Pretty like this place vibe, cozy and aesthetic, combination of wood, glass, steel and bricks. Ordered their affogato and walnut carrot cake, tasted good and worth for a try. Hojicha, creamy texture with roasted tea flavor also a good choice. Just the waffles series quite average as the flour preposition is high, causing the tough dough and intense flour favor, baking soda also over a bit and tasted subtle bitterness. Refinement needs to be done over the batter ratio. Second shortcoming of this cafe is the limited car parks along the street, would be recommended to take a street walk while visiting this place.

Aesthetically pleasing cafe, amazing coffee and cozy vibes. Great place for a short catchup session or a coffee break with friends. A bit expensive but reasonable

Came back for my favourite croffle! It’s waffle in croissant texture πŸ§‡πŸ₯ We ordered the TEMU signature (croffle with ice cream) to share and it was so good we end up ordering another one haha! By far this is the best β€œwaffle and ice cream” I have come across in Penang - simple and nice πŸ˜‹ (and yes I am a croissant fan so all the more I’m in love with this haha!) This review is only based on croffle which was the only item we ordered.

We love the minimalistic decor of the cafe which gave it a very cozy vibe. Besides coffee and non-coffee beverages, the cafe serves waffles, croffles and cakes/pastries. We ordered the burnt banana waffles and loved it!

The ambiance of the cafe was nice and suitable for friends to hang out. We had croffle, TEMU coffee, charcoal latte and lemonade. TEMU coffee was good, it has cinnamon and I love it. For croffle, nothing special and charcoal latte is just charcoal and milk. I was hoping there is coffee in it. For lemonade, it is refreshing.

Excellent coffee. This is definitely one of my top 5 to go places for good cuppa coffee. Nicely decorated and friendly staff, tasty cakes too. Definitely a not to miss if you are a coffee aficionado. 18/01: went back with Chiu Ping. Tiramisu is delectable.

This is a cafe with a cozy vibe. Went there as a group of 8 pax on a saturday and the restaurant were a able to accomodate us. Their server was super attentive and explained the coffee choices very well. Thier best sellers are the waffles which tasted amazing. Overall really enjoyed the visit. Roadside parking is abundant if visiting at the right timing.

A surprisingly quiet place is the busy street in Penang. One might miss it due to the place fully covered by 'bushes' 😁 The einspanner coffee is soooooo good, it's a must-have. We have a bit of 'tiny' waffle, not bad. Of course, the biggest selling point is the environment. It's cosy, relaxing, and chilling (minus the outside traffice πŸ˜‚. )

Went to catch up with a friend over brunch here. My friend order their gochujang chicken bagel sandwich. Had a bite & it exceeded my expectations. My friend enjoyed her food so much. Portion was normal but price was definitely on the expensive side. Waffles were delightful- we ordered their matcha burnt banana waffles & they tasted good, vanilla ice cream on top was honestly the highlight, not sure if they make their own ice creams here or not but it was a good flavour combo, (would be amazed if they make their own ice creams) texture wise overall was pleasantly surprised. Just if youre a fan of crispy waffles here is not the place as theyre are more on the softer side. Coffee was nice. Ambiance is calm & relaxed. On a sunday i was able to sit & talk for hours with my friend. Maybe downside here is just the price.

I'm pretty picky with coffee but I never waste. I ordered their supposedly famous signature. And for the first time ever, I couldn't finish the coffee. It was sour and bitter. The cream doesn't even out the taste. We also said "to-go" 3 times. And they still serve us in their cups... Speechlezz Also, the metal table has a rock underneath. Cool design but impractical and uncomfortable. It's a hazard for kids.

Minimalist cafe. Only serves coffee, waffle and some cakes. The Tiramisu is so and fragrant, no alcohol contain. Muslim friends can enjoy the food there. Oh yes, first time trying Supersonic Coffee. Good to go!

Temu meaning "meet" in Malay is located along the narrow Lebuh Melayu, and easily identified by its front facade that's overgrown in greenery. Stepping into the cafe, I was greeted by what I would best describe as a tasteful, post-apocalyptic decor of terrariums, potted plants, barren concrete, stainless steel, and algae. It works. Their menu is limited, so don't come here expecting to get a full lunch or dinner. Rather, it serves as a nice respite from the hot and humid outdoors after walking around Georgetown for a bit. Their signature croffle and iced tea lattes definitely hit the spot to give one the energy to continue walking, and to cool one down. The croffle is such a simple but yet satisfying creation. Made from a croissant smushed in a waffle iron and topped with Vanilla ice cream with a dash of cinnamon, this tea-time snack has a great combination of a warm crispy crust and chewy middle, and the slightly savory buttery flavor combined with the sweet ice cream. In a word, heavenly. Definitely worth a visit just to try them.

Tried the signature croffle served with vanilla ice cream and cheese topping. The croffle was crispy on the outside and very chewy on the inside, just like those mochi waffle. Very nice i like. Also saw someone ordered the chocolate waffle and looked damn good, will order and try that next.

Minimal industrial interior design and friendly staff. Overall it’s a chill experience here with good Croffle and burnt cheesecake.

Good coffee. Pleasant ambience with instagrammable spaces. However, quite limited food is available. Must Try their signature Tiramisu.

Cool coffeeshop with combination of rustic wall and cool stainless steel. Coffee was okay, service can be better. But if you are in the area, you must visit this place.

Try their cheesecake, so good! Their way of combining stainless steel into the natural/ old nuance makes this coffee shop unique..

The entrance captures attention with light foliage and greeneries. The old style fusion with new age vibe really gives a welcoming ambience. Good interior with ample distancing. Liked the Japanese tea infused latte and the warm slightly crusted waffle with ice cream sprinkled with hint of cinnamon. Recommended!

overpriced coffee however i need to say their croffle is really good! I really appreciate the fact that they used good quality vanilla ice cream for the waffle or else it wouldnt taste as yummy as it is! The ice cream elevated the dessert to the next level! would definitely come back again just for it !

    Cozy place, nice settings.

Neat-looking cafe with several selection of coffee and desserts. The exterior is very identifiable though the interior is more minimal when compared to the striking exterior. There are many socially-distanced seats with plentiful power points (including universal ones). Tried the Temu coffee which is latte with cream. It's a good blend of bitter while not being too sweet despite having the cream. Felt a bit bloated after the coffee, not sure if it's the cream or the caffeine. The menu seems a bit limited for now though expected since it's brand new. Payment method is still limited too.

A new Instagrammable space serving coffee and desserts with industrial design layout. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is on a drier side that did not live up to my expectation. TEMU coffee has a good aroma, taste notes and well balance, I find it suitable to my liking. Hojicha (Roasted Green Tea) was a disappointment as it was served mildly cold and lacks of the smoky nutty flavour that I look for. Overall it is still a good hangout spot with friends, perhaps your encounter/preference is different from mine.

Cozy cafe served great coffee but too bad that their signature coffee sold out when I visited. The carrot cake is so fluffy, stuffed with nuts and topped with cream cheese which even off the sweetness. Good try

Nice and minimalist cafe. Somewhat hidden. The croffle and ice cream is awesome! Fruit cake is decent. Great coffee.

🫀 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
