Good food, quite new and clean area, indoor and outdoor. My fave is Char Koay Teow; delicious big rice noodle and has the char taste, friendly Chef too. I tried the Lhorbak, fried stuff but good especially with chilli and gooey sauce. Pricing is a bit more than you pay in old food court but worth for taste and ambience. Various vendors with interesting food from asean food to Middle East Shawarma. Not all vendors open whole day, they have a break between lunch and dinner time. Very recommended!

Just a random visit for light lunch. The char keuy teow cost rm14 with duck egg and large prawn (6 pieces). Acceptable and the taste not bad. The rojak and 烤鱿鱼 taste good. Orange juice a bit tasteless as i requested no sugar added, carrot milk better. Will try next time on the ikan bakar stall.

For the taste of dim sum and its varieties, I would give 5 stars. But for the price, I would consider them a little pricier than common. Perhaps, it’s also due to the location. But if you ever come to Penang, this is a must try! The porridge is really nice!

This place is situated just a few hundred metres after the ever famous Gurney Drive Penang. Can be easily located with its simple yet attractive light deco. A popular place for the locals to hang out during the night enjoying different types of food accompanied by the cool breeze sweeping in from the sea. Limited parking spots and the waiters who forget to take your order (drinks) are the only downside of this place.

Friendly staff, tasty food, clean environment, and most importantly, I managed to eat the food that I have been craving for. Grilled fish is grilled to perfection, juicy and tender. Coconut is abit old though.

They recently did some renovations. The tables are more centric and mostly under the roof. The fans are strong keeping you cool but beware of loose paper. The new decor is fitting for the island theme. The use of fish net lamps really gives it a southeast Asian island vibe. Some of the hawkers are relatively new. Most stalls have items around RM 10 so you can get a variety of food. The portions are proportionate to the price but that is ok. They have coconut drinks you can order but my preference is the RM 2.60 small teh ice. Refreshing and not diluted. If you haven't visited in a while, I recommend and check it out again.

Nice and clean environment, best food court in penang with many food choices, and they have the best shawarma and falafel in malaysia.

Bali Hai merges with Coco Island, thanks to COVID-19 MCO. DIY dimsum by DIY cooks at DIY prices. From RM5 siew mai to RM8(!) har kow and charsiew bao at RM2.20. A place to catch up in the morning along the devastated Gurney Drive promenade. No complaints then when frozen shrimps used are tasteless. In Penang, you get what you pay for. New independent noodle stalls sell at tourist prices - Char koay teow with duck egg (RM8), Dongbei maize noodles with char yuk (RM10), Miso ramen (RM19) and steamed meat crab (RM26). The noodles on average were enjoyable, but not at these prices. The bosses were very rude, cursing under their breath in Hokkien. Boycotting the drinks may finally make them treat customers kindly. Evening meal with fresh seafood is an option with Tiger Grouper (RM17) and meat crab (RM15) done in a variety of cooking styles at the open kitchen. Service however is very slow, wait times over 45 minutes..

Plenty of food choices, strategic and convenient location at Gurney drive. The famous rojak is there, mee goreng, dimsum, grilled seafood, porridge, Thai food and much more.

Tourist trap which i don't mind to paid a bit more but most of the stalls food taste is just blant or tasteless (Except the grill stall). ATTN TO THE STALL OWNER: PLEASE DO NOT TARNISH THE REPUTATION OF PENANG STREET FOOD STANDARD !!!

Imagine walking into a delightful oasis of Asian culinary delights. The atmosphere exudes relaxation with its beach-style setup, transporting you to a serene coastal retreat. As you peruse the menu, your taste buds tingle with anticipation at the array of options, from aromatic Thai cuisine to savory Turkish delights, succulent grilled seafood, comforting wantan noodles, and more. Taking a seat, you embark on a culinary journey, placing your order directly and swiftly at the counter. The system is efficient, with payment made on the spot. Soon, the skilled hawkers prepare your selections with care, delivering them piping hot to your table. Today, I'm opt for the refreshing crunch of rojak, while my boyfriend indulges in the tantalizing flavors of grilled squid and mushroom. With each bite, the burst of flavors dances on our palate, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. The experience is not just about the food, but the seamless blend of ambiance, efficiency, and delectable dishes. Highly recommended, this hidden gem beckons for another visit soon, promising another delightful culinary adventure.

Nice place to hang out. Parking can be difficult. The food was alright but a little expensive especially the grill seafood.

A food court with a variety of Penang favourites food. You can get dim sum in the morning and also other popular dishes. The ramen , teriyaki chicken bento and pork bento set are ok. Parking can be difficult during weekends as this is a popular tourist area.

With so make hawker centres to choose from, we made a plan to try a few every visit. Having passed Coco Island many times after leaving the mall, we finally stopped in for dinner and inflicted maximum damage to our already flailing diet plans. Armed with both a char kway teow and kolok mee as my base, we sought out some chicken satay, oyster omelette, rojak, and sambal ikan bakar as toppings. With a coconut to wash things down, the planned continuation of a night out was soon abandoned for an evening back at the hotel; half regretting everything we ate and half dreaming about repeating the same mistakes. See you again soon Penang! Follow my adventures IG @blingless

Some reasonably delicious street food. The price is a bit on the high side, understandably due to the location. There were stalls offering common street fares as well as specialties such as steamed crabs and seafood, Shawarma, Chinese dumplings, and Japanese bento. We quite like the Char Hor Fun, fried oysters, and rojak. The Japanese stall was kind of strange as most items on the menu were not available and the staff couldn’t care less about taking orders than playing on his phone.

I love authentic Thai foods and found a perfectly spot. Papaya Salad, Tom Yum Seafoods and mango Tom plara are delicious. My husband loves fresh seafoods and they have a stall that you can order fresh seafoods and they will cook them for you. They have other venders that serve variety of foods that you can try.

1st time dining here with family. Not easy to find parking during peak season. Foods & environment are ok. But I believed the prices are more expensive during this CNY and the food portions are quite small. Not sure will come back again in the future. Definitely this place is meant for tourists.

A variety of seafood to choose from besides other types of hawker's food, no doubt many were closed. There's lots of improvement needed as personally I feel not at peace fining as it was noise of the giant fans/blowers which also quicken the speed of eating cold food. I don't enjoy eating there as its pricy and not a conducive eateries.

Tried a few stalls, the best is the dumplings stall. Soup is nice too. The worse one is the fish head noodles shop. The fried fish head has very strong fishy smell, really can’t bear to eat at all. Whole bowl RM18 wasted. Really regret ordering it.

Traditional Cantonese style claypot rice is very good. Close to origin taste compare what i had in hong kong. * Grilled stingray so good, must try ! *

A nice selection of various Asian dishes ( plus some western food, that I will not go into) Recently rearranged/redecorated this is a great place to go for some street food. Nice and clean and a very friendly atmosphere.

Today is the grand opening of Coco Island Hawker Center. There are about 20 shops offering many types of food. Shops include Bali Hai, which closed its previous premises. Variety of dishes are available, but no Bah Ku Teh and Hokkien Mee. I loved fried Jiaozi dumplings. Dim sum is available from morning till even night time.

Not many local food, decent, quite normal, if you're looking for oyster with egg they don't have for the moment, but food there is average, the seafood stall selling those deep sea tiger prawns really fresh and nice.

Casual hawker with beers and a variety of food. A little pricier than other places but the service and taste is worth it. Decent ramen. Satay and lamb tacos are good.

1 of my favourite food hubs. This place doesn't carry the most choices, but they have what i want. Not all stalls are good, but the few recommended ones are the seafood grill 😋, Japanese ramen, chinese dumplings & char koay teow.

Wanna have roti bakar and noodles with breezy wind from the seafront? Here is the place to be. Great for bites and meet-ups, small or large groups, it caters to all. The crispy fried fish noodles is recommend!

Satay, char kway teow and oyster omelette were disappointing. Only saving grace was the bbq stingray with chili and chinchalok..pizza was also soggy… son said nacho with cheese was good

Had the seafood and it was only so so. Not that tasty and generally overcooked. I think the steamed crab was good, but sotong was overcooked. A clean hawker center though compared to most.
