Finally some peace and quiet away from the maddening noise along chulia street. Great value and rustic ambience. Toilet is not attached to room but it's private. No complains.

Recommended! The hygiene/cleanliness is way beyond just excellent, it's literally dust-free, barefoot every corner in the room I could still feeling my feet are sparkly cleaned and refreshing at all where they actually allowed to have shoes on inside the room, I appreciate that. I never had this top notch experience before even those accommodate highly with remarkable excellent cleanliness but still hadn't given me such total agreement upon it. The only thing that minus scores is toilet issue, inconvenient when I had to walk pass the common area to reach it.

Nice decor and has an authentic heritage vibe to it. But overall they are too strict and rigid in some ways. The reception kept pestering me for the balance deposit of RM50 when I already given her RM150. You don't have access to the main door. Everytime you have ring the bell the bell and wait for them to open the door for you. Please be aware that the toilet is not in the room and it wasn't mentioned at all.

The place is good, the room is nice but what makes me disappointed is the staff is so rude. one of the staff even asked me to check out before 10. i dont know why but it kind of to me as i know the check out hour was 12 noon but he asked me to check out on 10. And the staff also a bit busy body as he keep on asking where we want to go and it kind of offended to me. never go to that hotel again. bad services

Female staff on day duty was extremely rude. Place her bag constantly on a sitting area. When asked if we can sit, her reply was ‘better not lor..’ Isn’t the sitting area for guests?

Great place! We came to Ke-lan-tan because the other place we wanted was booked. We were not expecting anything special. We wanted to wait until the hotel we were waiting for was vacant. It was the best surprise that could have happened! The hotel is lovely. The cleanest place on earth. Very pleasantly decorated. Rooms upstairs high and very spacious. You don't even mind that the bathroom is in the corridor because each room has its own pleasant, nicely decorated and very clean bathroom. The hotel staff is polite and very helpful. The surroundings are the best because it is very close to the popular centre, however, being only a few minutes walking distance, you can comfortably sleep at night because it is very quiet. The beds are also super comfortable! When we moved to this hotel which was our destination, after one night we cancelled further stay there and returned to Ke-lan-tan.

Very nice hotel to stay. We enjoyed the place, the room was spacious and clean with AC. The staff was lovely and very helpful.

Stayed at Pitt's Room on the ground floor. The room is spacious and very clean. AC works properly. Separated bathroom but private with complete amenities. Biscuit, tea, and coffee are provided all day long. The location is very good, not on the main road but within walking distance to some of delicious food in George Town. Prepare MYR 100 cash for the deposit fee. Overall a great stay for the price I paid.

Local style and each room is nicely decorated with private bathroom outside of the bedroom, you have to walk like 50 steps to your designated bathroom. Nice staff but the area is a bit out of the city center. Can be very quiet from the evening onwards

We had a brilliant stay at Kelantan House. It was super clean and a beautiful heritage house. Our room was very comfortable and even though the bathroom was outside the room we didn’t mind as this was such a great chance to stay somewhere special and unique. Really walkable location for exploring the town.

I came at 12am and just wanted to drop my bag because I know it's earlier to check in. But somehow the owner let me check in. I didn't expect that! And the lady who takes care of this place is soooo friendly as well as the owner. The only minus is they don't have hair dryer but that's not a big thing since I got so many pluses. I stayed at kimberley room and it was so cozy, well-managed, so clean, and quiet. They played Mariah Carey all day long every day and that is just okay. Theg don't serve breakfast but provide coffee, tea, and hot water downstairs.

If u wish to experience something classic yet convenient, Malaysian culture with modern touch, Ke-lan-tan is one of the most perfect good choice! Just behind the police station, at Chowrasta area. Love it much!

Gorgeous building, quite close to old part of the town.

Awesome quaint stay. Place is clean, aircond cold and hot shower. Access to Georgetown and shopping is easy. Friendly staffs.

Major love for this place. The house was so cozy and the price was reasonable. Always come back here whenever im in Penang.

Its a good room with nice details. Have own bathroom but not attached to the room, which might be a hassle. There's a tv in the room but absolutely no channel to watch at all. Overall, its an okay place to go since its in the town but I wouldn't go there for the second time.

The room I stayed was clean and comfortable. The receptionist always offer their help and the best part is that they have a pantry for drinking coffee and tea.

Nice heritage hotel, cozy and comfortable in the middle of the city. Parking is a big problem here and that is the only down side.
