i must say this is the best-kept open dimsum secret in George Town. Just by looking at the shapes of the dimsum n the unique taste of some of them, you will know they are custom-made and not sourced from a large scale dimsum factory. It's your classic mom-n-pop dimsum stall. A bit colloquial; no waiter to wheel the dimsum cart to u; u just go to the tray and fill your tray with what you want. That's fun in its own way. If you know Cantonese, chat with the lady at the stall, she can be quite chatty in that dialect. Please try the green siu mai, which has celery inside... it really balances the 'porkiness'.

Came here for the mushroom chicken noodles at dinner time. Pretty tasty, but not enough meat / mushroom / vegetables. Portion is on the smaller side. 7 bowls for rm60. Sold out and closed by 8:30pm.

This stew chicken with mushrooms flat noodles is simply the best and one of its kind. Recipe passed down from father to son. Been having it from the father's time until now

Excellent Kai Si Hor Fun (Chicken Noodle) and the roasted duck too. Most ppl dislike roast ducks due to the aroma, but this only has a mild taste of it so very suitable for non duck lovers. Parking is very limited though, due to being within a high densed residential area, especially when there's wedding dinner at the hall on the main road.

Their mushroom hor fun was very good. Also cheap. RM5 small bowl without any mushroom (I wonder how they call mushroom chicken noodle when no myshroom). I recommend u ordered medium size RM7 and u will find few slices of mushroom. Do order the peipa duck just besides the hor fun stall. RM14 per quarter. Quite delicious

There is a dim sum operation in the morning and a separate zhuchar in the evening. Good range of dimsum. Highlights for me are the crispy tofu skin stuff. Reasonable price but difficult parking. Night operation is soup noodles.

A drinking water cost Rm1.50... serious? Recommend to take away if you come to order the Ho fun. The coffee shop really profiteeringใ€‚

Not as good as I imagined. Itโ€™s alright, just doesnโ€™t blow your mind. Comfort food Cantonese-style and popular in the neighbourhood. The kuey-tiau is nice and soft complemented with a pretty umami chicken mushroom gravy. Chicken is a bit dry.

An old coffee shop below a housing flat. The ๐Ÿ” ๐Ÿ„ hor fun is famous here but tastes normal. Small portion but price quite cheap. There are lots of fried snacks to order from another stall. Taste average, but it's good to go with the small bowl of ๐Ÿœ .

Not so crowded local estate KopiTiam that has 2 very interesting stalls, the koay Teow soup n the Pipa Duck stalls. Both also very good but if I can only choose one, the PiPa roast duck !

A local dim sum restaurant just below an old apartment. They are a little hidden from the main road if youโ€™re not familiar with the area. But the taste of the dim sum is pretty good and feels authentic. This will also be one of my to-go dim sum spot.

๐Ÿ‘ Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
