👍 Not too bad a local cafe in town. Toh Soon has emerged from the sideway early morning roti bakar and half boil egg stalls to a full serve cafe now. Prices of menu is not too bad, in the teens to twenties and you can just add RM1.50 for their signature drinks. Food is good. Parking can be a bit of... The cafe is opened at 8.30am, reached there around 9am and been told the nasi lemak and charcoal toast are finished. It’s pretty ridiculous to given this funny feedback. After further clarification, the server said it’s not ready, and not sure what time it could be served. Kaya & butter toast are awesome, it tastes even better than than old Toh Soon from my personal experience. Recommended. Egg Benedict is pretty cheap at the range of RM8-RM10. The cafe itself is cozy and spacious. Kids friendly and good for big groups too. There are parking lots by the roadside and private car park about 50m away.

Double the price of normal coffee shop. I guess your paying for the nicer environment with yet the traditional feel. Very clean and comfortable with the air conditioning. Soft boiled eggs, they call it sous vide here (fancy) is not using free range eggs. Bread is good, but kaya could be better. Had traditional coffee which is decent and expected from a kopitiam

Like the holiday vibe here. All polo bun is good, I love the mushroom and avocado ones. Iced coffee surprisingly isn’t that sweet which suits my taste.

Chill and cozy environment, there is parking lot nearby so don’t need to worry. Their nasi lemak and hainan toast is great, must try. Ordered their ho ka sai and it taste not bad. A lot of varieties of food here. Spent almost RM50 for 2 persons.

Been to the rustic establishment at Campbell street a few times and this new upscale version of it is more of a restaurant, catering to a different segment of the market. Overall, the noodle taste were up to mark. The toast bread were kinda small. Overall, a good place for a decent local meal that you don't have to line up.

A great breakfast place if u need a quiet atmosphere. Coffee and cham were thick and the sweetness is just right. There are vast variety of foods in their menu. Getting a roadside parking is challenging, a private parking is located opposite the cafe with rate of RM4 per 45 minutes.

Love the polo bun here; not overly sweet and the sauce seems to be drizzled with some balsamic vinegar which matched well with the burger components. The marmite chicken rice was just so-so. The rice was too hard and not fully cooked but the singapore bee hoon was really tasty. Overall, food was served fast and hot and at standard cafe prices

Came early as they were opening. This is a branch on Bishop's St of the famous Hainanese shop operating next to a lorong in the original place for many years. With many other dishes to try out here, one's spoilt for choice.

Soothing place. Food really are delicious. The portion are reasonable size. Definitely have to try the coffee as that's the signature drink in the shop. Price reasonably fair as well.

Best Kaya toast! Definitely get the Kaya toast with eggs. They have a wide selection of coffees, including and orange espresso Martini (not alcoholic), chocolate cinnamon latte and espresso tonic. The decor is well done and super modern and best of all it's nice and cool in there on a warm day! Highly recommend this place!

I've patronized this cafe (mostly during lunch times) for a few times now and man, the coffee just doesn't disappoint. And quite surprisingly, their teh peng tasted just as good too! Food wise, the portion is just right for the price point (RM 10-20~) and tastes alright in general. Service is great as the waiters are quite attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch if you are in the area!

Lovely place. Short wait but worth it. Tasty coffee and wonton noodles. The mayo eggs with hash brown on toast had, odd to me, cold eggs. It was essentially egg salad. I had no idea it would be cold but it was certainly tasty just not something i would think of as breakfast eggs. We returned again for some chicken wings/rice and noodles soup and both were tasty.

Swing by for local coffee. Would say is quite well done, gao/thick but not overwhelming like some. Great place to chill after a good meal down the same street at Aunty Gail Lean's. Would love to try the food some day.

First time visited this branch. Bring high expectations on food but received high bill rate only. Coffee ⭐️⭐️ Half boiled eggs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hor fun ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service slow I would say food so so, price is considered expensive comes with the good environment. Return for second time? I would rather try the other 3 cafes same row with this cafe

Toh Soon is a household name here in penang for their famous toast bread and food coffee located at a small nook in between shops. This is a giant leap from there and provides a wide arnage of food and coffee. They serves western and continental dishes which includes toasts and sandwiches. Besides that the classic Asia delights like nasi lemak, fried rice and even friend beehoon. Interestingly, even some snacks were served too like spring rolls. We tried sandwiches and also rice dishes which was surprisingly good. The portion jives well with the menu and looks way more appetizing than the picture. Overall, a good place to drop by if you want to venture out of the standard kopi houses and dine in for some good food with good local coffee. Thumbs up.

This is the cafe version of the famous Toh Soon roti bakar stall in Lebuh Campbell. It's definitely a cooler version of the original backstreet place, with nice airconditioning, blue walls & lush green plants at the entrance & airwell of the heritage shophouse. We missed their breakfast set coz it was already lunchtime when we arrived & their set lunch menu comprised some local snacks, noodle dishes & fusion food. But the counter staff said we could still order ala carte their signature toast & kopi O. It's similar to the breakfast set, with extra charge for the coffee. It was good & the kopi O was hot & fragrant. The roti babi on their lunch menu was crunchy & tasty. Price is higher than at the roadside stall but still reasonable.

The traditional bread still nice. The additional menu to make up as cafe also not bad but some of them are too salty but generally is good. Those like for cafe style can having same taste of traditional bread and coffee here; those prefer traditional style can still back to Campbell Street

Nice environment with not a friendly price if just for a breakfast. The toast you can get better at ordinary kopi shop if you are not look something fancy. This will be my fist and last.

Overall not as good compare to the original one in Campbell Street. Service so so and had to wait for quite some when replacing a wrong order. Nasi lemak rice was cold. Homemade kaya not bad.
