I've stayed in a lot of hostels all over the world, and I'm not picky at all - but this one has to be the worst. It's like someone read a guide called 'how to have a good hostel' and then proceeded to do the exact opposite. Beds are uncomfy and squeak every time anyone moves, air con cannot be adjusted, my bed linen was dirty, I had to ask for a blanket (didn't even have a top sheet provided), the toilets were filthy, they didn't provide loo roll, the lockers were broken, the dorms are off of a laundrette and people hang around there all hours of the night. The staff weren't unpleasant but I can't say I felt welcomed, the wifi didn't work. I could probably go on! The good points were it was cheap (5 AUD for a night) and the location was good (but all of the backpacker hostels in George Town are in the same area). I'd recommend going for somewhere a little more expensive that offers breakfast - that way you end up paying the same anyway. The only reason I didn't leave early was because I'm skint and a cheapskate - seriously, this place is NOT GOOD.

To bad! Not recomended! No towel, no mirror inside room, no soap, no privacy, noisy, no room with window, no leisure area, dont have any laundry area, no breakfast provided at all, not friendly & rude! I dont want to give any star at all! Highly overrated and over priced. Very bad hospitality, and lack customer servicing skills. Badly maintained, very poor ventilation for rooms. Hostile towards customers, and do not have the common sense to prioritise customer needs and problems. Faulty and unclean toilets. Faulty air conditioning system. Trips every 5 minutes, added with 0 ventilation, causes a sense of irritation and uncomfortable living quarters. Poorly illuminated, poor linen standards. No blankets or tissue paper given for rooms. No smoking area.Will suggest not to ever look at this hotel. Have been traveling for many years, this is the worst service i have ever seen.

It's one of the cheapest options around the backpackers area and in my opinion you're better off spending 3ringgit (e.g. at Love Lane Inn, with breakfast and cool owner who likes to play house music) more than being a stingy traveller in a stinking hostel. The poor chain-smoking devil who's in charge is probably overworked and cannot come after even the smallest request like toilet paper or a blanket - the first night my boyfriend and me had to squeeze in a bunk that sounded like its about to fall apart every time we moved and share a blanket, because the air-con was turned on full blast. When I asked him if we could get half the money back for that night, he said its not his duty to provide blankets. I forgot to mention his generosity, providing us with mattresses and pillows. Legend. If you're on the ground floor, you can conveniently wash your clothes in the washing salon (which you have to walk through to get to the dorm) and enjoy the rumbling noise of the dryer at night. Apart from that, the toilets are dirty af (and with dirty I don't mean there's a bit of hair blocking the drain. The good things about this place is it's cheap, the toilets are not just a hole in the ground and you can improve your anger management

We stayed for two nights. Rooms are very confortable and staff quite nice, but they do not provide towels and toilets not very clean. Also you can hear everything from other rooms and corridor.

Stay for a night here, super low budget.. They have the necessities but don't expect too much facilities. Suitable for easygoing tourist. Actual place in between dobby and mash clubhouse.

Clean rooms, kind staffs, just there are no signboard showing the hostel so you need to find a black grill with a picture of mickey mouse. Have a security lock. Located beside the Feringghi Laundry.

Actually a well located hostel.. however, the staff when we arrived are really not friendly at all... on the next day, another staff is really friendly and helpful.... hope the management would made some improvements .... receptionist is not 24hours ....

Wifi only near the reception. Water all over the toilet floors for two days and they didn't react. The receptionist had no control at arrival. Keep away from this place.😫
