Had root canal treatment in wong & sim dental clinic pulau tikus branch. I would say the experience was truly impeccable. Each procedure was well explained by Dr Brenda Sim, and most importantly i did not suffer any pain or discomfort throughout the whole treatment 😄 All the staff are courteous and friendly especially ariel (thank you!), charges are reasonable too. The clinic looks clean & modern, staff is doing sanitisation regularly during my visit.Thankful i have found skillful and friendly dentist like Dr Brenda. I was so happy with my tooth whitening job given by Dr Brenda that I wished she moves to San Francisco where I live. First she gave a thorough cleaning job with a painless up to date method (water spray with microcospic material) not the poking and scraping kind I’m still having at my dear Dr’s office. After a thorough exam, I got an ‘A’ with my gum and absence of cavity. Then she began the application of the Zoom treatment. The whole process lasted over 2 hours. The Price was 60% of the one quoted to me in SF. Assisted by two assistants, i got a very careful, gentle and detailed service. Also, her office was new, clean, and beautiful. Dr Brenda is the best DDS i ever had . She helped made my 68 years old teeth look nice again.

Very friendly doctor that explain my tooth condition in a very detail manner and share the information on the steps that I can take to improve my overall tooth which is to have veneer for my front tooth. No hard selling and push patient to get the veneer but rather seek the patient to consider and advice the best possible option that feasible and meet the patient financial constraint. Recently had a tooth extraction following sudden pain over the holiday period. Turned out to be a rotten tooth that would be best extracted. Dr Brenda Sim was thorough in her assessment and patient in explaining what needed to be done. The process was seamless - accommodating in squeezing me in despite being full. Honestly I was quite scared but Dr Brenda handled it so well that it was over before I knew it and I'm healing well. Glad I went ahead with her advice. Experience was fuss free and professional throughout. Clinic is modern and clean. Highly recommend.

Dr Brenda and her team were so kind to my 99 year old mother when I took her to have two fillings to be done. She was in a wheelchair but they accommodated her well and were skillful and gentle in the preparation and restoration of her two upper incisors. I would be happy to take her there again in the future.

Couple unable to get dentist appointments in UK contacted Wong and Sim for treatment whilst on holiday in Penang. My wife and I were visiting Penang 3 times since April 2022 from Hong Kong. Our last visit was in Nov-Dec, 2022. Before our first visit we planned for a thorough maintenance on both our teeth for some fillings, sensitive teeth, gum and thought if viable we might need to do some veneers. Having had our first visit to Dr Brenda’s clinic, we then decided she should be the right dentist for us for her cheerfulness, friendliness and surely her professional opinions on how we best to proceed. My wife now has the upper and lower complete veneers after the last 2 visits and I have my upper veneers done on the upper part so far due to time constraint on my schedule, but will surely be completing the lower veneers within 2 months when I get back to Penang again. We must thank Dr Brenda and her team for all the work they had done for us. There surely had some hiccup here or there but Dr Brenda was always so willing to go for an extra mile to fix it for us. Thank you, Dr Brenda!!

Dr Brenda and her team have been absolutely amazing in attending to a long list of needs for my teeth. They were so attentive, helpful, and capable even when we had an added difficulty of me only having a short amount of time in Penang. The whole team is so friendly and smiley and I felt so welcomed and relaxed. On top of this, the whole team is very very good and what they do and I could not recommend more to anyone to go here if you have any dental needs. I have been to many dentist around the world and not many can match how good Wong & Sim have been!

I had a really positive experience at the Pulau Tikus location. Front desk was really welcoming and efficient. Staff have excellent English here so foreigners, don’t be scared! Dr. Gerviene Chu took care of me along with two nurses—they all had excellent bedside manners and Dr. Chu took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and check on me asking if I was alright throughout the cleaning. Even tho I proposed an X ray she said I didn’t need one based on the check up as my teeth looked fine and I appreciated the honesty as some other places might just do it to take my money. I chose the airflow cleaning technology which is more expensive however less invasive and reportedly does a more thorough cleaning job than the traditional cleaning method. It felt clean and was not uncomfortable at all. Total time about 30 minutes. So fast! Service was very efficient, and I love the vibe of the place. It was really friendly, and the coworkers seem to get along very well. The place is also very clean and feels safe during covid. Thanks for amazing service!!!

Expect to pay 20% more than other dentist in Georgetown. Also many giant house flies at the dentist which is unacceptable for a high end dentist or hygiene reason for that matter, flying around the dentist room and waiting area. Counted 6 flies. I kid you not. The receptionist uses an electrostatic instrument to zap the files.

My first experience with Dr. Brenda Sim was when she worked at another clinic back in 2015, she was assigned as my dentist as the previously assigned dentist was unavailable. I was extremely impressed by her bedside manner as a doctor and thus began my seeing her for all my dental needs for the past eight years. When she opened her own practice, I was determined to continue having her fill my dental needs. She has done all kinds of dental work for me from cleaning, fillings, tooth extractions, root canals, mouth guards, anything I needed she was able to do and do very well. Her knowledge of dentistry is excellent and her office has state of the art equipment. I would highly recommend anyone who needs dental work to see her and will be very pleased with the results!
