This shop is few steps away from the famous nyonya museum. So we were here for lunch after we visited the nyonya museum as we saw a lot of locals visiting this shop. There are various local food stalls such as char kuay teow, hokkien mee, nasi kandar and toast. The food here is average, the cleanliness can be improved, but the service is fast and the staff here is very friendly and polite.

Decent little Kopitiam for a nice bowl of Kuey Teow Theng (Rice Noodles Soup) and a delicious plate of Char Kuey Teow (Fried Rice Noodles). The Kopi-O is delicious. A good place to stop by for small simple meals.

Their roti Taiwan is definitely superb. Order their kuey teow soup with those BIG fishballs, wantan mee and never miss their breakfast menu. You would not want to miss out this place when you're in Penang for the first time!!

The char koay teow here is fried very nicely and tasty. The koay teow thn'g is not bad also, but I like the Pitt Street one better.

Old Kopitiam, the atmosphere is still original. Delicious coffee and good toast, we try kaya butter toast, Taiwanese bread sprinkled with beans ... a recommendation. In addition there are also foods such as char keuw tiau, hainan chicken rice, wonton mee. The place is recommended for breakfast.

Busy popular place. I came here for breakfast. I was immediately asked if I wanted something to drink. I ordered an iced coffee milk with no sugar. It was Rm 2. I went to the western counter and ordered an American breakfast. It was 2 pieces of toast, a fried egg, a few beans and 2 hotdogs. That came to Rm 3.70. There are ceiling fans.

Breakfast is typically the first meal of a day, most often eaten in the early morning before undertaking the day's work. Best Cafés for Breakfast in George Town, Malaysia Sweet, savory, quick, easy, brunch- worthy and more.

Love this type of Old Style Cafe aka Kopitiam. Not easy to find such kopitiam nowadays with decent foods, toasts and good customer service!

The char koay teow and fried rice by the sisters have never failed me. Reasonable price and deliciously fried. Must try in Penang!

To outsiders who are reding this. To be very honest. The food here taste OK only. If you want to eat Koay Teow T'hng. There are much better choices / places - outside of Georgetown area. Drop by for the kopi and toast. Yours Sincerely, a penang resident.

Love this place good food, tradition Penang drinks, Teh O, The Tarik etc, excellent price, no airs no pretences just good old style kopitaim eating. If you like Aircon and trendy surroundings, it's not for you. Good ventilation from fans however. Friendly vendors and servers

Came here for breakfast. Tried the wantan mee, hokkien mee and also the yam cake. Wantan mee is decent. Noodle consistency is nice, quite springy. The wanton dumplings have skin to meat ratio. I was surprised that it was only sold at rm5 for a small plate. So inexpensive. Hokkien mee is okay. I didn't quite like that it came with the processed fish/squid ball. The texture wasn't very good. Otherwise the rest was quite okay. There's an auntie selling economy fried noodles, the fried stuffs were already cold. And the yam cake was not soft enough. The chilly which comes with the yam cake wasn't good as well. Parking is not too hard early in the morning.,

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. 🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
