we were too early, food choices was limited. Conchiglie was a delight. Visually appetizing. Light but delicious taste. The poached eggs was well done. The yolk cooked to a good consistency of flowing with substance. The waffle was a bit thick to my taste. But the condiments and accompanying taste had good balance

The iced latte is strong and has slight sour taste to it. Tried their well known tiramisu and it was okay to me. Have had better ones elsewhere. The cafe has a small private parking space outside however parking spots are limited.

I like the overall environment, it's clean and cozy. This cafe is very suitable for small gatherings, friends meet up, etc. They will serve you a big bottle of plain water for free when you're in there. Price will be a lil bit higher compared to most of the cafe in Georgetown. Your staff are all well trained and very friendly. Will definitely revisit next time.

The food is great, the portions are just nice. Several dishes are meatless / vege friendly (contain egg). The price is similar like other cafes. The environment is great with minimum design and pet friendly. Awesome service from the crew. The only down side is, it's very hard to get a parking space around that area. The cafe also has limited seats, so you might need to wait / queue on peak hour.

The cafe has a bright modern ambience with a bit of nature incorporated into it. It is quite spacious with a high ceiling and can accommodate a lot of people. However, the floor design(pebbles) is a problem since baby strollers and wheelchairs can’t move on it so this cafe is more suitable for tourists and couples. Also, the round steel tables are a bit rusty so you are better off going for the wood tables if you want cleanliness. It is not easy to find parking spaces near the cafe so you may have to walk a distance to get here. I do not recommend parking at the Heritage Hotel multistorey parking area opposite the cafe as it cost us RM12 just to park for 2 hours. The food presentations were lovely. We ordered the ‘conchiglie with seasonal mushrooms’ and the sauce was a bit too salty for our liking. The ‘citrus passion’ waffle was great though. I have to say the ‘smoky grapefruit’ drink may seem unlikeable at first but it gets better the more you drink it. Service was excellent for us with the friendly staffs and all; it didn’t take very long for our orders to arrive. Price-wise, everything in the menu is quite expensive and a 6% SST will be added to your total cost so some food for thought.

Generally it is alright for those whom want to explore and try other café. I need to try their other dishes before can comment more appropriately. Their ceiling height is very spacious and it definitely give good ambience to "breathe" and relax. If they are looking for next higher level of customers satisfaction, I would recommend they do ensure only customers can park at their designated car park lots...as insufficient car park lots with people whom are not their customers even there is a sign board stated so

A delightful cafe that offered both a spacious setting and a pleasant ambience. 1. Citrus Passion: The buttermilk waffle texture was quite delightful, with a crispy exterior that gave way to a soft, fluffy interior. One notable aspect of this waffle was its strong buttermilk flavor, which however, we felt it overshadowed any hint of egg flavour that we prefer in a waffle. The accompanying earl grey ice creams was a refreshing flavor and not too sweet. 2. Little Prince: Same buttermilk waffle. The chocolate with nuts ice cream was delicious, with a rich and creamy texture that perfectly complemented the waffle. Both waffles were presented beautifully, with attention to detail that made them visually appealing. The staff members were approachable and helpful, adding to the overall positive vibe of the cafe.

We love this cafe and we’re here 3 times in two days. We just love the concrete interior with greenery style. The coffee drinks were great and you can see the staff working diligent to ensure quality of every drink.

Unfortunately, our dining experience last Saturday was not great. Below are the reasons. 1. We waited an hour for the mushroom pasta. The taste was not to my liking (maybe just personal preference), but I was wondering how a mushroom pasta can be charged RM32.90 2. Waited 30 minutes for the slow cooked pork tomato pasta. This dish is still not bad, with fresh tomato sauce and well-cooked pork. At RM33.90, this is still considered reasonable. 3. Iced latte came quickly, but priced at RM14.90, it was quite a small cup indeed. There are not a lot of main course choices on the menu. If I were to come again, I would stick to only ordering the dessert. Nevertheless, the environment is nice with air con and instagrammable.

The Penang cafe scene is getting interesting. You could easily miss this cafe if you aren't paying attention...nothing much on the outside but wow...the inside is something else. 😁 The cafe fully makes use of natural sunlight, you will definitely enjoy the zen-like setting, gravel pathways & all. ☕ We didn't really try any of the food in the menu, going for just coffee & the caramel custard pudding which I must admit is good! Goes well with our coffee. Don't mind coming back again 😍

Great atmosphere, food is quite big portion and tasty. Pull pork pasta is awesome Butter chicken burger is quite heavy taste and dry for personal taste Price is very high side. 2 main course, 1 dessert 1 cake and 3 coffee cost rm180. Service is 10/10.

Nice and well decorated cozy cafe with many tables and nice staff. The drinks and desserts are quite normal compared to the price. We had iced tea, kombucha which was too sweet for me, the waffle with ice cream looked good but the taste was okay

Wow the food was so delicious! Especially the smoked chili jam scrambled egg and the waffles. Coffee was strong yet smooth! Ambiance is funky and fun. Food and drinks came quickly even thought they were busy. Will be going back to order more dishes to try and for coffee.

Visited with my girls for brunch. We ordered 3 main & 1 dessert. I must say everything is PERFECTO! 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 The dishes are flavourful but not too overly seasoned! Looks good, smells good and taste good! Will revisit to try the remaining menus.

Love their high ceiling and clean white ambience. Coffee is good, however I think the food options are a bit limited and too heavy for early breakfast. We went at 9am and wanted coffee with light pastry only at first but got no choice and had to order their main for sharing in the end.

Very nice cafe. Good vibes and great atmosphere. Didn't had any meals but read from previous reviews that the Tiramisu is a must have and indeed it's good. Should not miss it when here. Staff also very polite and nice. I do not hate pets but I am particular when it comes to visiting food establishments that welcome pets. I personally feel it should be stated upfront at entrance or on website. I visited today and was just sitting beside me was a couple who brought in their dog pet. It was not leased and was just sitting on the laps of the owner or in the carrying basket. While it was a quiet dog and did not make noise but I find that owners can do more to communicate the allowing of pets into the food establishments.

Love the high ceiling and bright natural light at the cafe, which I find the ambience very relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised that some of the food was really good. Some notable mention for my personal favourites were: • Pork Ragout Pasta & Spicy Pomodoro • Scallop & Prawn Pumpkin Risotto • Little Prince Waffle The texture of the waffle was done just right. Soft on the inside and nice light crunch on the outside paired with toasted banana slices and chocolate ice cream was just the perfect match. Drinks were good too. Norm Micro Roastery is somewhere you may want to bookmark whenever you are around this part of town.

Awesome place. Beautiful architecture, and food is as amazing. We had the risotto scallop and pull pork egg benedict with mac and cheese croquette. The risotto is really amazing. It might be on the sweeter side. They have power points And wifi (didn't test this). And.... they serve free 💧 water in cute cups. It is definitely worth a visit! Cute for early dates. It's not easy to find parking.

It’s nice that the whole menu is available all-day — usually the pasta items are available lunch onwards. Their food are made very well, and plated very beautifully. We had the pulled pork pasta and the seafood risotto which are both good. What stood out was the citrus passion waffle. The waffle itself was so good! The citrus fruits gives it a nice, refreshing balance. It’s sad tho that they do not sell coffee beans, given that they are a “roastery”. Was expecting to bring home some coffee. Overall, will come back if I happen to visit Penang again to try more of their menu.

Love coming here every time I visit Penang! Food is always good. For dessert, this time we tried their waffles which had the perfect texture (I recommend their lemon/chocolate tart too if they have it). Love their drinks - Aussie latte and dark hot choc are my favourites. The only thing is that the seats are quite uncomfortable to be seating on for long.

A great place to chill over coffee n delicious cakes . The tiramisu n baked cheese cake was our favourite ! The Australian visitors were very very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cakes . The tiramisu was perfect ! full of flavours n well balanced . Highly recommended. The cafe owners does not compromised on giving their guests the best experience. We really had a great time here . Highly recommended!

The environment is simple, clean, modern, unique to its own with high ceilings, trees in the room and sandy floors, and swirl cement chairs. I've ordered the signature mojo pulled pork benedict and it's really superb. Slow-cooked pork pasta also quite stands out but the flavour is heavy. Citrus passion waffle is a kids-lover except the grapefruit. Iced coconut latte is a must-try and Hot white never fails to impress. Pricing is on the higher side but given for such authentication, it's still reasonable.

A very beautiful industrial-themed cafe with nice natural light. Great coffee and also a rather innovative (in a good sense) menu. We were particularly impressed with the mojo pulled pork benedict. Flowy eggs, great flavours, and the mac & cheese croquette was such a clever idea for the dish. Overall a very hearty and satisfying breakfast! P.S. we took away their tiramisu for dessert the night before and it’s one of the best we’ve ever had.

Near the waterfront of the Penang Heritage site, the entrance is on the side alley (next to the stationery shop). The main door is nondescript and the signage is very low profile. The unit resembles an old wharf, that’s been refurbished to give it a minimalist industrial look. Lots of skylight for natural lighting. Food looks gorgeous, and pricing is ‘reasonable’ considering the quality of ingredients. Didn’t give it 5 stars as my scrambled eggs while looking awesome, was a tad over cooked. The pulled pork pasta sauce was also yummy, but a tad too sweet for our taste. Overall nice young vibes! Definitely a trendy place for youth hangouts !

Visited on a busy weekend. Place is kinda hidden, no sign indicating is entrance. Only found it once someone came out. Otherwise, the place is has nice vibe and ambiance. Menu is inventive and food is well made. Coffee was great too. Limited parking up front. Overall, would definitely recommend.

One of the hidden hipster cafes in Penang, it's easy to miss if you don't look out for it as it doesn't have a signboard or anything. The deco here is marvelous, simple minimalistic styled interior with a tall ceiling. Food tastes fantastic, a blend of western and eastern tastes. Parking might be a problem if you come during peak hours, but you can just park further away and walk since its in Georgetown.

This is definitely an insta worthy cafe which offers great coffee n food. Tiramisu definitely a perfect match with the coffee. Coffee is really good, perhaps I may rate their coffee as one of the top 10 coffee in Georgetown. Placed is usually packed, so be sure to come early. Due to limited seats, I don't recommend big group gathering to be held here. Tiramisu will cost you 15 and Regular coffee (white) priced at RM 12. Will be revisiting thus cafe again whenever I'm back to Penang.

The building is nice for take photo and food is ok. But is not suitable for enjoy and relax. Just for fast drink and fast food. I feel like not to stay longer there.

  • 4/5 Alison S. 2 years ago on Google
This cafe could easily be overlooked. Signage is minimal and the entrance is in the car park … but it’s worth discovering. The coffee (ordered a flat white) is well made, flavourful and perfect temperature. For breakfast I ordered the chili scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with bacon. A huge and delicious breakfast. I’m only deleting a star because the seating is all concrete or hard slabs of wood. The seating suits the industrial chic of the cafe but it’s not comfortable. Some loose cushions would help.

  • 5/5 Aishah R. 2 years ago on Google
Really beautiful cafe! Couldn’t find the entrance at first. The door is a bit hidden. It’s like this huge rotating door but you could easily miss it. Really nice atmosphere, perfect for those who wants to take nice pictures. The food was good too although I just ordered light snacks and dessert (just had lunch previously). Ordered mac and cheese croquette, caramelised onion cheesy toast and caramel pudding. All delicious, no complaints!

Hidden cafe that serve great coffee and good food. Service is friendly and helpful too. Limited food menu sadly and not friendly for senior citizens as some food is difficult to chew (hard crust bread). Cozy environment with good lighting and minimum heat. Parking maybe an issue and some tables are too low for patrons to eat.

  • 4/5 Shereen 3 years ago on Google
Nice ambience with good food. But I find it a bit pricey for the portion. Very popular among the teens. Always crowded, so be prepared to wait for a table.

  • 4/5 Goh W. 3 years ago on Google
Nice spacious place to hangout with friends and family. It has some car park space, which is definitely a plus for that location. The food taste great and the coffee is good too. Perhaps if they could have more menu selections and finger food / snacks then it would have been perfect.
