Expensive rooms in terrible condition for the prices. Mould, leaking air con, some of the cleaners and lobby staff are noisy, lazy and rude. Lack of simple amenities in rooms. All round a dirty and smelly hotel. Do not recommend.

Book via agoda and got in for half price. All informations are given on the listing. Not too spacious but enough for family stay. Not soundproof since the window is louver type. Big toilet. Got small refrigerator and water heater. No iron n standard tv chanel. Got basement parking for customers, RM50 for check-in deposit. Overall rate was a comfortable stay and worth the price. Great for short stay 👍🏻

Affordable hotel/hostel in Pulau Tikus area, very near to major attractions and hospitals. Tenants mostly are staff from hospitals but during peak seasons and festivities its packed due to it's location and affordability. The manager Ms Grace is a really nice lady to deal with.

Well,you shouldnt judge a book by its cover fits really well with this hotel. I order a room for 5 people and I don't get high hope because the reviews are bad in the internet. BUT! The room was clean and spacious. Even got a living room. The wifi is kinda meh because it keep on disconnected. Staff was not really kind but not rude either. My father stayed in this hotel for a few time and he said that the hotel is growing and the room that we stayed is also a new room.

Very bad service and very dirty, today there was an explosion in the electricity section of the hotel and resulted in guests scattering to escape to the highway, a very thick smoke makes breathing difficulty, the absence of a crew that helps save visitors. As a result visitors who stay 80% are guests who are treated in this city is displaced and have to find their own hotel at 23.00, fire and smoke warning does not work, never to return to BURMAHTEL.

Stay here for doctor appointment nearby. Compared to two year ago when in renovation and get old room, the room now is newly renovated and clean. Wifi works although not so fast. Has hot and cold water dispenser and lotsa cheap, great food nearby.

This hotel offers early check-in as early as 7am and does not charge extra for early check-in. Although the facilities are rather old but they are in the process of renovating the whole hotel The rooms are surprisingly spacious and super clean with the dining table and 5 person bed included for RM230 Recommended for family or group visiting relatives or visiting patients at Hospital Pulau Pinang.

Very reasonable room rate. Clean and tidy room with aircond, thermal pot, fridge, attached bathroom and free WiFi. Location very near to local attractions and eatsries. Rooms for 2 - 4 persons are available. Good value for money.

Quite clean, but the front desk service is not quite kind. A lot of patient from various hospital here. Ac and hot water is available here. Wifi also available. Have sharing kitchen for daily use.

Not nice. Open windows, very dark for the cheapest room.

Value for money..the room is clean and spacious..however the location is a bit far to local attraction and eateries if you are travelling without private vehicle..the receptionist also very helpful and friendly
