Personally, I like the environment and the decoration of the restaurant. Give you a feel in Japan.the restaurant is clean and toilet is hygienic. The wagyu beef,sushi and yakitori taste really good.the waiter provide excellent service.I would like to give 5 star if there is no 16% of tax.😁

love the vibe here. feels like real bar in Japan. This little gem in town runs by Japanese boss. The food was tasty. wayu teppan steak was great. loved the croquettes very much. creamy and yummy. ramen was alright. must order the signature yuzu shu and chill through the night. price wise is reasonable and on the higher side depends on what you order.

Fresh sashimi. Great cold beer and superb service. Very friendly and cozy design, a touch feel of you’re in Japan. Food was great and quick. Love it.

Authentic Japanese restaurant run by Japanese owner. Presentation of menu is similar like restaurant in Japan, special menu are handwritten in Japanese, love the feeling of being in Japan. Many exotic menu like those Okinawa dish, something you won’t find in ordinary Japanese restaurants especially those run by locals. Tasty yakitori and perfect place to have gathering and business talk over some drinks. Wagyu skewer is recommended. Service is superb and very attentive.

Pork steak with Salmon Sashimi set at RM28++ is actually a value for money ! First time trying here and I like the ambience especially the decor at the bar counter.

This restaurant is now known as Enoshima (which used to be inside Cititel Express) - probably one of the best value Japanese restaurants in Penang and a GENUINE izakaya menu 👍🏼 Chef/owner is Japanese and also owns Kirishima next door so you know this place is legit 💪🏼 Love their sashimi and steak 🥩 Great, great service as well!

Love their gekikara ramen, also they have Sapporo beer on draft.. the Koebi Karaage and chicken butts (Bonjiri Kushiyaki) make for very nice pairings with the beer!

Firstly, this restaurant has already changed the name to "Enoshima Izakaya". The prices for set lunch offered are quite reasonable. Comfortable dining environment but their opening hours for lunch is only from 12 to 2 noon. Friendly service staffs. Overall is a nice try japanese restaurant in town.

The japanese curry was a bit too watery and barely had any vegetables in it. The atmosphere is very japanese though, the place seems to be quite popular amongst japanese tourists and expats. Prices are average, maybe a little bit on the high end.
