It's a new hotel and i don't regret choosing this place. It's clean, the interior looks simple n homey.Toiletries r also provided if u forgot urs. I hope the hotel maintains n keeps up with their current standards n services. Definitely the car park is limited so, i suggest u to park at the public parking space(the parking space with the circle bump in the middle). Just make sure u install the smart parking app in ur phone to pay for the parking coupon.

We expect parking first come first serve, please do not call guest at 11pm ask to move car for other guest double park us (our car is not blocking anyone, and there still plenty parking at road side), but your staff could just saying "we will still call you to remove car even at 4am midnight, our parking our rules

Very new hotel. Listed 3* on Agoda as there's no facility in this hotel but with amenities - fridge, coffee n tea making n toiletries. Love d room. It's v new n spacious. Located away fr d main road = short walk to main roads = quieter. Room comes with a small window with a little view. Rain shower is πŸ‘πŸΌ Hotel staff r friendly n approachable. *RM 100 cash deposit required. Take note.

Hotel is still new and very clean. Room size reasonable with very well thought out room convenience design eg luggage bench, open wardrobe, dry toilet, bedside /bed lightings. Safe, hot water jug, mini fridge, iron and board , hair dryer, all provided. Hotel location is convenient to walk to many popular food places, this is important as parking within George Town is not so easy. Just one point for improvement.. during booking, I asked to place rooms together (booked 6 rooms) especially the one for my ageing mom so I could to and fro her room to help her, their were careless in LISTENING and my mom ended up at a different floor. Otherwise, this hotel is highly recommended.

The room is excellent. Super clean, aircond is super cold and blanket sheets kept me warm & fuzzy. I had good sleep every night staying here. The experience is just memorable. Will recommend to friends & family.

His room was a great sleep, the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Although his parking space is a bit troublesome, but fortunately his staff are very kind including the cleaners. The room was also very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend him!

The room is quite clean, and also very good water pressure in the shower, location is also great. We were travelling in group of 3, sometimes it’s hard to get a room that can accommodate 3 ppl, luckily they have a room equipped with one big king bed + one single bed. Overall satisfied with my stay there.

A very new hotel. Very comfortable lobby, saw another get falling asleep on the soft leather seats, probably waiting to check in.. Rooms and toilets are clean. My family booked 5 rooms. The bigger room were spacious. Staff is helpful and polite. Surrounded by lots of food options. Easy to get around via grab to all shopping malls. Around 10 mins walk to First Avenue Mall, Pragin Mall and Attraction like rainbow skywalk and Top View Restaurant (a must-go). Value for money. Location also felt safe (surroundings and within the hotel). Would love to come back again. Highly recommend

We booked two rooms at this hotel for a four day trip in Georgetown. Overall good compared to other accommodations in Georgetown. The room size is adequate, RM160+ per night in April 2023 (Raya holiday) from Agoda. Friendly staff, the Chinese male staff he explained everything very clear upon we checked-in. They allow us to put our luggage in their luggage room after check out. The room was clean. The air conditioner worked well and the water pressure was good. But the fridge isn't cold enough? Our room is on the 6th floor, we only can heard a slight noise from out side at night (fireworks, heavy wind and rain). The pillow too soft but they provide 2 pillow for each person. The bed was so good. Car park enough, you can park your car at the roadside opposite the hotel. They provide warm drinking water at lobby. Cons: no tissue paper only have toilet paper, boring TV channels would be better with HDMI, ants found @ room 604. But not a big issues for us. Will definitely come back again or recommend to my friends who looking for hotels in Georgetown.

A budget hotel located near many hawkers/stalls in Georgetown. Spacious room for family (1 toddler), AC very cool. Refrigerator also have a freezer. As many reviews said, soundproofing was poor by my standard. You can hear voice inside room from 10-15 meters away. But overall, i was very satisfied. Worth the budget.

+ Excellent value for money. + The room and bathroom are really big for a hotel at this price point. + Great location, walking distance (about 1km) to famous cendol, The TOP, street food stalls, etc. + Tiles flooring in the room (Not carpet! Great!!!) It is overall cleaner. - Soundproofing is indeed poor as mentioned by many reviews. - Premium Double Room with King size bed... Supposed to have a proper window. But in actual it is only a very small window. No view. No balcony. - Only 1 keycard provided. Not sure if another will be provided as we didn't actually ask. No big deal for us though.

β€œGood location ” Hotel located at a very strategic location, surrounded with all famous eatery with walking distance. simple hotel room, no other facilities. limited carpark lot. front desk staff didn't inform or remind of the local council summons, we didn't pay for the parking, summon issued. room is ok with just basic amenities, water pressure is not consistent. need to inform if housekeeping required, cleanliness need to improve, they didn't change bed cover during housekeeping. if u r light sleeper please do not choose this hotel, very noisy at night or morning, you can hear people showering, talking, laughing, closing door, walking from above floor most of the time.

  • 5/5 Su Hee C. 8 months ago on Google
Excellent location. The room was new, clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and smooth. The only downside was the soundproofing. On the first night, I was woken up by people talking in the next room. But I guess one can always wear ear plugs as a solution.

We visited George Town, Penang, for a medical check up at Gleneagles. We booked a 3 nights stay in a triple bedroom for three of us. The check in was simple and easy even though we had to check in very late due to our flight from SG. The room was spacious, clean bedsheets (important!), and bright. Bathroom was not big but spacious enough to keep our toiletries and towels. We placed the three cabin suitcases on the bench, wardrobe, and under the table. Works well for us. Although they dont provide breakfast at all, they’re located near breakfast places and also close to the hospital. So we walked to the breakfast place and called a GrabCar to go to Gleneagles, and arrived in 2-4mins only. We didnt have any problems with the hotel. We paid 50RM for a late check out at 3pm due to our flight back home, totally worth it. We managed to visit a dim sum shop, souvenir shops, went to local clothing shops, and prayed at the hotel before heading to the airport. Definitely a good experience.

Awesome hotel. Staffs very pleasant & quick response, nice room, cool aircon, clean, hot/cold water dispencer at the lobby. Not so near to attraction spot but all within a 15-20 minutes walk

Really enjoyed our stay here. A new hotel so everything is still in great condition. The free water dispenser at the lobby is very useful. Also in good location, within walking distance to hawker streets and Komtar. The only downside is the TV channels selection is very limited to few international and local channels.

Very nice & clean room, we get the triple rooms with 1 single bed & 1 king bed, the single bed was good, but the king bed wasn't. Pillows were nice. Aircon super good. The wash basin table not big enough for 3 people. A bit cramped Hotel location near New world park food centre, lots of the food there were delicious. Should try Hong kong mong kok station, the luncheon rice is good, worth to try, located near the hotel This hotel provides water dispenser at the lobby, which is very considerate for guests. Definitely will come back to stay at this hotel again, if the price still affordable

The hotel is strategically located at centre of city. Easily accessible to all eating places. The room is very new and clean. Though the parking lot is limited, there are plenty of roadside municipal parking lots available. Front desk staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. Definitely worth to come back again.

Clean and nice budget hotel. Most important thing is that there are ample carpark around the hotel. You can find many restaurants nearby within walking distance, namely Green House Hokkien Mee, New World Park hawker centre, and many more. If there is 1 complaint, perhaps the sound proofing of the rooms an be improved. You can hear people chatting from the next room, the water flowing through the pipes were especially loud and can be disturbing. 😰😰

Straight to the point, excellent ! The hotel is still new. Other than that, cleanliness is the most important thing to me and I believe it is to most of all of you. The quality and the services provided which I have experienced was way far above a budget hotel as it describes itself. The staffs were so friendly and humble. It is definitely a first choice hotel for me as it is value for the money.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in while visiting Georgetown. It is close enough to many different attractions and restaurants with just walking and also the biggest transit center on the island. This lets you easily get to any part of the island using just public transportation. The staff is great and helpful as well. The rooms were neat and clean and room service was nice. The only thing that needs to be improved is their wifi which is not very reliable, would easily give 5 stars otherwise. The free water filter on the ground floor is great to have.

Had food poisoning while at hotel, and hotel lady was not at all helpful in helping me call a local hospital during the midst of my sickness. Just told me to get a grab to any private hospital and call them for appointment. While I tried to call, she was on her cell phone talking to a friend loudly. Not great customer service.

SLAM SLAM SLAM! The sound of doors slamming is the reoccuring trend here. Worse part is the hotel receives a lot of big groups/families who like to go nowhere but to each other rooms and do nothing but slam doors every 15 mins earlyyyy in the morning. You will become enveloped in this orchestra of chaos. Also can't forget the lady screaming and slamming things before roosters are even up. I am talking about like 5am. However, if you are a heavy sleeper and noise don't bother you then by all means book this place. The location is pretty good, near a few hawker centers and room was clean.

Room is clean. Bed is very comfortable, and very big. Staffs are friendly. Location is nearby penang road and it is good. Quiet place. But limited parking. Have safety box and small fridge. Room condition is like 3 or 4 stars. Recommended to stay here.

It was operated by January 2022. Room size , 2 suitcase 28inch suitcase size, there is still enough space to pass by. Fair price. Very clean for new hotel. No breakfast , but there are a lot of delicious hawker surround.

This hotel seems to be pretty new if you ask me Rooms are spacious, most of the stuff inside are pretty new...everything you need is provided There's a parking space in front of the hotels but pretty limited, it's basically 2 rows of 4-5 cars...that's the maximum parking space but you should be easily able to get parking in the morning as it's only full at night there's a water dispenser at ground floor near the reception which makes it easy for hotel guest as they don't have to keep buying water Hotel location is fantastic, it's walking distance to anything if you're willing to walk it's a 5 minute walk to lorong bary night market and a 10-15 min walk to 1st avenue/perangin mall(depending how fast you walk) Overall, a pretty good hotel for it's value

We stayed in July 2022. πŸ‘πŸ» Nice clean spacious room. Comfortable clean big bed with 4 pillows. Lots of good lighting. Good aircon. Good bathroom. Decent basic tv channels in English thanks. Standby MYR$100 for room deposit. Lots of good food places nearby. Walking distance to New World Park Food Court, Chowrasta Mkt & Pasar Food, Prangin & 1st Avenue Malls. Downside: -LOUSY WIFI. We had connection issues with their WIFI everyday. Informed the reception staff twice on day 1 but still no improvement. The staff also did not provide good service on this issue. No follow-up call to our room. Did not even come to our room to check on the wifi connection issue πŸ™„ I had to come to the reception to ask further. -Everyday, few times a day you can hear other room doors closing with a bang. Annoying guests πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ Overall still a good hotel to stay. Please improve the WIFI.

This place is always the best when coming to Penang. There's space for 8 cars so don't have to worry about getting parking ticket. It's a bit of a hassle to have to move your car for others but anywhere you park in Penang is a problem. The place is super clean and has all the amenities. Place to put your bag as well as hang up clothes. All the fixtures work. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Although owned by the same owner as Frame hotel, overall I find Veno better. For some reason, every time we stay at Frame, some guest are smoking in the room. So far, no problems with Veno!
