A very hidden “Hidden Bar” along a busy road. Many pedestrians might not notice this beautiful corner but please do go in if you are passion and enjoy a nice in-house cocktail in an-original rustic interior. Great conversation with the lovely owner and we love the inspiration in this simple, closeness and personality hidden bar. Enjoyed the cocktails with personal touch and fresh ingredients. If you are lucky enough, you might get your cocktail served with fresh herbs that are hand picked from the outside garden 🪴

We had a little bit of trouble finding the entrance to this cocktail bar - for those visiting for the first time, it's right behind the blue metal door. Loved the wide menu and options that the bar had, majority of the cocktail were around the range of RM45-RM50. We had a sichuan peppercorn Gin & Tonic drink because it looked interesting, but it was so-so. It was also on the pricier side of RM70. The Georgetown Mule was the highlight. Made with vodka, lime and locally-made craft ginger beer. Assam boi gave it a really nice tang. Totally loved the vintage look of the speakeasy and would definitely return to try the other drinks.

Cozy speakeasy bar, with great hospitality from staff. Tried their rum-based cocktails, and fell in love with their Spices of the Archipelago cocktail. Loved the intimate chill setting. Note: the entrance is really inconspicuous- you’d have to knock for them to open the door! Also, shoutout to Stuart and Sofian - elevated the experience 10x with their service.

We actually followed another couple who managed to find the blue door. We had a great time at this speakeasy bar thanks to Audrey and the friendly bartender. Enjoyed the jazzy music and cool, dark ambience very much. My nutmeg infused cocktail was delicious and light. Just a note to other customers out there - please don't kill the speakeasy vibe with your loud (prolonged) ringtones and even louder conversations.

Small hidden bar along the road. Gotta knock a few times. Range of cocktail drinks, bartender was kind as well to customize drinks for me with the available liquor. Guests should be aware this is drinks solely, so best to grab dinner and snacks elsewhere.

Charming speak easy bar. Its blue back door entrance, immediately creates and alluring feel. Love its ambience. Very relaxing and calming. Perfect place to catch up, have a drink and chat (music is just perfect and not too loud). Also savoured their cocktail mixes. Their fusion flair with local concoctions were very unique. I had "Magic" and it was truly magical. Definitely worth a visit when in Penang. A beautiful way to end the evening.

My friend brought us to this hidden bar, it was simply amazing! Love how cozy it is and really if you're not into loud music/you just wanted to catch up and chill out with yo friends.. this place is perfect for you! And one more thing, it's smoke free! Tody was simply fine and smooth! That coffee that has rum in it tasted great too! Free flow of water and chips. What else could we ask for? I highly recommend this place! 👌🏼

Best place to hang out if you are in George Town. Hidden away from the usual touristic shops, its nicely decorated reflecting the unesco heritage vibe of penang. Very good cocktails, locally inspired. And value for money.

Went in on a whim because Magazine 63 was a dud. This bar is truly a hidden gem in George Town. Hidden behind the blue metal door lies a charming bar with gorgeous decor that makes you feel like you’re in an antique store. Drinks were fantastic, utilising local ingredients and flavours. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in Penang.

Visited in Sep 2023 This is truly a ‘hidden’ bar and what you see outside is not what you get inside. The cocktails are really good and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend folks to try out their signature drink called ‘Spices of the Archipelago’. The ‘Gula Melaka Mojito’ was also an unique twist on a traditional mojito. Service is kind and helpful. You should definitely visit this cocktail bar if you’re in Penang.

Tried the Gula Melaka Mojito and Georgetown Mule. Both were exceptional. Would definitely drink here everyday if i could. Staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. Would reccomend sitting at the bar counter for the full experience. Very cozy experience.

The drinks are fairly interesting with local flavours. The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. They have 2 different interior, one brighter and one more like European basement with vintage furnitures. Perhaps it’s better for them to add air purifier and dehumidifier in this area because it can feel stuffy and humid at times. The toilet is clean.

Nice secluded bar, you need to knock at the door so someone will open the door for you. Their alcohol level is high for their drinks, worth the price, you will have the feel even with one cup.

The drinks were amazing! Sofian/ Sophian- sorry not sure how he’s spelling it was great host for the evening. Amazing bartender & shared secrets of where to enjoy authentic penang flavours. The bar has an amazing speakeasy vibe, “pull the black cable cord & wait, rhe magic will start soon” 😜 We had 6 cocktails all of them were delicious- highly recommended the margarita, archipelagos, gula melaka mojito & the pineapple (which I don’t remember the name which is rum based) The only thing that it was missing it from the experience was some small bar bites to have together with the drinks, other than that everything was great 🙂

Hidden gem in Georgetown, Penang (Malaysia) - a must visit! 🙌 Great range of drinks, carefully and thoughtfully crafted with lovely non-alcoholic options as well 🍸 Having been to a lot of bars, this one is cosy, safe and relaxing - definitely a cool refuge from the heat. The bartender and owner are also friendly, kind and hospitable 🤗 If you're looking for a speakeasy and chill vibes to enjoy with friends, this is your place! ☺️

Loved it at Archipelago, albeit it was, as it should be 😉, hard to find! Lovely vibe, great setting and decor and, very important amazing drinks. I had the Spices of the Archipelago and it was a very interesting cocktail drink. A warm recommendation if you're in Georgetown, do visit!

Wonderful discovery and my first hidden bar/ speakeasy. Delicious mocktails and such a conducive environment for good conversation without loud music. Also interesting to look for the blue door and find the way to get entrance.

Really, really good and hand crafted cocktails that are mixed extremely well. Great menu with own creations and classics. Home made crisps come with tap water free of charge. Very cozy armosphere in this speak-easy style restaurant. Just nock at the door and spend a great evening with very good boozy conversations. Free wifi!
