One star down, because when I was there, there was only 2 staff, 1 in the kitchen and 1 at the counter. They worked their butts off but tries their best to be friendly and accommodating. However due to the front desk needing to help the kitchen and serve, he was always busy, quite tough when we want to order more or ask for something. The wait is slight longer due to this. Love the toast. Cafe is spacious. Menu speciliazes on sweets rather than savoury.

Tip: The place can get packed. Choose non-peak time. Service: Service is contactless and quick. Environment: Eventhough the place is packed, it was well spaced out and comfortable. Food: The food is delicious. The Hor Ka Sai kakigori was awesome! A tad sweet but still delicious. The souffle was fluffy, light, refreshing and delicious. Price: Acceptable pricing for the quality of food.

This is one of the best dessert shop I’ve ever been to! I would definitely recommend getting the melon shaved ice and the berry soufflés. They’re so good. Plus, the customer service was excellent.

Good place for desserts and breakfast. Internal design is simple and clean. The waiting time for the meals to be ready is considered a bit longer than usual( I dined in during morning around 9am). Taste are good. Price are reasonable.

Desert was good. Otherwise brunch options are just ok. Service is average, you wont find someone around other than while serving food at table. Calm and peaceful place.

A rare dessert shop opens early in the morning (they do serve breakfast). Melon Kakigori is awesome. Sweat, portion is just right and plenty of stuff inside to dig. Shikbuya Honey Toast is good except for the honey, strong chemical taste which ruins everything. I will probably give it another try next time.

Ordered a melon souffle, sauteed mushroom bread and latte. Melon souffle is delicious! Sauteed mushroom taste okay too but the latte is really lacking (as seen in the picture). The milk bubbles are too course and coffee taste too mild. Do not order their coffee if you are visiting.

Ordered Melon Kakigori, Taro Kakigori & Lotus Biscoff Earl Grey Souffle Pancake. Everything is so tasty, and the ambience is nice.

Had the soufflé (about 20-30mins wait) with fish fingers. One of the few places in Penang where you can find a soufflé and would highly recommend anyone to come and try. Limited seats in this cafe however so do take note on that when coming on a weekend. Had ice mocha (too milky) and ice honey lemon for drinks.

The food was very yummy. In particular the pancake was made out of an nice soft dough. Just three stars for service, because we needed to order with an QR code or at the counter and it was more then enough staff to do table service. It wasn’t even busy. They are very friendly though. Toilets are clean and have toilet paper! Coffee was good as well. At all, a great place to enjoy a nice breakfast.

We ordered a melon shaved ice, matcha shaved ice, ‘snow white’ soufflé and a fish-stick snack for tea time desserts. Overall, the desserts were satisfactory but we had to wait about 40mins between our first and second shaved ice. The melon shaved ice was refreshing but the melons were not exactly fresh. The matcha shaved ice was not too bad with the matcha powder flavouring more on the lighter side. The soufflé was tasty, well-balanced and the best of everything we had. If you are visiting, do check on your order from time to time. Apart from that, it is a nice little cafe to have a meal and dessert.

I give it 4 stars for presentation, and the cafes ambience. The Ice shaving is not exactly the fine kind of ice shavings, is more like the ice kacang kind. We ordered the melon kakigori and the chocolate waffles. Both tastes good. The kakigori is not too sweet, you can add the condensed milk to your liking. Cafe is not noisy if you come after peak hours. Good stop for a dessert!

Great cafe and cozy environment. We went as soon as the shop opened. There's no other customer except us. Food is great, typical western breakfast. Wide option available.

The club sandwich not bad. Matcha redbean soufflés also OK, but ofcz can't compare with Japan soufflés. The waiting time abit longer even tho we are the only table. Overall OK.

It's hard to find parking. Finally, get to try after 3rd try of finding parking space on 3 different days. Scouffle pancake matcha & vanilla: enjoyed matcha more. It's so fluffy and jiggly. Waited about 20 minutes. Cheese wedges: the usual taste of wedges. Served hot.

Stayed at a hotel nearby and decided to give this place a try. I bought the soufle pancake which took around 20 minutes to be prepared. But it was worth it as the taste was good, pancake was light airy and fluffy. Topping was abundant. Price was at the more expensive side, but the portion was quite big so you can share it with 3-4 people.

Really nice spot to get your hands into some desserts. We tried quite a selection and none of them disappointed. The Shibuya banana chocolate toast was my favourite. It's absolutely packed with flavour and a real must try. The me and dew souffle was another great desert. The atmosphere here is great as well, I love the decorations they have laid out

Small but nice place. Good breakfast. We tried a variety of things: the healthy breakfast, roti canai with curry, shibuya toast, waffle etc. We liked everything but it took FOREVER it to arrive. We waited over 2 hours for our last item to be served so skip if you're in a hurry but check out if you're looking for a relaxed brunch morning.

Their shaved ice is great . Melon kakigori 4/5 I expect the melon to be tasted like rock melon but no. It taste like normal melon. Not too sweet. But still acceptable Matcha kakigori 5/5 This is my favourite. There is matcha bitterness to it and I love it so much. I believe the foam above is some sort of cheese? It super match pairing with matcha. Matcha soufflé 5/5 Great. Very fluffy.

Food not bad. Melon a bit hard, can accept. Ice came in first show on photo then waffle that instructions with ice cream on side that did not notice. Then other item can't come out anymore need to wait. For the drinks and souffle. If you have time to wait do recommend. If not. Then just go for ice

First timer went to this cafe. Plenty of parking during night time (weekdays). Cafe closed at 10.30pm. Tried shibuya toast & souffle. Both were delicious and amazing. 10/10. Do visit this cafe if you're craving for something sweet & savoury!

Amazing kakigori (Japanese shaved ice). Super soft and on the same level as a high-end dessert cafe in Japan. Portions are large: 1 is plenty for 2 people. The strawberry chocolate toast was also very good but I feel the kakigori is the real star here. Worth the price. Note: it takes time to shave the ice for each order. I didn't think the wait was unreasonable, but I wouldn't recommend coming here when you're in a hurry.

Good toast and kakigori. Kantaro would approve.

It is located in one of the Macalister Hotel area. The place was not big, but served a good meal & varieties of dessert from kakigori to toasts and waffles. We tried their white fish, which was really good! The souffle was also smooth, puffy, and delicious. We also loved their kakigori, which was softer than we thought. I personally felt that the matcha kakigori was a bit bitter...I wished it was much on the sweet side. But my husband liked it! The ambience was good and they gave free flow water that you can take on the counter. I only wish they upgrade the seating with cushion....so that people can sit more comfortably...

Service is extremely slow. Took close to an hour from ordering to table....The breakfast set portion is small but for the price I guess is OK. Food taste alright, decent but not the greatest. Overall felt a bit underwhelming.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
